Perfect location in Amsterdam if you want “city centre” but away from the red light district - my boyfriend and I wanted to avoid staying near this area for obvious reasons and were v happy with the location of this hotel. Breakfast is fine, staff are lovely. Good transport links - the tram to the train station is nearby. No complaints and would stay here again. …
The hotel was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable only thing was, 4 people sharing a room proved to be a little tight as the rooms are quite small. The shower was very small and was shared with the toilet therefore it was quite squashed however if you just need a place to crash I don't have any complaints. Staff here were very friendly and helpful, check in was very easy. Location is about 20 minute walk (pretty much in a straight line over all the bridges) to the main square which isn't too bad as it allows you to see different things as you walk.…
Nice but small rooms. The rooms are clean and neat. Be sure to get a room above ground and in the front of the hotel. Very centrally located in Jordaan. Close to center, shops and restaurants/cafes. A bit boring breakfast. The bacon was cooked and not fried. Please teach the cook how to fry bacon. The staff at the reception were very frendly. I would definitely stay here again.…
Just arrived home from one night in this hotel . The hotel is only 15mins from Dam square . Straight forward east walk over the canals . The hotel is situated in a clean quite area of Amsterdam but not to far from the madness . The room was lovely and modern just a few things that could make it perfect . A bit of extra dusting , there was a fair amount of cobwebs on the ceiling and bedroom wall , one of our towels had someone else’s hair wrapped in the towel ( as seen in pic ) so just some attention to detail and this would be the perfect gem of a hotel . Thanks for our stay :)…
Very easy to get to from the airport via transit. Rooms are updated and clean. Very close to major attractions (within walking distance). Staff were friendly, they always said hello when you went by the front desk. They offer discount coupons for some main attractions such as the Heineken Experience. Main downside is that for the price I would have expected a continental breakfast to be included but breakfast was an additional 10 Euro per day per person. …
"If you forget your power converter, the front desk will rent one to you for a small deposit."Read full review
