Welcome to Room Mate Hostel! We are located in the center of Zaandam, which is close to Amsterdam and other places of interest. We are 5 minutes away from Zaandam train station, from Zaandam train station there are trains within 11 minutes to the center of Amsterdam. We are 8 minutes away from the Zaanse schans and 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport. We offer Free Wi-Fi for all guests. We have a 24-hour reception, with someone who can assist you at any time. We have large windows with a view of the Zaan canal or the city. There are disabled parking spaces and paid parking spaces under the hostel and there are also free parking spaces 5 minutes walk from the hostel. We also have a kitchen with a fridge, oven, stove, etc. You can also use this kitchen during your stay. We have washing machines and dryers that you can use to wash and dry your clothes. We also have a private bathroom in each room, with soap. Also you will get the towel from us for free, you can also use the hair dryer, which is also in the bathroom. There are also irons to iron your clothes. You get the bedding from us.

It was very nice, i liked it a lot. Friendly staff and very clean. There is also a restaurant right next to the hostel were we could eat with a discount. It was very tasteful. There was a nice terrace and a nice kitchen, the beds were comfortable too.

The location was good. Not far away from railway station. It looks good from the outside. It feels like the place is constructed in a way to just make look nice from the outside or in pictures, not concerned about the overall quality. The place was congested. The vibe was not good. My money was stolen. I did not feel comfortable or safe there. Not recommended at all.
