who always had time to chat and ask about our day. Hotel is in Inner Arosa a little outside the main town but you are issued with an Arosa card on arrival which gives you free travel on all forms of transport. You are spoilt for choice on all grades of hiking from low level round lakes to high mountain peaks. A generous 4 course dinner and an extensive buffet breakfast is prepared by a chef who knows and loves his food. Have nothing but praise for this wonderful hotel.

One thing to keep in mind, as many people have already said: the four course nouvelle cuisine (small portions of exquisite taste) menu is the only option. However, the hotel is not far from town, if it's not for you then there are plenty of options within walking or bus traveling distance.
Shame that after good food, you leave with a bad taste in your mouth when you are over charged. Ask exactly how much the open wine costs
The food in the evening was good. But the wine prices are massively overpriced.
The mattresses were far too hard and should be replaced. We were exhausted in the morning.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and cosy and the food is delicious. We had the set menu each evening (after the first meal we had no desire to go anywhere else!) and the chef must be complimented on the high quality and presentation of each dish. I ate things I normally don’t enjoy, but this time they were great. Please consider making a recipe book for the dishes. Breakfast was also very varied and tasty with many home-made touches.
We were given the Arosa Card on arrival, for free use of the local cable cars, and the bus service is also free. It was easy to explore the mountain paths and try out the cafes dotted around there, for lunch and coffees.
Marcus, thank you for making sure I was comfortable reading in the cosy chairs, and Christoph, thank you for all your helpful tips that made our stay so great. We didn’t want to leave, and regret we had booked such a short stay on this occasion. Next time, we will stay longer - hopefully next year. Fingers crossed!

Price/performance is right!
Please keep it up...
