The hotel is really right in the center of Athens and yet you don't hear any noise in the rooms. The apartments are quite large, modern and very clean. The beds are quite soft. Small shortcoming in the quite small bathroom there is no shelf and in the whole apartment no possibility to sit together as a group. But is not bad because the roof terrace with an insane view is quite large and offers the opportunity to sit together. Breakfast is also served there. It is brought in a basket with fresh sandwiches, fruit, cereal, stuffed puff pastry, coffee, juice, egg variants, jams and sausage. Very delicious. I can recommend the hotel. Particular praise still to all employees. I've never experienced that everyone is really helpful and really friendly. Every wish was granted.

Wonderful service, beautiful location and apartment, great spa, delicious and generous breakfast, can’t wait to return - this is a special place. We are a couple with three children and all of us loved our time here.

Down a street of some empty buildings, street graffiti and some dodgy pavements/sidewalks lies this rather fantastic small hotel. With only 10 or 12 rooms ( I never counted them) over 6 floors, an underground jacuzzi, steam room and small gym packed into this place. How do they do it??? They cut down on the size of the lift/elevator. Which snugly fits one person and a suitcase. Two people at a squeeze but only if your with them😀. The room was spacious enough with a large bed, small seating area and large shower room. We had the triple room so it is larger than a standard double I assume. The balcony overlooked the street but the double glazing meant there was no noise disturbance.
Breakfast is served on the top floor terrace with a great view towards the Acropolis and the wider city to the West. It is a continental breakfast with eggs, bread, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt and extras of jam, marmalade and honey. Coffee and orange juice come in a flask and bottle. They do give you quite a bit and with the fruit too you can take it away and have it as a snack lunchtime.
This part is where the hotel exceeds, The Service is Exceptional!!!!!!!!! From extra towels, questions about the city and what to do to bringing drinks down to the basement jacuzzi when you’re using it.
Vasilios, Sophia, Evie and all really do make sure you’re well cared for. The cleaning team make sure the room is organised and ready each day when you come back from a day of sightseeing, and it always looks like you’ve just checked in.
The hotel so situated in Psyrri and is ideal for a number of restaurants and bars within 50-200 metre walk. You will not go hungry and there is a great range from cheap to expensive restaurants and some decent bars too.

This was a gem of a find in the Psyrri area of Athens. The entrance to the hotel looks unassuming and down a normal Athens street in the gentrified area of Psyrri, with lots of bars and restaurants just around the corner (on first arrival the graffiti gave me concerns but it is literally everywhere and not a sign of anything untoward in Athens).
The staff, including Vasilios the manager, could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Vasilios gave us a great overview of where we were in Athens, things to do and see, areas to avoid, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast on the roof terrace each day was really wonderful, with a basket of cold food provided and then a hot plate also made available.
The rooms were big - we had a deluxe apartment with two bedrooms (one with a sofa bed) and a small dressing area with a fridge and view of the Acropolis. There is a small spa in the hotel which is also brilliant and available to use.
The lift in the hotel is tiny and the stairs are spiral, so be aware of that if you're booking and need greater accessibility. For us it was good fun and a work out for the legs.
I couldn't recommend this place highly enough - the location is great but the team there go the extra mile and make this place exceptional.

I hesitated whether to give this 4* simply based on service, which was excellent. Vassilis goes the extra mile, did whatever possible to help and even upgraded us to a pool room. Definitely 5* service.
The staff were super nice and the touch of a welcome cake was excellent. The place is super located and you can walk everywhere. Always helpful and friendly. That carries the place for sure.
My reason for the lack of 5* is just to give a balanced view. The rooms are super clean, and comfortable, but the view over a derelict courtyard is not quite the ticket.
The breakfast served with the view, is all good food, but again not really appropriate to serve on a freezing day outside, with no heating and having to wear a coat, hat and gloves to eat (ok, normally, the weather is warm...but nevertheless bringing the meals 1 by 1 from the gnd floor, does not make it easy), on really small cocktail tables. Suggest you find another way and there is already 1 extra star.
The rooms could do with a bit more thought in content rather than form. But again they are nice and clean. No place to put anything in the bathrooms, or hang much in the room. But then you get bathrobes, slippers etc, so all fab. if the weather is not warm, the heating does not work, the bathroom still needs a heater please, and closing off the wires coming out of the wall.
We did get another room for last night, with it's own small private pool. Really nice touch and worth booking if you like that sort of thing (gnd floor). The small pool, sauna, and steam room were all nice too, yet again something missing in content rather than all the form. Sauna does not get hot simply because the door is glass and not sealed. Suggest not to charge extra for usage, even if they waive the fee it seems. Just make it part of the experience. Small things would really make this all click together.
A lot of hesitation on what to recommend here, as they are super welcoming, made us feel really good, super clean...just needs some extra work, sorting out breakfast, adding shelves, heating that works etc. So all things that can make this a great place, as the service is something they are clearly proud of. Just do not expect nice views from the rooms, or around the location, which is graffiti tagged everywhere, like the rest of the city, which is such a shame.
I do not disagree with all the great service reviews, just wanted to give a bit of balance to avoid not hitting expectations...We liked our stay for sure, and with super thanks to Vassili and his team.

