The service at this hotel is consistently lauded for its warmth and professionalism, adding to the overall comfortable and peaceful atmosphere.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Fiescherblick. Our room was comfortable and very well appointed with a spectacular view of the surrounding peaks. We loved that we could open windows to get fresh air at night and the bed/sheets were delightful. Everything is spotless. The laundry is expensive, but we appreciated it. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and other services but not right in the busiest part of town. We enjoyed the bells from the church across the street as well as the gentle bells from the cows grazing nearby. We had dinner at the ramen pop-up on the patio one evening (good!), accompanied by a cocktail from the hotel (also good). Breakfast is great - lots of variety and everything of excellent quality, served by very kind staff. The spa is nice but quite small/plain (just the hot pool and the sauna). There is an overly complicated system for gaining entry to the spa - one has to go to the front desk and ask for a key and then return it afterward. I would have preferred for the spa to have longer hours (i.e., open in the morning). We found the wifi to be surprisingly poor in our room. The tipping option at check-out was unusual - I have never before been presented with the option to tip a percentage on the entire bill (I think it would be better to communicate to guests that they may request the option to tip via credit card at check-out if they wish). We did receive some incorrect information about the bus from the front desk on one occasion. However, overall we have very fond memories of our stay - our room felt like a beautiful oasis, tucked away amidst the incomparably grand scenery.

Hotel Fiescherblick provided an exceptional experience! First off, the location sets it apart from many other hotels. It’s just a 10-15 minute walk from the busy center of Grindelwald, making it a nice quiet retreat. While the town can be crowded and noisy, with tourists filling the sidewalks and vehicles passing by, Hotel Fiescherblick offers a peaceful escape.
Our room was modern, clean, quiet, well laid out with plenty of space. The bed was comfortable; the walk in shower was large and had great water pressure. The view from our room was amazing!
The staff truly made our stay memorable. Every single person we encountered was courteous, kind, and eager to help. We had the pleasure of working with Andrew at the front desk and Eva during breakfast. Andrew was instrumental in helping us plan our hiking adventures, providing invaluable insights to ensure we had enjoyable days. We were grateful for his expertise. As for Eva, she was an absolute delight during breakfast, always warm and considerate, checking in on us and asking about our previous day’s experiences. She excelled in her role!
Finally, we enjoyed what was billed as a five-course dinner in their restaurant, but it felt more like eight or nine courses. The food was locally sourced and absolutely delicious! Although it was a bit on the pricey side, the attentive servers truly enhanced our experience. Each time they presented a new dish, they shared a interesting story—everything from its origins in Switzerland to the chef's preparation techniques, and even their own involvement. Every bite came with a tale, making the entire meal a delightful adventure!
Thank you, Hotel Fiescherblick, for your wonderful hospitality!

Our family, two adults and our children, ages 5 and 7, enjoyed a wonderful 8 day stay in the Fiescherblick Loft this past July. The location was perfect for us at the quiet end of town and our room, with its large balcony, opened onto glorious views of the church across the road framed by the mountains. Having this outdoor space to enjoy in the evenings with a glass of wine was wonderful. In addition to the balcony doors, there are also two skylights in the room that automatically open and close based on temperature and weather. The room size, although not enormous, was more than enough for our family of four with the kids on the pull-out couch on the other side of the room divider which has a TV on one side and shelving on the other. The two bathrooms, one with a wonderful shower, also makes getting ready in the mornings much easier. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious and was a great way to start our long days in the mountains. Service at the front desk, the restaurant and everywhere else was exemplary. We had the dinner tasting menu at their restaurant twice (once on the beautiful patio outside and once inside) which was incredible and atmospheric. We also enjoyed the use of the spa (infinity saltwater pool and sauna) several times which must have the best view of any spa in the world. We can't recommend Hotel Fiescherblick highly enough and hope to return in the future.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights from the 28/12/25. Our group of 8 people required 4 rooms for our stay so we took over the 4th floor of this small boutique hotel. The hotel is directly opposite the church at the end of the town. Good location - quick walk to the town centre of Grindelwald. It is more contemporary than other traditional Swiss hotels - only recently renovated so its decor is fresh, the hotel is clean, warm & comfortable. The hotel is owned by 2 brothers, Lars & Mathias - parents own the hotel next door - 5th generation hoteliers - clearly runs in their blood. We have to compliment how extremely helpful Lars was whilst we were booking our ski trip - easy to contact, great communication & so helpful. Both L&M are extremely involved in the day to day running of the hotel & on the ground daily ensuring every aspect of our stay was running smoothly. We really enjoyed the roof top heated hot tub & sauna - which was heavenly after a hard day skiing with absolutely breath taking views of the church & mountains. The lounge area is small & just off the main entrance - can be drafty & busy for seats. The breakfast is nice but scrambled egg with bacon was the only hot option if you are not prepared to pay additional charge for 3 other options.. this out of principal was disappointing given the price we paid per person for B&B. The rooms were nice, modern, comfy beds & plenty of storage. Although our kids were made feel welcome it is not the most kid friendly hotel. The restaurant is fine dining too, so needs to be considered - menu doesn’t change regularly & it is expensive - we did enjoy the fine dining experience but only ate here for dinner once during our 9 day stay. Overall we had a very nice stay in a lovely hotel in a great location - Grindelwald as expected is very expensive & this is reflected in this expensive hotel.

