Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic place to stay just outside Sagres’ center.

+ very friendly and helpful staff
+ exceptionally clean and spacious room and bathroom
+ small fridge in the room
+ in a quiet street just outside the center
+ a 10 minute or less walk will get you everywhere: restaurants, shops, beaches, supermarket
+ private parking facility

- nothing we can think of!

We visited in August ‘21, and the staff was really professional regarding Covid-19 regulations. Actually everywhere we came in Sagres the regulations were clear and abided by everyone.

Thank you very much for having us!

The accommodation is a few minutes' walk from the center and the beach. However, it is the perfect place if you are looking for peace and quiet. The host is very nice and recommended wonderful restaurants to us. Everything is clean and I can highly recommend it. The parking spaces in front of the house are also great.

We had a very pleasant stay here, the people here are very friendly and will give you a warm welcome.

The rooms are cleaned everyday, every time we came back after another great day everything was nice and clean.

The personnel is very friendly and will do their absolute best to make you feel welcome, all the ingredients for an amazing vacation are here.

This place is an absolute must to stay if you visit the stunning Sagres!

Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Well-kept structure with garden. Interiors with dated furnishings and a certain "old" air. New and functional bathroom (without bidet); king size double bed with very comfortable mattress. Kitchen equipped with utensils, fridge and freezer, microwave and toaster. Total absence of essential elements such as salt. Reception open only for some hours of the day. Weak WIFI. The terrace is very beautiful, even if the strong wind limits its use a lot.

We spent two weeks at Julio's, and found it a great base for our holiday. Our room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and functional kitchen, with a small balcony. The location is great, as it's a shortish (10 minute) walk to both Tonel and Mareta beaches, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as the big Intermarche supermarket. The garden is lovely - which is useful as it's where the WiFi works! Mara kindly lent us an umbrella to take to the beach, and had good advice about places to go. Thanks for a lovely fortnight!

It is in a calm area, like 5min drive from seaside. Nice garden, simple, but clean rooms, good quality for 2nights. We could use the common-kitchen (just next to our room), so we enjoyed sunshine and breakfast in the morning! We loved it! Receptionists are nice and helpful, showing around where best beaches are etc.

It was a very nice and clean room, big enough for the two of us. It was also very convenient we could use the kitchen and the plates, cutlery etc. so we could prepare our own breakfast (which we got at the supermarket nearby). Parking is okay, there's enough space. It's not located in the town itself, so you have to drive a couple of minutes to get there. Probably it's possible to walk there too, but to visit some of the highlights like the lifehouse it's recommended to have a car. Mara, at the reception, as well as the other family members, were very nice and kind and made you feel at home.

Nice place, especially their garden gives you a nice feel. Appartments are clean, well equipped with all the basics, just internet/wifi could be better. There is a barbecue area, which guests can use.
Location is quiet, and offers a parking lot. Most shops, restaurants are in walking distance.

We had a wonderful 11 days at residencia julio. This is a family owned hotel/ Apartment. They are really nice and helpful people. The Apartments are very clean and there is everything you require. The place is also good for families and couples who like it a little bit more quiet and privat. Thanks for great holidays. We had a very joyful holiday and will come back.
