Eurostars Lisboa Parque offers a sea of attractions for our guests: it's a new, modern hotel with avant-garde lines, recently refurbished (in 2013) to offer the best quality service, with spacious rooms facing the exterior and located in one of the busiest Lisbon shopping districts, next to the Edward VII Park and Liberty Avenue. Some of the secrets that our guests like most are the gym, the comfortable beds, our full-scale breakfast and the possibility of a run through the park. The hotel occupies part of the renovated Sottomayor Palace. With its meticulous interior decoration and fine materials, the Eurostars Lisboa Parque comprises 83 double rooms with all the features of an urban, 4-star quality hotel. The restaurant serves Mediterranean-type cuisine and typical Lisbon dishes, plus a varied selection of Portuguese and Spanish wines. The hotel also provides two small reception lounges for meetings with capacity to hold a maximum of 60 people.

I stayed at Eurostars Lisboa during my stopover in Lisbon. Shortly after booking, their customer service rep reached out to me (months in advance) to see if I had any special requests, my only request was airport transportation, I really appreciated the gesture.
Upon arrival the driver was waiting and he was awesome, giving tips and places to visit during my short stay, but not talking too much, it was enjoyable conversation.
When arrived at the hotel about 1230, my room was not ready, which I was initially bummed about, but it turned out in my favor. The front desk told me the hotspots of where to eat and visit and they were all within reasonable walking distance. The location of the hotel is actually perfect, it’s situated right at the end of everything, so as you walk to the city center you see everything in the way and can also do some shopping.
The room was great, very spacious with a lovely balcony. The green bathroom, was a bit of a shock at first but it’s very nice. It’s not gawdy, just very green...it’s hard to explain.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient, not an overwhelming amount, but typical to what I’ve seen at other European hotel breakfast buffets. Which I rather enjoy.
If I ever revisit Lisbon I would definitely stay here again l.

We have spent a weekend at the hotel. It is close to a couple of metro stations and bus stops too, so you can jump on them and get to Old Town quickly and easily but you can walk there too, it takes c. 30 minutes.
The hotel is great, the stuff is helpful, the room is big, comfortable, the bathroom is big as well.
The breakfast was really delicious, different type of salami, cheese, tea, fruits and cakes.

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to several things. Our only complaint is that the heat was on and it was 18° C/65° F outside. The room was very hot and we had to keep the window open to let heat out. Our room faced an open air staircase which was frequently used by pedestrians. This meant a bright and noisy evening with the window open. Other than the temperature, the hotel was nice. Breakfast was good and included very typical breakfast food for Europe.

Staff was extremely helpful and booked taxi's for me and my family to wherever we needed to go to. The breakfast a good range and lovely, I do wish there was more different fruits there like seedless grapes and strawberries. The area is very central and a 7 min walk to the tube/underground station. Only issue was that the aircon was either broken or very low so me and my family would sweat a bit in the night.

Nice hotel well located nearby Praça Marques De Pombal. Tube station is nearby very convenient to get to downtown. Good value, most of the rooms in the 3rd floor has a nice terrace. The only downside is the central heating system but that is common around Europe, rooms can get too warm though.

The Hotel has a great decoration, some comfort and offers good amenities in general, although I do not consider them to be suitable for a 4* classification.

The air conditioning in the hotel room and corridors is terrible, as was the attention given to us, customers. When we arrived at the room we found very hot air and we set the AC to 15°. We went out to explore the city and when we returned, late, we found the room to be very hot. It was already late and we preferred not to call reception, the solution found was to turn off the AC and open the window to cool the room, and that's what we did. The next day we mentioned this fact to the receptionist and the answer we got was that the AC had been broken for some time and the refrigeration was not working, having the opposite effect, that is, when we lowered the temperature it would increase. This could have been avoided if they had informed us of this situation at check-in. The way they told us that morning, and without an apology for the situation, was really inappropriate.

Regarding breakfast, there is actually some variety, but still poor for a 4* breakfast. The service was not at all attentive. At first we didn't find anyone at the entrance to the room to say good morning or guide us around the room. The tables were not fully set, some were missing cutlery, others were missing napkins, so choosing a table for us to sit at was not easy. We had to take what was missing from other tables to make ours. Later, an employee appeared to clean the tables, without even a smile, nor a form of greeting to the customers who were also arriving.

It was indeed a less good experience given the lack of perception of the customer's needs and the poor breakfast service.
However, the location of the hotel is great and the receptionists are somewhat friendly.

I just came back from a stay where we spent 2 nights and it was the worst 4 stars I’ve ever had in my life

The hotel is aging and fresh (see photos) the rooms are poorly insulated and you can hear traffic outside....
We also had a problem with the toilet flush that remained in our hands.
Not to mention that none of the doors of the men’s toilet at the reception close!

I pass on the bedding which is in a very poor condition, on the pillows too soft and on the fact that I never got from the reception eye patches to sleep.
In the rooms no goodies available not even a pair of slippers.

We stayed in room 219 from October 25th to 27th via a booking site; I don’t know if it was the fact that we went through this central booking that made us have the worst possible room, but in any case, a room of this state at 150 euros a night is an intolerable price.

Breakfast is not worth more than the 12 euros charged, the bacon is barely cooked, the scrambled eggs are very dry, the boiled eggs are overcooked.
Juices are not fresh but are good

Thank God Veronica at breakfast was lovely, as well as the young person who made our check out, otherwise this stay would have a fiasco all over the line.

Bref
I will NEVER go back to this hotel again and recommend it all the way

My wife and I spent four nights at this property. First the positives: convenient location close to metro line, welcoming reception, clean and spacious rooms. The negatives: I expected more than one bottle of water for my 4 night stay and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. No variety and everything was cold even as early as 20 minutes after breakfast started. The hot items were not kept heated even if they were in chafing dishes! In addition the toaster was out of order and the kitchen staff would not make toast and all four days I was told - “no toast, toaster broken”. The same was true of the coffee machine that served coffee that was at best lukewarm. As for hot water for tea one got a ration of one mug full at a time. Talking of mugs, there was a shortage of clean mugs and tea spoons every morning! I raised all the above with the reception staff on my second day there, but to no avail. Tip - if you do decide to stay here, don’t take the breakfast option! Expected better from a four star hotel.

Terrible service at reception... they don't have the slightest idea of customer service. I rented 11 rooms for a group for 8 days and the entire time I had complaints from my guests. Oh... and they only give you water on the 1st day of your stay.
Its disastrous bar with no variety of drinks..

Hi, Wi-Fi is available in the bedrooms as well as in the public areas. It worked well during my stay. I don’t remember if coffee/tea machines were in the rooms. Enjoy Lisbon!

Hello. How much are cabs/taxi's to the main city?
Answer from ana_bella10543

Hi Mark. Where are you trying to go? Lisbon is the main city. Honestly, the Portuguese subway is VERY VERY easy to use. I am from NY and I can tell you it is nothing like the one here. In Portugal there are 4 lines. They are all named by colors. The system is fairly new, SIMPLE to use. Very safe and VERY clean. The machine's to buy the tickets are in English and there are attendants to help in case you need help. They speak good English. From Exe the subway line is right up the street. The hotel people speak good english and can give you a map and explain it all to you. In terms of the cabs to the hotel from the airport. About 15 euros. However, if I were you once you are on the line the get the cabs. There are traffic and cab police that assign the people to the cabs, Ask one of them. "How much to Marques de Pompal" which is the area of Lisbon that Exe is in. He will tell you but it is about 15 Euros. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, let me know. I was born in Portugal and visit every summer :-)
