Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. From the room with a view, to the staff, to the partridge pie at dinner everything was amazing. Would definitely return, this stay was one of our trip highlights.
The Lawrence Hotel is an old historic hotel but it is not a five star hotel. When you pay more you expect five star accommodations or at least what you pay for. Five star hotels generally have bath robes, wine glasses, tea and coffee service in room and decent water pressure.…
I and my wife spent S. Valentin's day and dinner at this hotel which we didn't know before. It was a great experience! The hotel environment, preserving antiques but with good confort, is excelent, exactly at the desired point. Front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly.
Our stay at Lawrence's was beyond comfortable. The staff, room, and public spaces were welcoming and I couldn't imagine a better choice. In the center of things yet quiet and peaceful. If Sintra is your destination then the Lawrence should be your hotel. Look no further.
We have stayed here for several years and always had excellent service from the registrations desk to the charming dining room, a lovely Portuguese-style room and bath, sometimes a veranda overlooking the beautiful ravine where you can hear the bells on sheep or goat collars. …
