Had a wonderful stay a the Royal Astrid. While the building is charmingly old, it has recently been fitted out recently with every modern convenience. There was, for example an air purifier and a Japanese style bidet-toilet in my room and the room overall was spacious and super comfortable. The service was very friendly and thoughtful. To give an example, I was on my way from the self-service bar to the garden with a gin and tonic when a barman who was preparing for a function stopped me and asked if I would like some ice. Location is also great - just a few minutes walk from the main town square. I will definitely be back next time I am in Aalst.

This is a very good hotel: a very cosy atmosphere, thanks also to the beautiful building, the very well-designed interior and, above all, the friendliness of the managers and staff. The cuisine is also very good. The location is great: on the Keizersplein you are immediately in the centre of Aalst. Parking is also no problem, thanks to the spacious parking of the Keizershallen. Our stay was a very pleasant experience.

From arrival till checkout one of the best hotel experiences we have had so far. Staff and management are super friendly and attentive. Rooms are spacious, clean and luxury. Food is excellent. In this hotel every staff member makes you feel like home without being too familiar. If you want to be pampered you certainly must book one of the rooms in this classy hotel. We will be back for sure! Keep up the good work!

We came for one week stay. The staff was externally friendly and professional. We had small room at the attic’s but cozy and clean. Hotel -office well available and efficient. Wonderful food: big breakfasts and tasty dinners. Garden terrace with a lot of green and birds singing. 100m to public parking (4€ a day). City center. IDEAL!
