We ended up here by accident after being unable to find affordable accommodation within Amsterdam. But I am so glad that we did. The hotel felt luxurious, the bed was very comfy and we had everything we needed. Zaandam is a lovely place to explore, and there were no issues easily travelling in and out of Amsterdam every day (including at night). The room we stayed in had a shower that was open to the room/in view of the bed, so might not suit people who feel self-conscious.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this place and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The decor and the location were both outstanding, blending style and modernity in a seamless manner. Not only that, but the price was exceptionally reasonable for the level of quality and comfort provided. The cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable, and I encountered no issues whatsoever during my stay. This experience truly exceeded my expectations.

Stayed for a couple of days on a business trip and found the hotel very clean, easy to use the automated check in and simple check out. Very close to the station, with only two stops to Amsterdam Central. Plenty of nice restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. Will definitely stay again.

Zero stars based on customer service, and management. We booked our stay three months in advance, to arrive at the hotel to find our reservation was in the hotels system for the wrong dates. A ‘system error’. We were assigned a room that I did not book, I booked a specific room type. I complained straight away, which resulted in a wild goose chase. I was promised a ‘refund’. This whole ordeal really had a negative impact on our stay, as we were looking forward to staying in a room that we booked three months prior. It took 26 days to receive a very small compensation. Management informed me that the hotel might have changed my room type based on the number of people on my booking. Which they have no right to do, as their own website allowed me to make my booking without an issue. The hotel stopped responding to me after some time aswell which is severely unprofessional. It’s such a pity as the hotel itself was very nice, but the attitude/behaviour of management is really off putting, and I would not recommend anyone to stay here just incase an issue arises, there is a good chance your problem will not be resolved.

We are arriving this evening for 2 nights at 4. Evening surprise: no soap or shower gel in the bathroom when washing!!!! Just cream and conditioner, what a great deal! We try to call the on-call phone, obviously no one answers while the establishment has been sending us repeated messages for days to check the reservation...the world is turned upside down. We are going to say simply unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be 4 stars and where no one, I mean no one, is capable of responding to us at the moment and even less (professional misconduct) for having checked the room before the customer arrives. In short, ladies and gentlemen, holidaymakers in this hotel must bring their shower gel and shampoo for 300 balls for 2 nights, it's the gift of Holland!!!!

The hotel is in the middle of some bars and restaurants which is great. You check in using a computer and there was no staff or check in desk, if you did need anyone (which we did) you would need to go into the restaurant and ask someone to help, however someone eventually saw us stuck as the machine wasn't working so we had to wait a little bit. There is a car park around the corner which was helpful, a strip of shops round the corner also, and at the end there is the train station which is only two stops away from Dam square. The rooms were clean and comfortable, I really enjoyed this hotel and the area. The bars were nice and fun casino right on your door step too. Most things aren't open early morning though and late at night.. not sure whats open on a Sunday round there either.. overall i would stay in this hotel again, really nice and convenient, it would just be nice if there was actual visual staff to help you and a hotel desk etc, you get into the hotel itself with your key card so i would not like to think what i would need to do if i came back in the early hours and it wasn't working.. hopefully there is someone at hand at all hours somewhere.. my other concern was we needed more towels and they also never cleaned our room when we stayed.. so the lack of staff and contact makes it difficult to ask for towels so we had to dry after a shower using a hand towel.. even with these concerns like i said we did really like this hotel and the area so would come back here..

Former post office in Zaandam (beautiful town about 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam and about 15 minutes from Zaanse Schans - the town of windmills), since April this year 4-star hotel in a modern style, tastefully furnished, very clean and adjoining restaurant where, in the morning, you can enjoy a rich and varied sweet/savory breakfast and in the evening Dutch cuisine dishes in an 80s/90s musical atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!!!

Heel mooi nieuw hotel in centrum van Zaandam. Wij hadden een familie kamer en die is heel leuk ingedeeld met een vide waar de kids konden slapen. Verder een goede douche, heel goed bed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Verder was de geluidsisolatie erg goed, dus ook geen last van lawaai. We hebben ontbeten en gedineerd in ondergelegen restaurant ‘the Mail Compagny’ en dat was ook goed.
