Hey gang. Kenny wood here with another trip advisor review.
Let's do this...
1. This hotel doesn't have much going on anywhere other than in the spa.
2. Don't plan about doing anything outside the hotel. Ya'll stranded out here
3. This hotel loves a little charge here and there. They'll get you paying for breathing if they could
4. The room is so basic and boring. It's seriously not a vibe
5. Where's all the bars at man? Y'all hiding your alcohol in this place
6. Spa water was a bit tepid, warm it up a bit and you'll be sweet
Take care out there folks

We booked this hotel for 2 nights including the spa entrance. We arrived on Friday and our room was around 12.00 already available Entering the room felt like walking into a fridge. Ice cold and indeed it was only 13 degrees in the room. We switched on the heating and headed for the spa. We got back in the room around 17.00 and temperature was around 18 degrees, but ice cold floors and walls gives an unpleasant ambient temperature. We had a concert that night and got back around 23.30 and the room was around 21 degrees finally but still could floor and walls, uncomfortable feeling. So next day we switched on the heating to 22 degrees on auto and did go to the spa. Getting back in our room it was cold again, 17 degrees. Somebody did remove the card that energizes the room including the heating. So we did enjoy the spa, clean and many options, the food and drinks, but the cold unpleasant room leaves a very negative atmosphere for this trip. Another weird story is the deposit pp of 50 per night, it was for safety reasons they say at reception. Is the hotel audience so dangerous?

The hotel itself is excellent. Really nice rooms, easy access by bike, nice area and the best spa I've ever been in. My main issue was with the staff and costs not being very transparent.
I arrived later than I planned (I'd cycled most of the day to get there) and when I asked the guy on reception whether I could use the spa the following morning as I wouldn't be able to spend much time there on the check-in day he kindly said "no problem, I'll add a note to your account". When I asked the person on reception the following morning if I needed to do anything different checking out she said there was no note and I'd have to pay a further €45 to use the spa. Which is a real shame as the spa is amazing but I could spend a further €45. I'm not sure which staff member was wrong but it was a bit disappointing. Also when I went to get slippers for the spa as there were none in my room no one said there was a charge for them, it was just added to the bill quietly. They should have been more upfront about this.
All that said, the hotel itself is really nice so you'll definitely have a comfortable stay. And the spa is incredible, easily the best I've ever visited. I just wish I could have spent more than an hour using it.

Just enjoyed a 3 day break at this spa hotel in Amsterdam. Great location as set in a area full of sporting venues and forest trails where I enjoyed taking part in the Park Run 5 minutes from the hotel and lovely runs in the morning. Great outdoor theatre nearby although did get rained on when I attended. The spa is brilliant and included in the price with great facilities. Never been to a spa before where swimwear is not permitted (on the days I was there) but absolutely loved it and felt very comfortable. The restaurant in the spa was really lovely.
Room was very good with all the facilities you expect and I thought the breakfast was absolutely fine with lots of choice for a continental breakfast.
Great to stay so close to a forest but to be able to get into the centre of Amsterdam very easily with the 24 tram or the metro which are both only a 10 minute walk away or you can hire bikes from the hotel.
Hope to return, thank for a great stay.

We visited the spa a day after it re-opened following the lockdown.
The food is usually excellent but this time it was woeful. We had to wait over an hour to be served, and much of the menu was unavailable. This is forgivable after such a long closure but the food we were served was inedible, which is not. Many other customers complained atvthe time but to little avail.
My written complaint to spa zuiver has not been responded to which confirms my suspicion that they are more Interested now in recouping their losses during the closure rather than providing a good service. Very disappointing. We will visit other spas instead

