Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights , location is theatre area , central for trains /trams & bars / restaurants. We stayed in room 307 which was a good size room overlooking the swimming pool on the rear of the hotel. Mini fridge in the room , nice touch with toiletries in the bathroom , shower was very powerful, walk in shower so good size . Hairdryer in room which was powerful for hotel room and no need to take your own , safe in room too . Breakfast was included in the price , good choice on offer and lots of staff on hand . The breakfast area is quite small but the hotel suggests you allocate a time you will have your breakfast which is good idea . The staff all very friendly , little bar area was nice for a drink after a busy day out. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights and was pleasantly surprised with the room I had booked. We were given one of the refurbished rooms that looked to the back of the hotel /pool that was lovely and quiet. The room had a lovely large double bed and a separate room with coffee machine fridge etc.Bathroom was lovely with beautiful Portuguese tiles and huge shower. The room was serviced every day we were there and bed & towels changed daily. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, hot items were not hot, coffee wasn’t that great and items weren’t replenished.Ended up not having breakfast on the last morning. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first night as it was pouring with rain but again the meal was disappointing.Partner had steak sandwich and myself had club sandwich.Partner couldn’t eat his as the steak was so tough.Other than that the hotel is in a central location close to metro and other attractions and value for money. If I was to return to this hotel I would go room only.

This is a really wonderful hotel with fantastic people working at the front desk. We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of January into February and then for 1 last night before flying home on Feb. 14th. The hotel is on a pedestrian walkway with lots of restaurants and shops and activity and it is very near a theater where you can hear music. The prices are very reasonable and it's an old building with historic rooms. The included breakfast is excellent and the waitstaff is also so helpful and nice. All of the staff we encountered at the hotel were so nice and helpful and gave us recommendations and we had wonderful conversations with them. There is a pool but we did not use it as it is a little too cool in January and February. We would absolutely stay here if we ever came back as it was also in a great location to walk to different areas of the city. And when we checked back in for our last night on Feb. 14th, our room was decorated with swans and red hearts and candies. Such a nice touch! Overall, just a wonderful place with great people that made our stay truly memorable.

Fantastic location for this beautiful hotel. Easy to get to the main sights. The journey from.the Airport is easy - use the metro to San Sebastian and change for the blue line towards sta apolonia. Get off at Restaurades. Turn left towards Hard Rock Cafe, down the street, turn right . We had room 406 which was really beautiful and spotlessly clean. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is busy and there is lots of choice. I couldn't have picked a better choice

Pros: great (flat) location for seeing Lisbon, very friendly and competent staff, tasty breakfast buffet with many, many choices included, room was cleaned, new towels supplied and beds made daily. Very clean. Hotel restaurant also offers dinners plus there are many restaurants nearby. Cons: could provide more storage space in room. Also it’s located on a pedestrian only corridor so you have to walk about a 1/2 block for taxi pickup and drop off. We’d definitely stay there again.

Location is excellent close to rail and easy access. Hotel is in a pedestrian area only after 11 am, which adds to the ease. Rooms are good and breakfast is very good, you select a time slot as breakfast room is not large and this ensures there is no waiting. Staff are very good and obliging Restaurant on site but the hotel is in the midst of restaurant heaven, so did not eat at hotel The theatre’s are in the same street for live shows Would stay again 5th floor rooms at front of hotel have sloping roofs and are not suitable for tall people

Fine hotel in a great location . 5 minutes walk from the metro. there must be at least 20 restaurants within 5 minutes walk of hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff Large clean comfortable rooms and linen changed every day . Good selection at breakfast although there could be a better choice on breads overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel in good location and very clean, although actual rooms allocated were small and nothing like the website pics. Hotel not, however, sufficiently customer- focussed. We specifically asked for quiet rooms. One was next to the lift and the other directly above a noisy street. Neither had adequate blackout from bright street and corridor lighting. We booked in January 2023 and at no point between then and September 2023 had the hotel contacted us about a problem with room allocation/ meeting our requests. I overheard other guests at check-in also complaining that the room choices they thought they had booked were changed without any notice. No amount of polite justifications from the management nor complementary drinks/meals could compensate for this basic lack of attention to our requests.
