Beautiful hotel which lives up to the name ‘Boutique Hotel’. This hotel is very stylish, beautifully decorated and has great staff. It is very well situated right in the centre of Hoorn and only minutes away from all the attractions. In the hotel, there is a lovely breakfast choice available served in the pleasant restaurant. The rooms are lovely, spacious with very big beds and beautiful bathrooms. All the staff were very helpful but in particular Nylala, as the front of house, manager was great, doing everything she could to help us and make sure we had a pleasant stay which we did. I strongly recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a stylish hotel, with great food in the lovely town of Hoorn.

Ambiguous pre-arrival info: check-in was between 8am-5:30pm but that is only to check-in not to get a room. Our room wasn’t ready until 3pm.
Nice position. We used the entrance around the back through the garden rather than off the main square and through the restaurant.
Decent room and immaculately clean shower room. The lack of door from the shower/washroom to the bedroom was slightly disconcerting (the toilet is separate… and has a door).
Pantry in the corridor with free fruit and drinks was a nice touch. Beer/wine/snacks were available as a payable option.
Breakfast is pre-selected off a grid of options the night before. It was minimalistic and I would probably opt to eat out next time. And I think there will be a next time, Hoorn has plenty to keep visitors occupied and the Ysbrantsz is definitely worth another stay.

We can immediately say that our stay was a wonderfully positive experience! Super room, very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. And a team of very friendly people. On Friday evening we enjoyed the five-course menu with very tasty adapted wines. In short: we will definitely come back! Probably at a time when there is no fair, but ultimately that didn't affect our overall experience.

Lovely looking boutique hotel in the center of Hoorn decorated with an eye for details. This included ear plugs on our bedside table, which you definitely need when staying in a room located at the square the Roode Steen. On Friday evening we could clearly hear the sound of people in and around the hotel and restaurant in our room (second floor, room 10). This was annoying but we managed to fall asleep with it. On Saturday evening all the noise of night live including yelling drunk people and the music from bars could be heard in the room till after 2 AM, making falling asleep earlier impossible. Needless to say that waking up on Sunday because the phone alarm in the room next door went off at 8.30 AM didn’t improve our impression of this hotel.
So if you do choose to stay here, make sure not to sleep in room 10 or another room located directly at the Roode Steen. To end on a positive note, the breakfast was great.

A very nice modern Boutique Hotel with only 10 rooms in the Center of Hoorn, 1 minute to the central market place and 3 minuted to the sea,very good beds! We can also recommend the restaurant We had the 5 and 6 course menu and everything was delicious

It's a delight, in the middle of that covid-19 unrest, that there are entrepreneurs who dare to open a new welcoming place (Boutique Hotel & restaurant) in the very heart of old Hoorn: my compliments. We had reservations for four and everything worked out very well with the current extra set of corona rules and regulations. Very friendly staff (Kaya) and really nice and fresh food. Definitely not the usual stuff: refreshing. Keep up the spirit, we will be back!

Nice service, welcoming and helpful. The kitchen is perfect and it explains what the ingredients are that were used. The same goes for the wine. The location is perfect and the room (Room 5) we had was luxurious and large and fully equipped. (Also under the bed is cleaned!). Lunch and dinner in the inner terrace is cozy and cozy.
