Great accommodation near Pink Street. Matches the pictures. Everything is new and clean. Apartment 4B is very large and bright. Lovingly and stylishly furnished. There is a fully equipped small kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine and even an iron. In the bathroom there are lots of useful utensils from toothbrushes and cotton buds to a shaving kit and even a small sewing kit. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were also available. The room was cleaned daily including small gifts in the form of sweets/pastries. Very quiet despite the direct location on Pink Street thanks to soundproof windows and additional wooden doors in front of the windows. Earplugs are also provided, but the party noise is only very muffled when the windows are closed. There is a functioning air conditioning system. Bonus: a candy bar on each floor with gummy bears and nuts/dried fruit.

The House on Pink Street, specifically apartment 5B, was wonderful! It was huge- plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids, 10,13,15. There was an upstairs where the kids basically had their own apartment with sleeping space, table space, and a bathroom and vanity area. Downstairs had a private bedroom and bathroom, kitchenette, with a washer that was really appreciated! There was a tv space/sitting area with table too. Joana welcomed us and walked us around the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know, including the window shades that blocked out the noise from busy pink street. She provided ear plugs for everyone, which none of us needed, even on a Saturday night. Three of our mornings she provided a treat- jelly and crackers, homemade pastel de nata and grapes. The fridge was stocked with water and soda too. The best part was that the house on pink street and a nearby hotel Corpo Santo, are sister hotels and we were able to go to Corpo santo for snacks, waters, and 24 hour coffee. The doormen knew us :-) they provide walking tours and wine tasting that we never took advantage of but we could have. Joana was just lovely- checking in on us and providing insight to questions we had. She helped make our experience one to remember. The area does get busy at night with a party crowd but even with my kids with us, I never felt unsafe. I will return to Lisbon one day and I would definitely stay at the house on link street again! (Another plus is the location close to time out market and many tuk tuk tours)

After booking, the hotel manager reached out over whatsapp to greet me and offer assistance with any questions I might have had about Lisbon.

Before arrival, they helped provide a highly detailed list of travel options for me on how to reach the hotel location including an approximation of how much it would cost to cab there from the airport (10-15 euros) as well as offer to arrange a private hotel transfer if I wanted.

When arriving, check in was seemless. The design was modern and homey. And when I got to my room, I was surprised with cupcakes, a branded tumbler, and a hand written note to welcome me. The room was clean, spacious, pretty much a studio. Came with ironing board, toaster, microwave, washing machine, hangers, lots of towels, bath robe, and all the other basics. A bottle of water and sparkling wine was also provided. Daily room service was also available. Outside the room they left some gummy sweets and nuts to help myself to. And midway in my stay, the hotel packed some gummies for me and left it with a printed note on the history of the gummy candies (a most unexpected and pleasant surprise)

The place was well located in the centre of Lisbon on the Pink Street. It was a very good base as I could easily get to Cais Sodre and Santa Apolonia to make day trips to Cascais and Porto. And I was able to reach most locations with ease given the lovely public transport access (train, tram, bus). Most points of interest were already in walking distance.

Despite being on pink street, and having provided some ear plugs - the double glazed windows meant that sound from the streets was limited. It was not too noisy for me and I did not need the ear plugs that they provided for free. The ear plugs were pleasantly also pink to fit the theme of the hotel brand.

Overall an excellent stay that exceeded my expectations. I did not know what to expect since it was still new. But would certainly recommend or stay again if I come visit again.

The House on Pink Street offers exceptional lodging in Lisbon's downtown center, just steps away from the iconic Pink Street and close to Chiado's shopping and theaters. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and escorted to a beautifully renovated apartment, immersing us in the local ambiance. Joana and Veronica provided impeccable hospitality, akin to a luxury 5-star hotel experience. The thoughtful amenities included a delightful assortment of fruits, jams, cookies, biscuits, mini cupcakes, coffee pods, and a doorstep breakfast service. Despite the bustling nightlife of Pink Street, we enjoyed two peaceful nights in the contemporary and stylishly decorated apartment. Notably, the bathroom featured quality toiletries and a full glass door, a welcome departure from the flooding issues encountered in other European hotels during our month-long trip.

