We rented a lodge tent for a week in August with some fears given the negative reviews on different sites. But our stay was perfect (excellent value for money!).
The campsite is very pleasant and the managers very welcoming. The cleanliness is certainly not optimal but that is not what we will remember from this week in Verteillac where we found everything we were looking for (calm, nature, friendliness, etc.).
The swimming pool, just a few hundred meters from the campsite, is also very pleasant and the small town is very charming with all the necessary shops. We were lucky, what's more, to come during a week when lots of activities and festivities were organized by the town.
We were not transported and were still able to be independent in terms of shopping thanks to the small Vival supermarket and travel is possible via the shuttles which serve Verteillac.
In short, nothing to complain about, we will most likely come back!

We stayed for a weekend in bungalow 25. It's "camping", a bit vintage and you don't have to be too heavy to zigzag between the doors of the bedrooms, the toilet and the bathroom but it's Was clean and more than sufficient for a short stay. The welcome is friendly, the place is green and the village is close. In season, there seems to be quite a bit of activity.

Everything needs to be reviewed, the three stars are obsolete, the owner has a lot to do, the welcome is friendly but the reception area is repulsive, the bungalows are more than lived in, a shame for such a beautiful corner of Périgord. Go make an effort because the village of Verteillac is nice, lively and very good for shops.

We came to spend a night in the campsite for a mountain bike race nearby. The mobile home was very dirty. The cleaning has clearly not been done. Spiders everywhere in the mobile home. Shower with filth... Mattress not comfortable at all It’s a shame because the site itself is rather pleasant. With an invasion of tiger mosquitoes on top of that...what can I say.... We couldn't wait to leave...

Super camping familial. Two years to follow that we come back so much we enjoyed. The owners are caring for the holidaymakers. I highly recommend the pontis. Thanks to the managers who are really nice. Everything is there to have a good holiday

such anice campsite...the first time iv acrually got a good nights sleep ina campground...no street lights left on all night!!noone mowing the lawn all day,,noone playing loud music!!just peace and quietsurrounded by the beautiful countryside full of sunflowers...the owners are really sweet and well travelled themselves..they love animals and there are chickens wandering around the site!the mobile home was brand new and really affordable...dont have to book for a whole week...no deposit/caution asked!!!!highly recomended for nature/animal lovers

I have just bought a bolt hole in this lovely area of France. I am looking forward to April when I shall see my holiday home for the first time. Dirty I had to clean for an hour arriving no hygiene pool outside the campsite not open! No catering before 7pm no entertainment for children reception never opened almost no inventory going in and out of spider cockroaches the water does not work properly no info about camping or other disaster my bed that squeaks filled with rust not clean everything was dirty I re wash everything re doors rubs the floor the windows closes little the flap and break the floor in room and bathroom and swaddle

Being neighbor my family is in the area I was able to rent 2 x 1 x in November 2018 mobile in a state of filth monster no hot water, electricity HS at night for lack of permanent who use the heating at full resultant more current at night... meanwhile change of owner I rent with family 3 mobilemen in June 2022, 2022 cold welcome not top, the mobile men were dirty linen stain, the worst hot water or you have to fight a cold blow a hell... the other mobile men were not better... used garden furniture I fell from a plastic chair which to release resulted in a huge cut on the buttock...
