Welcome to our azothea and to our beloved city of Faro. Our Bed&Breakfast is part of a different Algarve we want you to be part of. We´re not a hotel or a complex building with swimming pool; we don´t have a reception desk full with a million flyers to crowd buses and noisy waterparks; we don´t start breakfast at 7am and we do not have equal rooms with equal furniture. What we can offer you is a relaxing atmosphere in a traditional house with 5 charming rooms with 2 shared bathrooms; we´ll give you tips to see, eat and touch the best of Faro and Ria Formosa, like a local would do; we´ll offer a buffet breakfast full of local and fresh products and all that at reasonable price.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed our stay at Azothea B&B, our room was large with comfortable beds. Being on the street however was at times very noisy during the night, we soon got used to it and it didn't really affect our sleep. The kitchen was well equiped and very clean and the breakfast provided was good consisting of bread, jams, ham and cheese, juice, cereal, milk and cookies. We found it sufficient. Maria made sure everything was nicely presented and was very friendly she always had time for a chat. There is a lovely roof top terrace and the two bathrooms were always clean with lots of hot water. A hairdryer is available on request . The location is great only a 5 minute walk to the bus station, the train and old town are within easy walking distance of around 10-15 minutes. A large

It wasn't pretending to be anything that it wasn't and it was exactly what it said. It was quite a relaxing B&B, no chaos and it was quiet. We were able to arrange a late check-in and Dina came to meet us when we arrived. The staff were very laid back and friendly, though didn't see much of them. The location was great for us. Just a couple of minutes walk and you are at the Capela dos Ossos, the Chapel of Bones. You are literally just around the corner from a nice square with several bars and eateries. A couple of minutes walk in the opposite direction and you can find a number of restaurants. In about 5 minutes (maximum) leisurely walk you can reach the marina, shops, pastelerias, restaurants and in just a minute more and you can be at the Old Town walls. Cleanliness in

The B and B was very clean and nicely decorated. Great location, right in the centre of Faro, no more than 10 mins from the airport. We were in a very small room, with a window which looked out onto a covered courtyard. Because of this our room was very hot with no breeze coming in. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and all very clean. The breakfast had a very limited selection but when paying €20 a night each we were not expecting much. Cheapest place I found to book it was through Hostel World.

Awfully cranky beds, could not sleep at all. I found myself sleeping on the floor at 4 am. Note to owner: Change the beds if you want to run a serious B&B business. Another thing: the breakfast is minimalistic. Fortunaltely there's a pasteleria next door. On the good hand, it is very clean and the terrace roof is great!

Very good value for an overnight. The rooms are tiny but the bed, blanket and pillows were of good quality. Rooms and shared baths were clean. Recommend to go for the standard double, they're much larger if staying for more than a night. We had the basic double thinking that it would be sufficient for just an overnight, which it was.