Dear Anita and family Thanks for your review and your stay over New Year's in Grindelwald. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. It was our great pleasure to make you all feel at home. We will gladly share the positive feedback with all of our staff. I am very happy that you appreciated our concierge work, before and during your stay, when I organised all restaurants, ski school and rentals for you. We always try to become better and take your feedback seriously. We are, however, somewhat disappointed to not have fully satisfied you in every means and "only" got rated 4 out of 5. Also because we did the extra effort like shuttling you to rentals and restaurants (usually we only shuttle from and to the station) and trying to organise everything so you could enjoy your family break. But thank you for mentioning the points that were not to your expectation, I would like, however, put these points into our perspective as well: - The Lobby area is quite small, we agree, but you visited in the busiest time of the year when the whole valley is packed, every hotel and restaurant seat ist booked, every room occupied. We have around 20 seats in the Lobby and normally this is more than enough, it is only during these two weeks that it gets as busy as then. - Thank you for the feedback about the egg dishes, what else would you have appreciated? We strive to get better by the day! The work load for the breakfast chef is much higher if he has to prepare Eggs Benedict or Rösti, hence the surcharche. If we offered all these items for free, we would have to hire another breakfast chef, resulting in higher breakfast prices. - We welcome all guests the same, but you are right, we are not a children hotel, we have our sister hotel that offers a game room, table tennis, pool and so on so we don't want to offer two similar concepts (as goes for the restaurant concept). But I am glad that your children felt welcome and also made friends with other childen in the hotel. We also enjoyed their company. - Our restaurant is the soul of our hotel, we love good food and fun gastronomy but we understand if not everybody does. It is not a Hotel-restaurant with a daily changing menu (which we offer at the sister Hotel Gletschergarten) but it is very much loved by most of our guests (two thirds of the restaurant guests are actually external guests, many repeating). We agree that the restaurant experience is not cheap, but I think the prices are fair if you compare it to similar properties, in the village but also internationally. We contacted you upon your booking right away about restaurant reservations for your stay, so we could make sure to have a diversity in dining experiences. If this is something important to you, we recommend booking a larger hotel with more choice. - Lastly, I am sorry that you found your stay expensive, I would like to remind you that we even contacted you to alter your booking situation so you saved at least CHF 800.--1000.-, you booked in the busiest time of the year, this is when the prices are hightest, I think similar properties in similar destinations would have had the same price tag... After all, we would like to thank you again for your stay, we are very happy to have met you and your family, all of you were very friendly and polite to all of our staff, which made us also very happy. Maybe for the next time the Hotel Gletschergarten would be a nice, more cost-effective option for you and your family? It would also be possible to use the Hot-Tub at Fiescherblick ;) Again, we would like to thank you again for everything and wish you and your family a great 2025 All the best from the Fiescherblick Lars Michel and the whole team. We had 5 nights booked during the time of the Eiger ultra trail event. Extremely worth it! First an extra thank you to Andras for making us feel extra welcome and comfortable during the stay, and this, from our check-in to the checkout.
The room was very spacious and comfortable including bed, day bed, armchair and desk. Balcony was great, with a very nice view and its furnitures. Bathroom was modern and perfectly to our taste. All felt very roomy.
Breakfast was well supplied with good local produce and eggs are made to order (excellent). Bread is fresh and you can taste it!
Final note on the location which we found very good. Central enough to be a quick walk to anything in Grindelwald, but also just a bit on the side to not be overlooking the crowd of the city.
Like for the restaurant, would give 6/5 if possible !

