I remember wandering around Lisbon and, you're right, it is a bit hilly, but I can't remember with any accuracy the gradient of the road on which the hotel is located. If I remember rightly, coming out of the hotel and turning left you might be going downhill, whereas turning right you'd be going up, but I can't recall a strong gradient if I'm honest, although yes, other parts of the city are a bit of a climb, but it was January when I was there, I don't really remember it that well. And being able-bodied, if there was a slight hill I probably wouldn't have noticed it that much.
