Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

You cannot go wrong with the location! Very central, and 5-min walk to the Central Train Station, and 1-minute walk to the tram!! Room was nice, however as a woman, I did miss having a full length mirror in the room... no use having a mirror where you hang your clothes, as it is hidden... the other thing that we could have done without is the automatic bathroom light! So, in the middle of the night if one needs to use the bathroom, it lights up and doesn't turn off for five minutes! It's a bother for the other person sleeping! Prior to staying at the Inntel, I read a review from a guest who complained about a certain smell in one of the spa rooms....I have to admit the review was spot on! I sprayed quite a bit of my Chanel perfume to mask it!!! Management should really look into this.... especially when you get back after having been out for twelve hours and there has been no ventilation as everything was powered off to save energy. At the end of a long day, you get back to this unpleasant smell in the room.... Breakfast was excellent.... Breakfast room was nice, clean and bright. Reception staff was very pleasant and helpful, special shoutout to Gideon! All in all, once a few things get adjusted we could consider going back, if we were to visit Amsterdam again. Thank you Inntel team!

Stayed here for 4 nights, room was OK but quite small. Never had breakfast so can't comment. The check in was quick and easy, and you could leave your bags on check out for free and collect them later. The selling point has to be the location, just 10 minutes from Centraal Station.

I would like to bring to your attention the notes of my experience and complaint: The room smelled of damp and like a smokers room. The bathroom was dirty and had mould – had to clean the bath tub myself. No towels. – lucky I brought my own The safe did not work, we had over $1800 cash for our spending money and passports and we did inform reception they tried to fix it and was unable to repair it, we did not go out that night as did not feel safe with our money in the hotel. ( a waste of a night) and also it said when we booked the hotel that there is a safe in the room in working order which was not!!! The morning of the 27th September 2019, we was woken up at 7.30am with a loud drilling noise which lasted over 5 hours, our sleep was ruined, and we have recording of the noise and the noise is like someone is drilling a hole in our room was horrible and disturbing. The night of the 27th September the reception staff was raciest (mark/Dave – we do not have his name) he used remarks as - go back to your own country, get out the hotel, people like you should not be in this hotel. Then he walked to the lift we was in and forcing us to leave. This is horrifying, we have a video recording of his behaviour we informed reception when we was leaving who seen the CCTV.

Thank you for your stay with us and the several ways you informed us about your experience. We're sorry you did not have the excellent experience we strive for. During your stay we have made several gestures to improve your experience. Not all of them were accepted by you like the use of our personal safe. As you know, If we could have we would have given you a different room, but none were available. We hope you take us up on the offer we made by e-mail so we can convince you of our qualities and services. Kind regards, Marjolein Guest Relations

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location is excellent and the staff first class. They could not have been more helpful. The room was clean, modern, minimalist, but adequate for us as we did not spend much time in it. We had a couple of issues with the shower room. First, there was no way to fill the sink with water as there as an immovable metal dome covering the plug hole. Second, the shower room light was worked by a movement sensor. Which was great, except that when I moved in bed during the night the light switched on! We had to remove the room card from the slot by the door to switch the electricity off to get an uninterrupted nights sleep.

Location was great close to eveerything, and walking distance. But every morning bright and early there was loud thumping on the roof, and banging sounds you hear directly above you. It was extremely difficult to adjust and sleep well because of the time zone change and we were forced to wake up. It's possible this is isolated to the fourth floor since the construction seems to be happening on the roof. Needless to say no sleeping in! The hotel may be better if you are waking up very early and don't need to adjust to a big time zone difference

Thank you for your kind review. We appreciate the time you took to inform us about your stay. We're happy that you could walk to all the big attractions from the hotel! We are truly sorry that you got bothered by noise, while you would have liked to sleep in. Next time, please let us know. The reception staff is always willing to offer a solution, like a room change if needed and when available. I have shared your feedback with the rest of our team for improvement and hope you will give us another chance to show our true level of service. Kind regards, Vivian - Guest Relations.

can anyone advise on the city twin 'new' rooms, are they quiet? thanks
Our room had 1 very small window, which I thought was strange. Room very modern, clean, bathroom very nice. The only thing didn’t like there was a hot tub in middle of room. ( it was my daughter and myself in the room). It was a last minute choice of a hotel. I wouldn’t stay there again. I just didn’t like the vibe of building.