This is our second time to this hotel.
We think it is excellent value for money.
The spa is above and beyond any in the UK that we have been too.
I had a massage this time it was a very reasonable price for 50 minutes and the lady was excellent.
We love the fact the spa has naked days, this so very liberating.
Breakfast is great, it is help yourself with plenty of choice.
All the staff at this hotel have been good.
We do think they need to get onto of housekeeping a bit, they may not be pulling their weight as much as the rest of the teams.
We have loved our room both times. We have stayed in the building not attached to the main hotel.
We have not played tennis, but the facilities here for this are excellent.
The restaurant has a great choice, great staff, fast service and very relaxing atmosphere. Remember NO PHONES in the spa. This is also liberating!
It is 30 minutes out of the centre, but this is why it is priced better.
It takes us a nice 15 minute walk to the tram stop, then not long until we are in the city centre.
A taxi is 60 euros
The hotel are happy to order this for you.
We recommend and we will be back.

Great hotel and fantastic spa. Having read through some of the negative comments prior to staying I struggling to see how they can be justified. Be aware it is not centrally located, however the buses and metro links are great and regular. Airport 20 mins away by bus. Tram and bus stops are an easy 15 minute walk down the main road. Lovely breakfast and comfy rooms, all the staff were lovely. Be aware that some days in the spa are with costumes and some not, there is no seediness so don’t worry about the naked days everyone is doing their own thing, Sunday was busy but the Monday less so. The restaurant could perhaps have a few more choices and the prices are a little higher than outside, that said no different to most hotels, it is a shame you can not get a nightcap (drink) outside of the spa but not a deal breaker. Had this been the case I would have given 5 stars for sure.

I stayed here for one night after visiting friends in the city centre for the weekend. It was a lovely end to a long weekend. I stayed on Sunday night and my flight was not until 10pm Monday so I was able to enjoy a full day at the spa on the Monday.
Check in was good and everything was explained. I stayed in the newer part of the hotel across the parking lot which was lovely.
The spa was 10/10 with so many different saunas/steam rooms it was a very relaxing experience. It was a bit daunting going fully nude (as a Brit it’s not something we’re used to) but after 5/10 mins it seemed completely normal. I enjoyed a relaxation massage which was lovely.
I ate at the restaurant upstairs. The food and service was good the only complaint was that it was so hot upstairs - I rushed my meal just to escape the heat (it was a warm day so this may not always be the case)
My only suggestion was that the events that are on in the different saunas are not super clear. It would have been good to get an explanation at check in as to what they were and how you were able to participate.
The airport was 15mins Uber from the hotel so great to visit for a spa day before heading into the city or on the way back before the airport. I’ll definitely stay again on my next visit to Amsterdam.
I visited for the second time in August as I had a 7 hour layover coming back from Rome. Again it was a 15 min taxi from the airport even at 4pm. This day was a swim suit day and the vibe was different to the textile free day. It was not as relaxing as it seemed to attract larger groups who were all talking and quite loud. As I was not a guest at the hotel this time I was asked if I needed a towel and robe and I was given them however there was no mention of a charge for this (naively I assumed it would be included in the entry)
I enjoyed a relaxation massage which was great again 😊
I will definitely return however I’ll make sure to avoid the swim suit days as the experience was not as enjoyable.

Have been several times. The spa is fine but not as busy as it used to be even at weekends.
The hotel is not good for the price. The beds are very uncomfortable and my air conditioning did not work.
Outside of the spa area nowhere to get food or drink.
The restaurant has no atmosphere and can only be accessed via the spa. The menu is very basic and very expensive. You pay using your spa bracelet.
I paid my bill on leaving . The following day I git several emails from the hotel saying I had not paid my bill for a meal. I had payed the bill as presented. Poor customer service and very rude to say I owed money when I had paid my bill.
Not what he used to be. The rooms look tired and the carpet had stains all over it.
I doubt I will return.
Spa is fine but hotel and customer service very poor.

This is not a hotel it's a tennis club with rooms and restricted access to facilities, resteraunt only access able wearing g towel robes after you walk 150 yards across the car park from the rooms. Extremely remote from centre totally different to posted discription. As part of my 60th birthday celebrations with friends totally disappointed and would not recommend to anyone
