I stayed int his hotel 2 times while travelling to other places. It has a parking, playground for kids with toys, the rooms are spacious, the restaurant is great and the staff super friendly. The location was great, because the tram to the city center was super close by and in 10 min you were in centraal.

We stayed at Novotel Zurich City West on our recent trip to Zurich in November 2019. The hotel was well connected to the Zurich Hauptbahnhoff with a tram stop meters away from the hotel. Despite reaching early, the staff was kind enough to check in early. The room was comfortable and well equipped with all key amenities for our stay. Most importantly the staff was very helpful and cooperative towards our needs and queries and even gave us great tips to explore some lesser know spots in Zurich. The continental breakfast was wholesome with a wide range of meats, fruits, breads and baked items. We tried the pizza for dinner at the inhouse restaurant during our stay, which was delicious and filling. Considering the comfort of the room, the service by the staff and the location, would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed four nights in an executive room in early October. We were originally going to stay in July 2020 but alas COVID hit. It was relatively simple to rebook even though we had a non refundable rate (not so much for other Accor hotels we had booked in 2020). The hotel is easily accessible from the airport and about a 20 minute walk from the city center train station. We arrived around noon and were able to check in. There were only two pillows on the bed but they immediately brought up extras when requested. Felt very safe with the COVID protocols. Fitness room was very nice and you had to gain access from the front desk. That was a bit inconsistent- was able to “reserve” one day but then the next were told no and then the following day had to show our vaccine cards and passports, again. Think they could’ve noted it the first time and moved on. The basement pool was also nice but for some reason only open in the afternoon/evening. Though someone was doing laps in Monday morning. One thing of note was that the room towels were threadbare but pool towels were plush.
There are a couple of good restaurants and bars (Les Halles in particular) nearby as well as a grocery store.
All in all it was a good experience and I would stay there again and would recommend.

This hotel sits in one complex that includes other Accor chain hotels from Ibis budget, Ibis and this one the Novotel. I think Novotel is the most expensive but as far as I can see the facility in the next door Ibis is very similar. My room was adequate with small desk couch and very comfortable King Size bed. Sounds good but that's where it ends. No drawers to store clothing and one of those open rails to hang a few shirts. As noted by other reviews Novotel have strange sense of humour placing a kettle and mugs in the room but not providing coffee, tea or even spoon. Are all Swiss nationals all equipped with swiss army knives and spoons!. Air con is perfect and bathroom and shower all good. Just lost that 4th star for the idiotic policy for tea and coffee. Location wise you can find the tram near by some low key restaurants and coffee shops but you are definitely not in the centre of Zurich. I ran down the river one morning and its 4km (very nice path along the river though)

The location is nice and the tram helps to reach the Cory center in less then 10 minutes. renovation of the room on going, this is good but our room was pretty smelly of chemicals. Swimming pool and gym are ok.

We stayed in a family room. Pros: very good swimming pool (max 6 ppl at a time) with a special key card to access, good safety measures (1 person/in the lift at a time, sanitizer in the lift!, automatically opening doors from/to garage and friendly staff, DYI gift for kids was nice gesture, welcoming drink.
Cons: expensive parking CHF29/24 hrs. 1 welcoming water bottle (0.5l) for 4 ppl (2 adults + 2 kids), no after shower conditioner and no lotion in the bathroom. Doors of a toilet do not lock from inside. Toilet and the sink were yellowish (not very clean) and this is a 4-star hotel (!)

Location? Very good. 10 mins walk from and to the train station. Food? We did not try as we had food from outside halal restaurants Staff? Nah. Ladies are not so happy serving customers but one young male was the jolly, helpful and good communicator. Room? Very small for a family of 4. No slippers, soap is very tiny one small piece for 4 people in 3 days. One time room service. You have to call the Reception for other problems like sugar, tea, disposable cups. No tissues supply. You have to call for everything you need normally in a hotel.

This is our first visit to Switzerland and we landed in Zurich. We chose the Novotel Zurich City West based on previous customer reviews.
The location is quite good, 3 min walk to the tram 4 which will take you to the main Zurich train station.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh bread, cheese, eggs, pancakes and cappuccino machines.
The rooms are comfortable and modern, with Nespresso machine.
The hotel staff is friendly.

Room: Superior Room is large enough to accommodate 3 adults (with sofa cum bed) Housekeeping: Room gets cleaned daily and clean sheets and towels everyday In room Amenities: Tea/Cofee maker in room. You need to get supplies from Front desk as they don't usually keep them in room before hand.
Bathroom/washroom: Clean, running hold and cold water 24/7,
AC: Not cooling enough to feel it working, good thing is they have window in room staff: everyone is very professional and polite during our stay. Special thanks to all staff in restaurant and Bar.
Breakfast Options: As Indian Vegetarian - Some options like Milk-Rice (Kheer), fruits, bread butter, milk, yogurt, muffins etc is available. Kids friendly : Playing area for kids within Main Lobby and also swings in courtyard.
