Hello to our dear friends at the Casa Branca. We were due to make our 7th visit to your wonderful hotel in early July this year. It is with great sadness that I cannot see this happening and we are both devastated, this will be the feelings of many of your other regular guests, some who we see every year in July when we visit. I think my 9th or 10th visit. The staff are kind and always cheerful, the room is fine and the surroundings are picturesque. I can strongly recommend it. I now look forward to my next visit. Funchal is a lovely city and there are many restaurants which makes the choice of locations for evening meals difficult.

We have been visiting Madeira for over 20 years and our stay at Casa Branca was the best yet. We agree with all the five star comments. Funchal was preparing for coronavirus lockdown but the staff were focused and cheerful despite the uncertainty about their future employment. In particular the food was superb, beautifully presented. It is a tranquil oasis and the dawn chorus and afternoon birdsong was wonderful.

We spent a relaxing week in February at this lovely hotel. We had a superior room overlooking the gardens which was very well appointed and had everything you could possibly need. The room was spacious with a comfortable sitting area and a large bathroom with bath, walk in shower and double wash basins. There was a welcome gift of fresh fruit and the mini bar was restocked very day with complimentary soft drinks and water. Breakfast was a feast with every thing you could wish for including a freshly cooked menu. We spent a lot of time on the terrace outside our room relaxing in the sun and watching the Monarch butterflies. I enjoyed a late afternoon swim in the adult pool surrounded by banana trees. We also made use of the beautiful library, so quiet and peaceful. This hotel is obviously managed extremely well and the staff are well trained. Nothing is too much trouble and every request is greeted with a smile. You are made to feel welcome and special. We returned home refreshed and relaxed.…

Our third visit to this hotel did not disappoint, from the rooms to the gardens, to the pools, bar and restaurant this hotel is simply the best. What makes this hotel so special is the staff, they cannot be faulted in any way and go above and beyond to provide a service that is second to none. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Sorry I’ve no idea! Who knows? But whenever you get to go to this wonderful hotel you will love it.
No there was none when we were there in February. There is a piano in the Manor House lounge however this was not used.
In the Quinta bar there is just piped music. It is a very quiet hotel not the type where entertainment would be suitable.

Dear Sir or Madam, thank you for your enquiry. We have 2 swimming pools, both are in the outdoor, there is a larger one and a smaller one, this last is the adults only pool, both are heated at 25ºC all year round.
