The Convent Square Lisbon, Vignette Collection by IHG enchants guests with its tastefully decorated interiors and peaceful atmosphere, complemented by modern amenities. While the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and quiet comfort, a few reviewers mention they are on the smaller side with limited storage.
The hotel's prime location earns high marks for being close to attractions and dining, yet still offering a tranquil retreat. Although the gym and pool might be compact, the hotel's attentive service and overall cleanliness are frequently lauded, contributing to its reputation for good value.

Hotel's Favourite
The Hotel is, logistically located in the center of Lisbon within walking distance of many points of interest. Upon arrival, we had an outstanding service, from the beginning Ana Gabriel checked us in our room was ready. Ana Prieta, the concierge was there to help us out with tour options and other sightseeing in the area as well as places to eat. The first option was the excellent hotel restaurant.
Our 7-day stay was an adventure, thanks to Ana Prieta who suggested a private tour with Joaquim Fonseca to Fatima. Joaquim was superb, he also took us to Nazare and Obidos. Joaquim’s full of knowledge of the areas (walking Google). Our day was so incredible.
Also went on TUK TUK, and Ana Prieta got us Francisco Fonseca who was terrific and full of knowledge.
We are very grateful to your staff Ana Gabriel, Ana Pimenta, Diana, Ana Rita, Rachel, Rita, Marco, and Ana Maria from the restaurant, and also to housekeeping, Catarina who always had our water, coffee, and our room clean. If we left anyone out, please consider yourself included this was a team effort from the day we arrived until we flew back home.

We had a great stay at the Vignette Convent Square. The location was perfect, centrally located with easy access to transit (trains, metro, buses, trams). We had two rooms for our family of two adults and two teens and they were both very comfortable and clean, with slightly different and interesting layouts.
The overall ambiance of the hotel was top notch - the original cloister and big interior square helped showcase the history of that location, but the furnishings were also lush and welcoming.
We made use of the plunge pool each day before dinner to cool off. Be warned, however, that the floor tiles in the pool area can be quite slippery when wet and the pool was a bit on the cooler side, but we found it refreshing.
The best feature, though, was the staff. Everyone we had contact with was very friendly and helpful, and clearly wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible. The doormen were quick to help with luggage upon arrival and always greeted us with a friendly smile. The front desk employees (in particular Ana Rita) made us feel welcome from the start, and were very helpful in helping us navigate the transit system to where we wanted to go.
We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is brand new (believe it opened in May) and offers a great value for a trip to Lisbon. The hotel’s central location made it easy to get around to major destinations within the city without transportation (if desired). Room are very modern and luxurious, a benefit of a hotel which opened in 2023. Morning cleaning is a deep clean and turndown service is a nice touch and clearly done with effort, with attention to details as small as closer all the large window panels after sundown. We had king room with the large terrace facing the convent courtyard—the room itself was large and the terrace was probably 1/2 the size and was awesome to have. The team is extremely attentive to the guests and wanted to ensure our happiness. Manager Joao, concierge Rita, and hostess Sonia were standouts.

From the time we set foot in this hotel, we were greeted with a welcoming, friendly staff who did all they can to ensure we had the best stay. We got there later in the evening, tired, and hungry from our journey from the US and within a half hour, we were sitting at Gambrinus enjoying an awesome seafood feast arranged by the 2 "Ritas" at the front desk (they were awesome BTW - so helpful!) The hotel had just newly opened, and all was so clean and nice... even the smell was that new smell! The king-sized bed had crisp linens and the towels in the bathroom (with a glass enclosed rain shower) were so soft with nice bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom amenities were luxurious. The staff was so incredibly attentive that they dropped off freshly made desserts (almond cookies, macarons, chocolate covered strawberries) and a handwritten note every night. The location was excellent and within close proximity to restaurants, shopping, and the elevator/lift. 100% highly recommended and cannot wait to return.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Lisbon and is a tasteful development within an old convent building. The hotel is spotless from reception to top floor Gym/Pool/Sauna area and is very tastefully decorated.
Every member of staff gave exceptional customer service and nothing was too much to ask.
Our deluxe room was lovely with everything you'd expect from a hotel of this standard. The King Size bed was very comfortable, the bedding was amazing, luxury toiletries, a pay minibar and the aircon maintained a pleasant temperature. Although our room overlooked a side street there was no external noise.
Finally, the included cold buffet breakfast was substantial with cooked options available at no additional. We also used the restaurant for an evening meal and again the quality of food was 10/10.
If I ever revisit Lisbon this is the only place i'll stay.