We had an amazing 3 night stay here, and although we wouldn’t normally bother with reviews we just had to spread the word about the extraordinary service here. We stayed in a studio apartment with kitchenette dining table, sofa bed, bedroom, and bathroom. Fully equipped with iron, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine etc. The fridge is stocked with beer, soft drink, and water free of charge. Free water, sweets and fruit can be picked up at any given moment from the communal areas also.
The stay was made memorable by the Manager Joana, who stayed in touch throughout the trip via WhatsApp, providing local tips and guidance wherever needed. Joana went above and beyond handing us a birthday cake for my sons 18th birthday. Although our check in time was 3pm, Joana made sure it was ready hours before this due to us attending the national football game that day. We were also given the opportunity to order a free breakfast delivered to our door once during our stay and the quality of the produce was fantastic. Every suggestion Joana gave was wonderful and we were reassured throughout our stay.
The location is a nightlife location, but window shutters do an excellent job at blocking the noise out allowing for a comfortable stay, but you are supplied ear plugs if you are an especially light sleeper, we didn’t need them. The apartment is located one road away from its sister hotel, Corpo Santo a luxury boutique hotel, which allows you the use of their facilities, including free ice cream and pancakes from the reception, a free walking tour of the city and the use of the spa. You can leave your bags here and freshen up on the last day of your trip once you book out of the apartment. The sister hotel also had fantastic staff with helpful tips on where to get the tram without the crowds. There is lots of food and drink near by including the Time Out Market and a short walk to the main squares, with so many other local neighbourhoods close by to discover.

Pedro's small, pretty hotel is within walking distance of the Cais do Sodre metro station. The location is super central. The rooms are completely new and lovingly furnished with a complete kitchenette and inventory (even a dishwasher and washing machine). We were even able to order breakfast to our room: Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, etc., everything is there. The service was unique.
We had 4 wonderful days in Lisbon and can really only recommend this hotel.
Thank you, dear Pedro, for the great hospitality 🫶

I'm so pleased with my stay at the House On Pink Street! The room (I got the studio) was amazing and spacious. It included a full kitchen with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, sink, a microwave, a range, a small convection oven, and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom had a double-sized stall shower (and a scale, which was a small nice-to-have). Lots of lights available all over the room, with individual switches for each so I could customize my lighting.

And the concierge staff! Omg you guys, these people could not do enough to help me. They responded to Whatsapp messages typically within minutes. They arranged a taxi for me and helped me explain to the taxi driver what I needed, since I don't speak Portuguese. At one point I messaged asking if "at some point today" someone could bring some more sugar packets to my room. I figured when the maid did up my room, she'd drop them off. Nope. Five minutes after I sent my message, João showed up at my door with a huge bag of sugar packets and told me to take as many as I wanted.

There was a welcome basket of small snacks (crackers & jam, potato chips, etc) and complimentary water, soda, and beer in the fridge when I first got to the room, and daily small treats (one day it was apples, the next pasteis de nata) were left in the room while I was out.

I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the reciprocal benefits HoPS has with its sister hotel, which was a pity because they sounded great.

This hotel wasn't cheap, and it was honestly more luxurious than I strictly needed, so if you're budget-conscious, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you want luxurious-yet-homey with gold-star support staff, I can't recommend this hotel enough.

The location is very good, the service is attentive, the room is very clean, the bed is clean, it is located in the city center, it is a very good B&B, it is very close to the attractions, within walking distance, there are a lot of delicious food nearby, and the most important thing is that the apartment is really great Very clean, probably newly renovated, the equipment is new, complete and very warm. The staff are also very nice and enthusiastic. Perhaps because we had children again during the New Year, they gave us gummies every day and let us drink soda in the refrigerator. There was also a washing machine and dryer so that we could wash and dry clothes immediately when we came back on a rainy day. On the last day, they found out that we had a train at 3pm, so they directly extended our room check-out until 2pm. Thank you very much. If you come to Lisbon again, you will definitely stay here again. However, friends who are booking a room, remember to contact the front desk (email or WhatsApp) in advance about the check-in time, because it is a fixed-time front desk, and someone will wait for you there until you make a reservation.

What is true hospitality?

When I arrived at The House on Pink Street, I was crabby, tired, hurting, and frustrated by traffic.
We were greeted by our host, Pedro, who instantly changed my world. What a generous man with a warm smile! A bottle of chilled champagne, a fresh bucket of ice, and so much more that I wanted to move in or marry him The room is elegant and comfortable, the location is hot, and the building is well soundproofed to let one sleep through the youngsters having fun. This experience is what you hope for (and usually do not find). Pedro helped us become relaxed and comfortable and was so authentic in his concern for our comfort…he even parked our car! I’m loyal for life! I will return to Lisbon to stay HERE. We went from cantankerous to delighted in a few short moments. This little hotel is a gem and you will enjoy it.

Our experience staying at this hotel was absolutely amazing. Pedro, the owner and manager, has a PhD in hotel management and guest services. He speaks 5 languages fluently. Not only was the cosy and spotless apartment we stayed in perfectly appointed with every amenity and convenience one could possibly imagine and many one couldn’t—such as bathrobes, earplugs, fresh local pastry and champagne! Pedro took exceptional care of us during our 2 night stay. He parked our car upon arrival and personally escorted us to a wonderful local restaurant and introduced us to the owner who took excellent care of us as well. Pedro is also a warm and charming human being. It was an absolute privilege to meet him and experience his over the top hospitality.

If you are lucky enough to find the House on Pink Street for your visit to Lisbon as we did, you are truly blessed!
