Super rude receptionists, they never smile (3/4) and always look annoyed when u ask them for something, as if you are bothering them. No airco in my room, balcony but with a pointless view on other inside appartments. Walls really thin, i could hear my neighbour snorling. Room and lobby phones didnt work for outside calls. The Hotel had some 1900 charms though

The Xenophon Hotel it`s a simple and modest hotel, ideal for short or long stay in business trips. The rooms are very simple, the bedrooms are very small, the balcony is issential for the hot nights in Athens.

Staff was really good and friendly, the rooms were clean and comfort (especially the ones on the 6th floor) nice view as well. The breakfast was also ok, enjoyed it. Another plus is the parking and the security guards. Will go again, for sure.

An old hotel but room was clean - plus point Wi-fi was quite strong Lift was small and they need to use a 'luggage escalator' to transfer our bags up the stairs - quite cumbersome No drinking water provided however at least they have a kettle in the room Ample sitting areas in the lobby Dinner and breakfast - average

We were there at beginning of August(3-6). Not the first time, not the last for sure! In general was a nice hotel and very clear! The room 418 was very nice! It is in a very good spot! Not at train side or the highway on the other side, very close to the elevator! The stuff was also nice. Especially the barwoman the brunette. I think Maria was here name.!! Omg i can't remember..... Anyway! She was amazing, and very king! She makes one of the best Greek coffees i've ever had! She should try also! Free wi-fi everywhere..... That's nice touch! The bad things for me was 1st the buffet! I was working also as a waiter in a 4* hotel for 3 years, and i know how a buffet i suppose to be! That buffet needs some upgrade! Only 1 kind of eggs? Really? My mom wanted a Greek coffee but, we had to wait about 5-10 min till we see a waiter.. oo why they are so serious! The 2nd bad for me was the blankets at the room! They are a little bit old! I noticed, most of the room was new, but the toilet not! That means they upgrade the hotel slowly slowly, so the old blankets we leave one day...... …
