Detailed Reviews
If you are booking a trip to Lisbon be aware that there are actually 7 Holiday Inn locations across the city. The location I stayed at is officially called Holiday Inn Lisbon – Continental but Campo Pequeno is one of the more popular locations for people doing short stop overs due to it’s proximity to the Humberto Delgado Airport. It’s just 15-20 minutes away from the airport by taxi and far enough of our town that you avoid much of the traffic the city is infamous for…. but it’s very important you double check the destination before getting into the taxi to the wrong Holiday Inn that can be easily done.
I found the hotel check-in process fast and efficient and the team were very friendly. They advised that yes breakfast was included in my booking. I later found out that this wasn’t correct and they said I had to pay for breakfast so I skipped it. Breakfast looked fairly standard for a European hotel so I ended up grabbing several freshly based Pastel de nata’s from Upal – União Panificadora da Amadora a small little bakery located in Falagueira on my way to find some street art.
Good way to start any day is to find out the shower pressure is amazing and I’d stay here again just for the shower. Unfortunately from 6am I could hear the neighbours phone constantly ringing and ringing so the last few hours of my sleep-in was a bit rough. Also around 6am I started to hear the intermittent sound of the planes landing/taking off from Lisbon Airport combined with the neighbours phone that was still ringing made it hard to get more sleep so I got up early. One downside to staying in an older property is often the TV was the size of a computer monitor and I never bothered to check if it was actually any good. But upside Wi-Fi was great so watched Netflix on my phone instead…
As always the complementary bottle of water in the room was a nice touch. They also had a suit press but I didn’t have the need to use it. Air-conditioning was OK and I turned it off after a few hours in the evening once the room had cooled down. My view from the 5 floor was the back of several buildings which wasn’t that inspirational. It was nice to have two usb powerpoints by the bed but the room could have had more ceiling lighting.
Overall a very comfortable bed and a reasonable hotel but a bit pricey at €149/night with no breakfast.

Hotel's Favourite
Went to Lisbon for a short spring getaway with the family and this hotel did not disappoint.
We arrived quite late, at about 23.30 hours but the check in was smooth, staff was polite and recommended that deliveries can be made to the hotel as restaurants were mostly closed and far. We were starving.
Room was spacious, neat and got all the usual basic amenities however the only bit where they could have done something better was to replace our kettle as it was not working, we were told to get a hot water from the bar so I have to carry a up of hot water from the bar to my room. Also I requested hot water but was given a tea and got charged for it. Not a big issue, perhaps language barrier. I am more into the replacement of kettle at least.
Breakfast was good, it was not as hectic and food was delicious.
Location was great, near to supermarkets, shopping outlets and 5 minutes walk from tour bus bus stops.
Overall stay was near perfect. Cheers!

Stayed here twice for a total of three nights. Nice lobby with an ok bar, and a coffee shop in the floor underneath the lobby. From floor four it is possible to access a small gym which is situated at floor three. The rooms er good size, same is the bath rooms. Lived on seventh and tenth floor and they looked the same. Water pressure is excellent and the water is warm instant as it should be. USB ports beside an excellent bed. If i shall say something negative it must be that the temperature was at least 25 degrees but its possible to turn down the temperature or open the window. If traveling with children notice that windows can be fully opened. I stayed here in business and as a business hotel it is superb. Taxi drivers know where to go from the airport, and there are always some parked outside the hotell. Drive from airport to hotell 8-10 euros and 7-9 between the hotel and centrum (Baixia) Looking forward too my next visit here.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located even though it isn't central but easily accessible via the metro. Also Uber rides to any of the city's main attractions are very affordable.
Breakfast is very rich and exceeded our expectations with a hot buffet, fruits, breads and pastries and even a very decent GF selection.
The hotel staff was very welcoming and made every effort to make our stay pleasant

The beds were comfortable, including the extra futon. Excellent breakfast. The staffs were nice and friendly. We asked for a new bottle of soap, and the housekeeping quickly handled our request. The location was good, close to Metro station Campo Pequeno. We would have appreciated complimentary water bottles or water dispensers somewhere in the building, but it was a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Despite not having a pool or gym my recommendation is still 5*
Upgraded to Executive suite on arrival as my hubby did not asked whilst booking on line, I explained to a lovey staff member at the reception desk by the name of Irina Rocha and explained that it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary continued celebration. They upgraded us :)
We was so impressed, we have stayed in lots of Hotels for celebration such as birthday and our anniversaries. But this one was special 30th years!!!!
The staff were lovely and nothing was to small for them to change or do for us.
The room was fantastic and the bed mattress was so soft you sunk into the bed itself, the pillows were soft and fluffy, the room was clean and spacious.
We were so impressed we decided to have supper in the restaurant and the staff there were lovely too the waiter Anderson despite having little understanding of English, he was excellent in telling us what was on the menu with help from the head waiter, the food was lovely. Several metro's round the corner within walking distance, links to buses and 24 hour taxi service, 15mins from the airport, large shopping mall 5 mins walk away.

The hotel is very clean, the room cleaning service is very good. They gave us the room ahead of time and the lady who greeted us with white hair was very helpful and attentive. However; The room keys didn't work and we had to go downstairs to reprogram them. The day before leaving, coming up from being on the street all day, the keys failed again and we had to go down to have them programmed again. The TV count was not working, we notified the front desk and they agreed to send one. After 5 hours my husband went downstairs to look for it and it didn't work either because to turn it on and off you had to do it on the TV and changing the channels was a problem. They have a huge bathtub and I love taking baths after a day of hiking, because it can't be filled, it doesn't hold water. Today before 8.30 they were hammering and drilling somewhere above our room. Overall I give it 3 stars because overall the service having a problem in the room is not good but I have to say that the hotel is immaculate. If you don't mind walking you can go to the station between fields on foot and to a cafe on the corner. It has some restaurants nearby, but to go to the city center you must take a taxi or Uber.

I lived in this hotel for 3 nites only but i felt liked home. Start from the very nice Check In Counter staff who always say good morning and ask me how are you today? You can find the pictures of two ladies in my attachment.
Good location, good foods for breakfast. Clean room. And big lobby with many sofas.
Location is perfect you can find anything around the hotel such as bar, tapas, restaurants , pharmacy etc.
Very very recommended

Clean room, very quiet, great breakfast, yellow metro station 3 minutes walk away, Bolt ride to airport is about 5 Euro. About 10 minutes outside the conveniently located residential touristy areas which lead into the heart of Lisbon, I'd choose this location for my next trip. It surprised me in every way.

I stayed four nights on a long weekend leisure trip to see the city. I was very satisfied with the location, easy walking distance to public transportation and plenty of restaurants nearby. My room was clean and serviced daily. Staff at the front desk were all very helpful and all spoked excelent English. I inquired about a "hop on hop off" tour and they were able to explain the features, pick up location and I was able to buy my ticket at the front desk. Check in and check out was fast and easy. There is a very quaint lobby bar with great service and reasonble prices. I would highly recommend this hotel and I plan to stay there again on my next visit to Lisbon.
