The accommodation was great and really gave the Amsterdam vibe. The lobby had a cozy, comfortable lounge area with a cafe and a bar and even a small library. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us advice regarding what to visit and even helped us purchase tickets to the Van Gogh museum which we couldn't do online for some reason. The rooms were clean and we had to leave the bedsheets on the floor once we left which ensures that the bedding is changed after every guest. The place is also fairly environmentally friendly which is always a plus. They had lockers for depositing your luggage after you checked out which was particularly helpful for us. The location was also great, close to the centre but also close to a cannal cruise point and some museums, it is also easily accessible by public transport. The only minus was the wi-fi which wasn't working very well inside the rooms. All in all, we had a great stay here, would definitely recommend it.

A pleasant place to stay for a night, in a comfortable 2 bunk 4 bed room. It was quiet too. Downstairs was a relaxing place to hang out for a little while; staff were friendly and the atmosphere bright. Much nicer than travelodge but not as cheap. You'll need your own towels etc. Buffet breakfast was good costing €7.50 - continental style not cooked food. Vondelpark would be great in the spring/ Summer.

This is my 2nd time staying at this hostel and it certainly didn't disappoint. The place has gone through lots of refurbishments since I last stayed, so the lounge and restaurant downstairs is very modern and busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will answer any of your questions. There are lockers to use downstairs, and you can rent a hairdryer (with a 20 euro deposit). They don't offer bike rentals anymore but will give you a 10% discount to a bike rental place nearby (which was great). I stayed in the big dorm room which was comfortable enough, the showers and toilets were clean, and there was a locker under the bed you could use to store your things (you need your own padlock). Obviously the location is pretty hard to beat, and it's just down the road from a Spar. My only complaint is that you can't bring your own food or drink back to the hostel, so if you're *really* on a budget, you need to eat outside.

The hostel is very nice : the staff is always there to help you, the building and the decor are great, the rooms were clean, you could have breakfast for 6 euros. However, on weekends and Holiday, prices go up. We paid 58 euros/night for a bed in a 4 bed dorm, and it is usually 23 euros/night. The private room we also had was from 130 euros to 175 euros a night, and it is usually 89,50 euros/night on their website. It seems quite unreasonable to me since hostels are supposed to be more affordable than hotels. This was disappointing because with the city tax, it became very expensive. That would be the only bad thing about this hostel. The rest was perfect. Good location also. A bit noisy outside sometimes but not too bad.

50 Euros a night in a 20 bed room was not good value for money. I did not receive sheets and slept underneath the airconditioning, which made me sick during the first night. When moving to a 4 bed room, there was no space to open the suitcase when 4 adults with 4 suitcases were present. Staff were very friendly and the place was clean and well kept.

The hostel is clean and quiet in the night and not far from the central. The staff are friendly and you can ask any information about attractive places, traveling cost, etc. Extra cost for breakfast and towel. WiFi is free.

I choose stayokay vondelpark after visiting the stayok in Utrecht. It's in the city center, near bus station and trams. The location is perfect if you want to visit museums and if you like to explore the city on foot. Food and breakfast was tasty, the stuff friendly but the rooms not very comfortable. Although they were big for a hostel, the shower and WC facilities weren't comfortable. The beds also aren't comfortable.

You book your bed in a 10 beds bedroom and you stay in a 16 beds bedroom. The lockers are extremely noisy, when you open it for whatever is the reason, everyone will be awaken. Sometimes there's no hot water in the shower, plus the facilities do not include a kitchen for the guests.

I loved this place! We had a private room, which looked like it had just been renovated. High ceiling, lots of natural light, comfortable bedding, clean and modern bathroom and shower. The common spaces were also very tastefully decorated. We only tried the breakfast, which was fine, nothing spectacular, but really ok. The location, inside Vondelpark, could not be better, both in itself and as regards accessibility from the airport and walking distance to everything in the centre.

We were welcomed, given keys to the room and directions upon walking in. We were settled in our room within 10 mins of walking into the establishment! The staff were very friendly, the rooms are extremely modern, clean and have everything you need. (We stayed in a private double comfort room).
The location is fantastic also, close to Leidseplein square and practically in the centre with local buses and trams if close by.