The hotel is close to the restaurant area, easy to reach the sites and museums but it is indeed in a dirty and neglected road of the centre. The rooms are very clean and modern with confortable beds, but while we were staying there, there were a lot of refurbishment works, with wood and materials left on the narrow stairs. The breakfast is medium quality and the terrace where it is served it is very small, as the elevator… extremely small…In my opinion there are better places for that price!

This little gem has the best location , walking distance to everything you can think of. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Outstanding service from the begging to the end from everyone.
This is a small, newly renovated hotel with a rooftop terrace where this amazing breakfast ( more like a brunch ) is served every morning. Very safe as the front door is always locked and you need a code to get in.
Like most reviews stated, the elevator is extremely small (couldn’t even fit our two luggages) but since there is only a few rooms and floors, you can easily take the stairs up and down.
Highly recommend if you are looking for something simple , clean and convenient.
Thank you for the A P Acropolis team for an incredible stay at your hotel.

The perfect place to stay in Athens with rooftop views of the Acropolis. This is where we enjoyed the best breakfast basket full of fresh fruit, breads, sandwiches, honey etc. We also enjoyed evenings here with a glass of wine. The manager Vasilios was amazing. He was so kind and attentive and he and all the staff made sure we enjoyed Athens to the full - which we did!!
We stayed in this gorgeous hotel for 5 nights in total. from the very beginning we were greeted by the most amazing and friendly staff who catered to our every need. The twin room with a double bed was great value as it also had an extra sofa bed.
The bathroom was in amazing condition and was kitted out with new toiletries and towels every day. As the days went on, we grew more and more impressed and in love with with the place.
Vasilios, the hotel manager has to be the most friendly, welcoming man we have ever met. He made our stay here so special for us. His charming, bubbly personality adds an incredible aura to the place. And he always had a beaming smile on his face.
The hotel is in a central, yet very safe location that is surrounded by a multitude of great bars and restaurants. As the hotel is just around the corner from the bars, it wasn't noisy at night-time, insuring that we have a perfect night sleep each time.
Every morning we could decide what time we wanted breakfast and it was served on the gorgeous rooftop with an an incredible view of the Acropolis. Each morning the breakfast was a little bit different but equally delicious and filling, there was a huge array of food, more than enough for the both of us!
The housekeeping staff came every day to the room and after they did so, it felt like walking into a brand new hotel room.
I cannot express how amazing our stay was here. This hotel and all the staff who work there have a special place in our hearts. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone. I cannot wait to come back here.

We stayed in room 401 which had a hot tub in the room with views of the Acropolis. The room was very well equipped with large walk in shower and balcony with rattan furniture. Each morning breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace in a wicker basket with a large variety of food. Far too much for us to eat so we took leftovers for lunchtime. The location couldn’t be better 2 min walk to the heart of the city but very quiet at night. There was a welcome gift on arrival and whilst there it was my husband’s birthday. The team bought him a cake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday in both English and Greek. Sophia who worked in the hotel was such a lovely lady. Extremely knowledgeable and had the perfect blend of chatting without imposing herself. The whole team working there were really helpful. The hotel was worth every penny and would happily stay again if we returned. Don’t think about hiring a car everything is in walking distance and there is a metro straight from the airport

This hotel is everything we hoped it would be and a whole lot more. The staff very kindly arranged for a late night taxi from the airport for us and served us the BEST breakfast ever the next morning. Our two bedroom apartment was furnished to a really high standard and the sweet treats and notes left by the staff really showed how much they cared about us having a great time in Athens. Honestly, there is absolutely nothing we can say to speak highly enough of this hotel and the staff there. Thank you!
