I stayed here for one night whilst in transit.
The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport via their shuttle, which is free on the way to the hotel and 5 francs to return. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so there is not much to do if you’ve no transport.
It was great for a one night stay and I really enjoyed it. The staff where really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I ate in the hotel and the food was nice, although the selection was not overly extensive.
Overall, I recommend this hotel for overnight stays.

We were bicycle touring unsupported through Germany and Switzerland for two months. We stayed hotels large and small. We stayed in this hotel on three separate occasions for a total of seven nights. The positives: our room with a balcony was not large but good sized, water pressure is fantastic, room and hotel property are clean, staff is generally helpful but there were a couple staff that didn’t seem to know their jobs, room lighting is good, wifi works well, shower has a full door, bed was comfortable, two fast elevators, rooms are quiet, restaurant food is good and reasonably priced for Switzerland. The negatives: breakfast is expensive for the plain food they offer, breakfast offerings were inconsistent only offering hot food when they have bus groups in the hotel, breakfast on days without bus groups has very little food on the buffet and no hot food(you are treated like second class people if you are not with a bus group), staff told us they made a taxi reservation for us but when we checked with reception the next day they told us we had no record of a reservation, we asked for a large vehicle taxi reservation since we had large bicycle cases and they told us they made one but the morning we were to leave a small taxi showed up and we had to pay for TWO taxis to fit all our luggage(an airport hotel should have a more reliable taxi service with which they have arrangements. This is a good hotel for a short stay but the quality of the staff varies from one person to the next. Always verify the information you receive with a different staff member to make sure you get the same answer. Bottom line-we would stay here again but be aware of this hotel’s shortcomings.

We stayed there for 3 nights. We chose it cos of its relatively low price and it being within 15 minutes walk from the Hallestation. It is very convenient as we were in Zurich for a concert that took place at the Hallestadion. The hotel is serviced by a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was very convenient (free from airport and CHF5 to airport). It is perfectly location close to a bus stop, making it easy to get to the city centre withing 30 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but well equipped (aside from there being no kettle to make some tea or coffee), very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi was pretty strong and we had a good sized tv in the room. A small touch but was much appreciated was the plug extension that had 4 plug slots and two usb outlets. Though the room was small, we had everything we needed and we even had room to hang our clothes and keep our luggage. The hotel also offers a free luggage storage before and after checkout. Last but not least, I loved the breakfast. There was an abundant choice and quantity, not to mention quite tasty. Though it is a no frills hotel, it has everything one needs. 100% recommended

The only advantage:quite close to the airport, but still a short drive by taxi. The room is very simple, no restaurant (only pizzas available at the bar), very busy with travelers, so check in or check out quite long. In the room you have adaptor for the Swiss plug in system, so do not pay for the adaptor at the machine in the lobby! Staff quite unqualified

Hotel is near to the airport. You can take tram taxi n shuttle from the airport…very basic but it serves your purpose… breakfast was average… had croissants boiled eggs n coffee..
the shower cubicle was too small and it’s separated from the toilet… the basin is inside the room…
It was ok fr a night. The location was good…
Would def stay here… you can get juice , water ,wraps sandwiches in the reception area.

First the better things
The rooms are clean and basic. The location is 5 minutes walk from tram station Housekeeping do their work as usual.
Worst Things
The reception is unwelcoming and everything for them starts with no. They lack smile warmth and do not live to Accor group standard.
Now the SCAM.
I needed a Airport drop inquired on 7th June was told would be 20 CFR. However could not book on 7th evening. 8th June morning approach the reception the person says pointing to a person saying he will drop and fare is 70 CFR. When saying it was too much the reception guys says may be 40 CFR. Then I pressurised if he can book a shuttle ,the reception person realises he is caught and calls the Airport drop shuttle which was 20 CFR.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this conveniently located hotel, IBIS MESSE close to the airport. The proximity to the airport made our travel experience seamless, allowing us to settle in quickly after a long journey. What made our stay even more memorable was the romantic atmosphere that the hotel provided. On Thursday evening, we were treated to a delightful live music performance that added a touch of romance to our getaway. The soothing melodies combined with the cozy ambiance created the perfect setting for a memorable evening with my girlfriend. I must commend the hotel for going the extra mile in creating such a wonderful experience. Amazing service, rooms are great. The service when you get a good waiter that can help translate it’s so helpful. Kevin was very helpful and told us what we needed to do to get a complimentary beverage. The room itself was great we got a double and the rooms are great. They also helped us getting around the area gave us the correct information to get to the designated location.

I did not use the tram, but there is a tram in front of the hotel.
It’s not free. You will have to pay 19 swiss francs for the parking of 24hrs.
