Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amsterdam is great, but this hotel isn't! Reception who don't care about their guests, no breakfast, slow elevator, carpet in rooms, dirty, fungus, dust old furniture and I can go on for hours about how bad of a hotel this is. Due to the location it is very expensive, and therfor looks like a solid base to hang out, but don't get fooled! I've seen hostels better than this place.
Avoid at all times!

Although this hotel is definitely located in the centre of Amsterdam and walking distance to everything, it is terrible to stay at. The first room had so much black mold that we decided to switch rooms. The next room not only had black mold, but also fleas in the beds!!! The carpets were very dirty. I'm sure for the price of this hotel, you can find a better deal somewhere else.

DO NOT STAY THERE. Rooms are small, dusty and no air flows though. Mold and disgusting furniture, walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor breathing ohh and we woke up with bites all over. Took a different hotel after a night of horror.

A good, clean hotel very well located. Bed very comfortable with good quality bedding. No glasses or tea/coffee making facilities in the room but you can make your own in the lobby.

Room on first floor with canal view, very quiet. Room had TV and a fan. 24 hour reception with friendly and helpful staff.

Very good value for money.

You get what you pay for. The rooms are very very small, no space to walk at all. The walls and ceiling are so thin, you can hear everything all night.
There is no air con and the heat during our stay was unbearable. The shower was dirty but worked ok.
The location is great and the staff were helpful.
The vending machine was broken and stole money from us. There was nobody in the reception to help get it back.
We booked three rooms, a pending transaction was taken a week before our stay.
Just a heads up, pending transactions were taken over a week before our stay.

Very centrally located with a lot of amenities only a walk away.
Its pretty basic, but god enough for a short break.
Rooms were cosy but nicely decorated. and clean!
I was a bit worried about this place as had not so great reviews before going, but I luckily had a good experience and would go back if travelling on a budget.

Excellent location, fantastic staff, beautiful canal frontage room on the 2nd floor. Rooms are a little on the small side but out and about during the day. No breakfast but plenty of options very close by.
Short walks to all the major attractions Amsterdam has to offer

A small hotel in a convenient location. The room was clean but very small with no view. It's within walking distance from almost every attraction and reasonably priced for Amsterdam. The staff is friendly and helpful so I think it's a good choice for a short stay

I had a really nice and pleasant night at Hotel Mozart. My room was very clean and comfy. Felt like home, away from home. I want to thank the whole staff who has been extremely friendly and helpful. In these times of world panic, it is good to see that we can count on good people. I recommend Hotel Mozart 100%.
Cheers

Decent Hotel for 2* rating. 20min walk from Train station. The room was very small but clean & had everything we needed as we only slept & showered there. Unlimited Coffee in a cosy reception area.
The Staff were very polite & helpful at all times. Bars just up the Street were nice too.