This is a nice, new and modern hotel that just opened a few months ago. They are doing a great job. Everyone from the front desk, concierge, restaurant servers, and housekeeping always had a smile on their faces. I could tell that they truly wanted to make sure our stay was wonderful.
The rooms are small but we were comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to have the bedroom slippers sealed in a plastic bag so patrons know that the slippers are brand new. Ours looked like they were previously worn so we did not even bother to use it.
We always looked forward to breakfast every morning in their beautiful restaurant. Food and service were good. We had a great stay.

A new hotel in town open only for a few weeks prior to our stay. In my opinion it will become one of the top tier accommodations in Lisbon. Stayed with my adult family for a week. Centrally located on flat ground (if you know Lisbon you will know that pulling your bags up a vertical incline to your hotel is no fun). Staff very accommodating and full of helpful information eagerly given. My room had a double bed in a good sized room with a great glass enclosed shower. Other family stayed in a room with a king sized bed, the room here being smaller. Room was always cleaned and in good appearance after returning from our activities of the day. Did not eat in the restaurant except for breakfast which had enormous array of food possibilities. Also made use of the atrium in the evening to discuss the events of the day over a snack and coffee. My only negative is that we could not open the locked windows and had to make do with the AC.

Some pros and some cons, the Rooms are small, even with a double upgrade we barely felt any privilege with 26sqm, there was a tiny closet with 4 smallish drawers, we couldn't unpack much, so rooms aren't designed for long stay. Bathroom in 511 was big enough to put store luggages inside.
However they are really soundproofed, but our view was very obstructed, so not a room to remember.
Service is friendly, very good, but they always gave me the feeling of doing the things only when asked and from the tip of their fingers. During a rainy week (Yes it can rain by the ocean) they were out of umbrellas. A product that cost 5€ a pop, they should be able to go buy 10 more next door.. so not what I call service at 5* level.
Room cleaning is top, bed and beddings are of the best quality, room is totally soundproofed.
The pool is a let down, at best, it is a large jaccuzi made out of stone with a 1m depth, that can accommodate 4 to 6 people, other 4* centric venue offer much better installations, such as the gym that was the size of our bathroom, with 3 equipments. Don't count on it to do much sport, nor to swim.
The common area are splendid, it is a distinctive venue.
Breakfast is OK, the buffet is good but nothing extravagant, a la carte is far better. It was hardly possible to get a late check out despite being a top customer of the chain, but the location is to die for.
All in all, it is worth staying 2 nights max here, we have had better and more comfy hotels in Lisbon, on Liberdade for exemple.

+1
This hotel was very quiet, which was surprising given how close it is to everything! The top floor has a wading/plunge pool (not for full swimming), cold rain showers, a small gym and a sauna. My bed was very comfortable with huge fluffy pillows. the room comes with a nespresso maker, sugar, and tea - you’ll need to ask for milk if you want it in the morning. There is an in room fridge with alcohol and water (for a fee) but had enough space for medicines etc.
I have not yet tried the restaurant, but the omelette I ordered from room service was good.
as far as the location, it was only my first full day in Lisbon yesterday, but I was able to walk to the Chiado Street, the tower elevator, the beer museum, the waterfront, and about 1 million restaurants along the way.
The staff at the front desk were especially gracious, helpful, and memorable.
Note: I am a woman traveling solo and felt very safe.

This was our third time in Lisbon but first time in this hotel. We got to know it though the IHG website. The hotel is a genius renovation of a historic site. It was originally part of historic church, which shares a wall with the hotel. The taxi drops you off about 100-200 yards from the hotel since it is a pedestrian area. We would like to give the hotel 5 stars for two main reasons:
Location: the hotel is in the middle of the town where all the action is. It is within a walking distance to many attractions and activities. In fact, we were able to climb to the Castle (Castelo) in about 30 minutes walking (although some spots are steep climb).
Staff: the front desk staff and concierge staff are amazing (so many names, such as Rita, Rachel,...) were very helpful and will go the extra-mile to make you feel at home.
The breakfast is great. During the off-season, it is not a buffet style but the staff provide service at your table. Yet, you feel that it is very much like a buffet. They bring so many goods to your table as part of the breakfast, including juices, cheeses, smoked salmon, and baked goods.
The only thing that needs improvement is probably the gym. It is nice but small size with only 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and 1 biking machine. No wall clock or TV. The pool is very small and is really a dipping pool. The small sauna is nice.
Our room was a grand room facing the cloister and it was very quiet. The hotel has great sound insulation in its windows. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we will come back to the hotel in future trips.

Not sure
the hotel itself is very quiet. We didn't see any homeless people or drug addicts. It was no busier than a normal city centre. We found it convenient for shops restaurants etc. we felt safe walking out of a nighttime (we were always back in the hotel by 11.30pm) Excellent hotel.
