Great hotel, clean modern rooms, I had one with balcony and sea views on the 2nd floor. Very friendly receptionists and also other staff (cleaners etc).
Prime location in the centre of Sagres, with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes around. Mareta beach is 5min away. ATMs and kiosk nearby. Great garden with sea views and lots of areas for chilling, even an outside jacuzzi. 15min walk to Sagres Fortaleza. Great restaurants nearby, all in walking distance.
You also get access to the Mareta Beach branch, which is 5min by foot and has a swimming pool overlooking the sea and a little bar. Very private with sun loungers etc. Very nice and good drinks.
Only “criticism”: breakfast is rather basic (although complete and sufficient : coffee, tea & juice, bread, pastry, yogurt, egg, fruit, ham/cheese, jam, honey, Nutella etc) but this may be due to Covid safety regulations.
Hotel is fitted with hand sanitizers throughout and felt safe.
I would be staying there again!

Mareta View was great. The views are incredible and we were so happy to walk into our room and find a patio with an amazing view of the ocean and cliffs, lounge chairs and all. After traveling for a week in some very crowded cities and walking 40+ miles, this was a very welcome space where we could retreat and have a couple of low key days.
The property is beautiful. They have many lounge chairs/beds in their courtyard area plus a hot tub. You can tell they work hard to take great care of the space.
Daily breakfast was included with our stay and there are quite a few really good restaurants around. The beach is a few steps and there is also a little trail behind where you can explore the cliffs. Also, the fort is about 1/2 mile away and you can easily walk to it. The property is in a great area of Sagres- center to everything you need and want to see but also the area is not too crowded.
The one thing to remember is this is an independently owned hotel in a remote area, so it just won’t hav the amenities of high end city hotels.
We thought it was great and really enjoyed our time here!

We really appreciated our stay in this nice, cozy and quiet hotel. Our room was in die second floor with nice views over the ocean. Breakfast was yummi, hotel staff was very kind and many restaurants are reachable within five minutes by foot. Thanks for all!

It is a Small structure, well maintained and managed with professionalism. Value added location, 2 steps from the beautiful beach of Mareta, with privileged views of the Pacific Ocean. The rooms although limited in size offer the necessary with a terrace x those with front sea view (highly recommended).
Breakfast can also be enjoyed outside close to the garden, well maintained and oriented on the sea.
Fresh produce and essential but satisfying choice.
The structure is well maintained and clean... sleep is guaranteed, thanks to the temperature and the "noise" of the sea.

The Mareta View B&B is a very small and fine accommodation and perfect for 2 people. Breakfast has everything you need. The room is also very small but is equipped with everything necessary. The staff is very friendly and open to any questions.
The location is very good because in a few minutes a beautiful beach is within walking distance. Likewise, you can watch a beautiful sunset at the lighthouse in 5-10 minutes.
I can only recommend this accommodation!

After spending a few nights over the pizzeria in the Mareta Beach Hotel, we decided to move to Mareta View, for the view, but also for a quieter room. The Mareta View is a bit more expensive than the Beach, but it is worth it! The balcony is a must, the beds are very comfortable and the small courtyard is well appointed. However, both breakfast are the same: fruits, bread, coffee, etc. Also, as in many European Hotels, there is NO room to put anything in the bathroom. What is the point of having a big bathroom if you have a minuscule counter and no shelves? But, all in all, a very good hotel. And the employees were very nice too!

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable and very clean and modern room and bathroom. Breakfast was also excellent, served in bright and airy room (or on the terrace) overlooking the very pretty garden at the back which has a path leading down to the bay. Highly recommended!

There are 3 Mareta hotels in Sagres and this is by far, the best. The rooms are decent size and the grounds are beautiful with several places to sit and enjoy the ambience/view. The breakfasts were good including cut up fruit, excellent pastries, and the ability to make one's own latte. Highly recommend.

Fantastic setting and location. Great communication pre-travel with property. On-site management very pleasant and helpful. Room comfortable and equipped well. Close to many restaurants and about the best sunset in the world is just minutes away. The bathroom was awful. It smelled of sewer gas and is outdated. The water pressure was very low, mildew in grout, no vent. Another traveler in the room below us asked if our bathroom smelled as theirs did, too.

What a charming bed & breakfast with breathtaking views! We had a delightful stay at this funky boutique b&b, enjoying the fantastic views, delicious breakfast, and convenient access to shops and restaurants.
The hosts were exceptionally nice. Each morning, we were treated to fresh coffee and a variety of delightful homemade pastries, fresh fruits and treats. Our room was cozy and uniquely furnished. In the evenings, we savored the views from the lovely porch, painted in shades of pink and orange. It was a perfect retreat, combining relaxation with local allure. Highly recommend!

Hi, Elizabeth,
Yes, it is. You have a good choice of restaurants and bars around, and there are also a few shops nearby, though you will have to go a bit further (by car or by bus, then) if you want to have access to a wider range of shopping facilities.
Regards,
EA
