We (family of 4) booked a deluxe suite and were upgraded to penthouse on arrival. A beautiful room decorated to a high standard. Netflix on the television was a bonus

Location is superb justvaway from the proper tourist trap of Plaka but within walking distance of all major sites. A 5 minute walk from the nearest Metro station which has a direct line from the airport (35 minute journey)

All the staff from housekeeping, concierge and breakfast servers were top draw and so friendly.

The room had a full standing fridge freezer, hotplates, kitchen sink, kettle, filter coffee machine - everything you need to keep the family happy.

If I visit Athens again, this will be my go to hotel - there's no reason to stay elsewhere.

I do wish to apologise however for the noise my family made- apparently neighbours complained and we were politely told off. I'm they told us because we don't want to annoy and I accept my fam can be very loud. Many apologies and thank you for the professional and sympathetic way it was handled.

Thank you for the awesome time!!

Staff are super friendly, service is excellent. They only had a budget double for the night we wanted but the room was such a very good size and design we do not feel we would need a luxury room next time. Breakfast was included on the 8th floor, and on the 9th floor was an amazing roof terrace overlooking the Acropolis. They let us leave our luggage in a locked room as our flight was late in the evening. As the weather was wet and windy, ( yes Athens in September!) they invited us to come back in the afternoon for a coffee in the lounge on the house. We will definitely return next year on our way to and from the islands

We stayed here for 5 nights. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room itself was cleaned Daily and spacious with a couch, kitchenette area, and small bathroom. The only drawbacks were that at 6:30am the church bells from a nearby church would ring and that the shower was a bit too small with no shelf to hold your soap/shampoo.
The hotel is incredibly well located and all
The key sites are within a 15-30 minute walk. The street that the hotel is located on has a bunch of excellent top rated restaurants beloved by both locals and tourists and takes you all the way to the base of the acropolis.

Staying at this hotel was a very satisfying experience. The staff were very accomodating, the decor is aesthetically pleasing, the hotel was in a very ideal location (walkable to all the main attractions) and breakfast was ample.

At a time when the 2nd lockdown in Greece was imposed, the staff really went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible and gave us advice on places to visit and how to get there.

I was scheduled to have an online meeting one morning and they provided a meeting room at my request on the 8th floor. Of that, I was really grateful.

The only dissapointment we have, I suppose is that we were given a very nice but rather small room and not a suite in a high floor throughout our whole stay. I suppose it saved us from having to move rooms after the first night but we did look forward to the studio suite and were dissappointed we couln't stay in one. Still, we enjoyed our stay. Not entirely the hotels fault as we booked the 1st night in a studio suite and the next 2 nights in a double room (2 bookings as we werent sure we could make it the 1st day) We also requested a high floor room which we got.

The staff were excellent and addressed our concerns straight away 😁.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everybody visiting Athens!

We were looking for a place to stay for two nights in Athens and my husband read the reviews of this hotel, and we quickly grabbed the last room available, a suite for $250 a night. The suite turned out to have 2 bedrooms (one with a king size bed, the other with a queen), 2 baths, a living room area with a sofa and tv with Netflix, and a kitchenette area that had a kitchen sink, some cabinets with dishes, a mini refrigerator and a microwave. It is absolutely perfect for a family or a very low priced situation for two couples. We paid to get the breakfast, which was a buffet set up with two employees serving you the items you selected. There was a baked vegetarian omelet, stuffed grape leaves, cappuchino and a variety of breakfast choices, and you could go back and get more food.
The location was wonderful as the other reviewers had noted. It is a short walk to the Metro and I took the metro two stops to the Acropolis Museum. The hotel is surrounded with lots of shops and restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday, but on Monday the food market a block or two away had opened up with an amazing array of food items-seafood, meat, produce, candy, baked goods, etc. We didn't buy them as we were eating in restaurants, but it was engrossing to walk around and see all the different things for sale. It was never boring staying there, just walk a block or two to explore Athens.
The staff were helpful with directions, suggestions and the staff spoke English. We had to get a covid test for our flight home and they gave us the name of a local clinic and pointed out we could also get tested at the pharmacy one and 1/2 blocks away. We did the pharmacy antigen test for $10 each at 8 am and had results within half an hour-ate breakfast at the hotel while they processed it and came back for the print out of the results. We had to upload it to the airline's app, so I gave the gentleman at the front desk our results and he scanned them and emailed them to us so we could upload them. For those who use a pharmacy, you do have to fill in online paperwork for the EU before they do the test.

We were scheduled to stay at the Pinnacle in May 2020. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, travel plans were clearly changing. Our room rate was non refundable. Pinnacle hotel contacted us before we even had a chance to reach out to them. They offered a voucher that would be good for 5 years and also included an extra night stay. Very much appreciate their help.

We can’t fault this place. From start to finish, it was a great place to stay. We had reserved a two bedroom deluxe suite, and were pleased to find we had received an upgrade on arrival to a penthouse suite. Essentially it has the same amenities and high standards as what we had booked, but this suite came with extra floor space. The front desk team were all friendly and helpful. They explained the local area etc to us upon arrival, and helped with printing off copies of those beloved passenger locator forms before our return to the UK. The suite itself was beautifully furnished, with comfy beds, and just a relaxing feel to the whole place. It was a welcome retreat after each day’s sightseeing. The welcome wine and fruit in our suite was a very nice touch - thank you. As for breakfast, we felt there was plenty of choice each morning. The offerings range from traditional Greek savouries to the usual (but very good) variety of cheeses, cold meats and breads. I didn’t know if I would enjoy olive tapenade on bread for breakfast, but I did! The Greek yoghurt and honey were especially enjoyable. Every day the ladies who kept the breakfast run going were friendly and helpful. In fact, nothing was too much trouble for anyone we met who worked there. The Pinnacle is centrally located on a pedestrian street, and you can walk to the main sights. No need for the metro. A plethora of cafes and restaurants are on your doorstep and beyond - the choice seems endless, so we were fine for the four days we spent in Athens!

We landed in Athens quite late (8:30PM) with plans to leave the following early afternoon, so only had a very short visit at The Pinnacle. That said, we received recommendations by the staff on where we could dine upon arrival (and booked ahead to ensure space) . We arrived unsure of what the situation would be at the airport so did not preplan a tour of the Acropolis for the next morning, though we were hoping to do a tour ahead of our trip outside the city. The staff was able to arrange a private tour for us at 9PM that night for the following 9AM in the morning - which we very much appreciated at such a last minute and with limited availability online. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city for all attractions and all measures were put into place to ensure health and safety upon arrival. We are very much looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Athens!

Probably the Hotel you should absolutely not consider. They DO NOT have any respect for the promises made. I had made a booking with this Hotel and it was cancelled by the Hotel directly. They gave me a voucher for future stays and when I requested to redeem the voucher in spite of the 3 months advance notice they said there is not a single slot available. This is when their Owner Konstantinos was the one who guaranteed the voucher personally. Attaching picture of the voucher and their email of decline!

My partner and I visited here for a long weekend and were really impressed with the location; middle of Athens central to many landmarks, restaurants and bars.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about nearly everything to do with food, bars, history and more. Thus hotel also has a nice rooftop area to sit and eat to admire the views aswell.

Rooms were clean and spacious although we were abit taken back by the decor (very random colour themes, pictures including one on the ceiling, cabinet units to give an idea).

Would definitely recommend a better breakfast menu because it was limited and bland, full size mirrors in rooms and better double beds.

If we were to return to Athens, we would strongly consider booking The Pinnacle again.
