The Hotel Baia was such a lovely place on the coastline of Cascais, which was a fishing village 25 years ago before its transformation into a much-desired vacational place. The Portugese people are a joy to be amongst. Such warm vibrant Souls. We have nothing but praise for the s

Average hotel in a perfect location in Cascais. Breakfast was great and everything is clean. Prices are considering the location great. Only thing which bothered that the pool was closed due to some renovation work.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location - as stated by so many reviewers. A sea view room is an essential for the complete holiday experience. Cascais is a sophisticated resort, the pearl of the Portuguese riviera. To Lisbon in 40 minutes by train and Sintra the same by bus with Estor

Thank you very much for your review. The piri-piri sauce is added to chicken afterwards in case someone does not like it. Next time please do ask the waiter for it. It tastes much better than tabasco! We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Nice staff, great location, only too much noice from the people on the streets at night, fantastic view on the bay in our room, quiet breakfastroom. It was a really good choice.
The only thing that was very bad was the weather but even then we enjoyed the view from the hotel.

Does the hotel provide refrigerators in the rooms?
No it doesn’t. They will give you a wine cooler of ice from the bar if you ask. We bought wine in the supermarket and had it on the balcony, nicely chilled.

Hi What’s the difference between a standard room and a superior room?
Not quite sure ! But aparently the superior rooms have a balcony with a graeat view, and come with a few extras amenities included like a dailly bottle of water in the room, and a couple of other itens which I don,t recall. Give them a cal, they are very friendly trustworthy and helpfull. And the location is unbeatable !

We have a standard room booked with sea view can anyone state that this also includes a balcony. As the appeal of the hotel is the outdoor views and seating area
All sea view rooms have balconies. These are classified as "Superior Sea View". If you have booked a "Standard Room" this refers to an inland facing room (NO SEA VIEW)! Please check your reservation and confirm with the Hotel's reservation department to make sure you get the room you want. If you have booked the wrong room it might not be possible to change on arrival as the Sea View Rooms are always the first to go. I hope this helps.

"The bayview is fantastic"
"Sea view rooms are worth the extra"
"Sea View rooms are breathtaking, but are much noisier. City view rooms still offer a nice view of Cascais but are much quieter."
"Avoid rooms on left hand side of building, particularly on weekends - you will not be able to sleep"
"Ask for a room with a view preferably at highest floors such as the 3rd or the 4th"
