Detailed Reviews
We spent one night here, though we'd said we'd stay for 3. The first day the next door neighbor's monstrous dog barked so loud we nearly jumped out of our skin. He continued to bark so long and so loud that we finally complained. The owner spoke with the dog's owner to no avail. So the next day we found another hotel and left. The owner apologized, and gave us our money back - in cash. The room was nice, though no view at all. Central location, private parking.

To reach the apartments, you have to follow the main hotel road, Comandante Matoso, till you reach the SPAR supermarket; the apartments are in the small road that starts between Spar and the Restaurante Carlos. The owner is very kind and friendly, he accepts credit cards (not so common in Portugal, for low-price accommodations) and he can always be found in the nearby shop. Our room was very quiet as we had asked, even being at the ground floor. The furniture, the appliances (fridge and microwave) and especially the bathroom looked brand new. The bathroom was unusually large and comfortable.
Only issue: the bedroom was not large enough…we had issues in accommodating our large baggage, but again the owner helped.
In the corridor we found a small set of books and magazines in different languages. Last but not least, the price for the room was the lowest we’ve found in Portugal; we’ve slept in 7 hotels/apartments in different cities.
Note: Sagres is a very windy place: good for windsurf and similar activities, but not for relaxing on the beach.

So far the only bad accommodation i have had in portugal, couldnt check in untill 4:00 because no one was around reception because they were asleep i was told. Booked a self contained apartment but would only give me a little room and not helpful staff trying to sort it out. Best thing about the stay is a good location with close to most things in town and checking out. Wouldn't recommend this place.

I was attended by supposed owners, very rude, lady I thought it would work at the hotel but I wouldn't understand this service by a tired employee at the end of shift since we arrived at 10pm, small room with very morbid details, hair and a lot of dirt in the bathroom "white is yellow" old bedding with holes, during the day no one to attend at reception. Second day cleaning done 5 minutes, take out garbage and wet the shower, the dust and dirt that was already there stayed like that, tiled bedroom walls, extinguish damp and mildew but the smell remains.
It's good to have a supermarket nearby where you can buy cleaning products to sanitize so you can take a shower without feeling so bad after walking.
Definitely not worth the price as I had to work before relaxing.
At check out when some room details were mentioned, everything was undervalued, without apology, they just asked for a credit card

A horrible place with horrible treatment. It is not recommended at all. Dirty and smelly and a lot of noise. The mattresses for the owner to sleep on. Ultimately a disaster. It's a shame that the owners destroy that beautiful land. They should also remove it from all pages due to misleading advertising.

Nice and clean room, fast checkin. The beds were big and quite comfy, bathroom clean, towels were provided. Good central location but not very busy street. Wifi worked well. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room which was very nice.
The TV was tiny and the remote did not work, there is limited parking in front of the hotel. There is a big parking 2min walk from the hostel. The reception is not clearly marked and there was no one when we arrived, however we got ahold of someone at the 1st floor and he called the owners.

Super nice staff, the rooms were a decent size and very clean. All the comodities (tv, fridge, microwave) in the room. The room was cleaned daily and the towels replaced. Nice wifi. Nice location. Best relation price/quality ever.

We stayed in twin room with a bathroom (tub type). Our room was equiped with fridge, electric cettle and microvawe. Coffee set is at the reception (aprox. 1 Euro for a capsule). Free parking is available on the quiet street. If the reception is closed check the shop at the entrance or call the owner.

I had to arrive early into Sagres and although check in is 3pm I managed to check in as soon as I arrived. The owner was very helpful, and the room had everything you could need... Fridge, microwave, the wifi was good. There is a Spar next door and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
For £19 a night, its excellent!!!