The hotel is located just passed the main centre of Grindelwald (about a 2min walk) with a very calming vibe as you enter. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable of activities, restaurants and transport in the area. They accommodated an extra request I had for flowers in the room with no fuss at all. We stayed in room 222, which I highly recommend because the views are unmatched, and the balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy them from!

We were very impressed with the hotel and restaurant (restaurant reviewed separately but it does certainly add to the experience of the hotel stay too). The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the activities in the area, and were able to book tickets in advance for us (and print them directly at the front desk) for things like the First gondola and the trip to the top of Jungfraujoch. Everyone working seemed like they genuinely enjoyed being at the hotel and interacting with and getting to know the guests; very hospitable. Additionally, everyone spoke very good English and was easy to communicate with (we are native English speakers with conversational familiarity in German and French, neither of which we really needed to use to communicate effectively). The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with absolutely stunning views from the balcony. There was also a washer and dryer in the basement that we used as we were on a longer trip and needed to wash clothes; that was very convenient to have access to, although a bit expensive at 5 CHF each for the washer and for the dryer (still worth not having to make a separate laundry trip though). Overall we loved the hotel and everyone there did make our trip more enjoyable!

We had a fantastic 3-day stay at Fiescherblick. You walk into the hotel and you get a sense that everyone who works here does so with a strong sense of ownership, which is in a way distinct from the professional staff of large hotel chains in pleasant and authentic ways. We and especially our four legged friend were welcomed warmly and I enjoyed my conversations with everyone who works here. We had the loft room with a great view of the Eiger and Wetterhorn and the glaciers in between. One of the retractable sunroofs in the room offered the view of Wetterhorn from the bed. Unlike other rooms, I think, loft room had a spacious mini fridge. They don’t offer free bottles of water, but this is because tap water is clean in Grindelwald and because Fiescherblick is seeking to be environment-friendly in reducing waste and energy, which I strongly support. The best thing about the hotel for me was the combination of the stylish lodging with an intimate and superb kitchen. The breakfast spread is not as extensive as some other hotels but every item pulls a punch. We felt so full after each breakfast to keep us strong for the morning hikes. Bakery items are excellent and a special mention for a fried egg (free) and a rosti (small surcharge) combination, which has become our favorite. Dinner was splendid, with exciting wine pairings by Lars himself. We fell in love with Swiss wine, for which Fiescherblick gave us many good intro lessons. Lars spent years at Koks a legendary starred restaurant in the Faroe Islands (now in Greenland) and the style of cooking and the fresh ingredient used reminded me of how much I used to love going to Scandinavia.

The hospitality at the Fiescherblick was excellent. The room is well appointed and the beds quite comfortable. The bath was spacious and the shower terrific. One addition might be the inclusion of a hand clothe for the bathroom. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast.
The staff was excellent from reception to restaurant to housekeeping. Many good suggestions on touring in the Jungfrau region.
The location is nice in Grindelwald with convenient bus transport right outside the front door. Most of the restaurants are within a 10 minute walk.
Bottom line, a fine hotel!

We spent 2 nights in the great Hotel Fiescherblick and found it great from A to Z. Very friendly, attentive hosts who have a huge amount of know-how about food, drink, the village, the surroundings and can anticipate your every wish. Great rooms with everything you need, world-class beds and super fluffy duvets. ;-) We were spoiled with culinary delights at the great breakfast buffet as well as the exquisite 4-course Gault Millau meal. A feast for the palate and the eyes. The SPA area with sauna and onsen bath is also small and fine for diving in and simply switching off! Thank you - we'll be back :-)
