Stayed at the hotel with my daughter in October 2019 and we really enjoyed the breathtaking views from our room. Quite magical. It was off-season, so the ferry no longer stopped at the hotel dock, but I would imagine that would be a real convenience in the height of summer. The hotel is about a ten minute bus ride from the centre of Lucerne, and because we don't mind travelling like the locals it worked for us, especially since it was complimentary. The location is something to consider if you'd rather be in the heart of it all. This is an expensive hotel, but the rooms are very comfortable and a good size for Europe and the restaurant, bar, and gym were all top notch. As well, we got very kind and gracious service at the front desk and were given lots of help in arranging outings. The most spectacular of which was the trip to Mount Pilatus.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we were totally happy and amazed from the view which you can enjoy from everywhere in the hotel. It was a very clean place, housekeeping comes 2 times per day!breakfast was very rich and you can order simply what you want. The Personal there were very friendly from the moment we arrived and explained a lot and offered their help if needed. You become also a voucher for the transportation in the city of Lucern and free wifi in the city. Simply i would recommend this hotel for sure. What i just missed was an indoor pool and it would have been perfect!

If you want to spend few days around Lucern, this hotel is a perfect choice. The rooms are big modern and functional in the new building, the garden is very pleasant with the sun chairs and the food at restaurant is delicious. There is a bus stop right in front on the hotel taking you in less than 10 min to the city center, and the Réception is giving you a free pass valid for few days. We had breakfast in room and it was ready in few minutes, but the table/tray stayed outside for hours. After we called reception a grumpy cleaning lady took it away. The access to the water is very narrow between a tree and the boats. Réception staff is helpful and nice.

After my super advice 5 years ago saying we will come back, we finally did. The hotel is still a perfect stay unfortunately the service is not worth neither the price nor the four stars. I should have noticed when I had problems with my reservation. I replied by phone and by email to confirm my reservation. I received an email of cancellation. There is no communication between the staff. Called again to get my reservation confirmed and received it by e-mail. I was confident it was ok. When we got to the hotel the reservation offer was not what I have asked for. The correction was made at the reception desk with a word of excuse but no gesture of good will. We had booked the time out offer that was nice but not worth it (they had a problem in the kitchen and we were served a bit later but that happens). The staff at the restaurant exception made for two of three of them, don’t look happy or welcoming. In fine, although we enjoyed the location we were quite disappointed by the service AND when you pay a room this price the minimum is to offer the parking fee knowing that the hotel is out of the city center and most of the travelers reach the hotel by car.

The hotel is about 5 kilometres from the Bahnhof and situated on a beautiful part of the lake. The hotel has its own pier and boats can be taken to the centre of Luzern.
The room I had overlooked the lake and had its own substantial terrace - a really lovely feature. The room had been given a design makeover which was definitely interesting, partially superb but with a couple of idiosyncratic features. One major, and one minor.
The minor one was the sink plughole. There was no way to have a sink full of water if you would like one. Maybe some people don't but some do.
The major one is a real design issue. There was an absolutely lovely sitting area. Beautifully done with extremely comfortable seating. But it was located at the entrance to the room and I may be wrong, but I suspect most people would prefer the sitting area to be near the window. This might be a big issue for some.
For me, I was happy with this arrangement so a minor issue really. The major issue (for me) is the lack of a plughole. :-)
The breakfast buffet was excellent. The breakfast location I chose was outside in an area well protected from rain and wind. But beware of the sparrows.
I only had one dinner, and it was certainly good. It is hard for me to find excellent food as I am a vegetarian, and many chefs fail to understand the vegetarian palate. My choice was almost excellent.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel's position is superb and has adequate parking as well as good connections to the centre. The lakeside is very beautiful.

The hotel is characterized by its beautiful location directly on the lake. The view from our suite (521) was breathtaking. You could enjoy the sunset directly from the living room. The hotel has a beautiful garden where you can sunbathe and also jump directly into the lake. On weekends and holidays there is a boat shuttle service that takes you directly to the center. The center is about 3km away and is perfectly accessible with the ebikes, which are provided free of charge by the hotel. Breakfast can be consumed in the room on request. There is also a small gym area available. The restaurant is absolutely recommended, as the view is breathtaking. Anyone who wants to spend some quality time or a beautiful staycation in Switzerland is in the perfect place here.

This hotel is absolutely lovely and is in a great location. The lakeside views from the hotel are stunning. The rooms are well fitted out, modern, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant and in the Beach Club is of a high standard. There is a wide range of options on offer for the buffet breakfast. Outside, the garden is lovely and there are always plenty sunbeds available, which are really comfortable. The staff are so professional, friendly and helpful. Although this hotel is located out of the town of Lucerne it is well worth the 10 minute bus journey, which is free with a bus pass being provided by the hotel. Buses are frequent and reliable and stop right outside the hotel. Couldn't fault anything about it and would thoroughly recommend.

The location is perfect, far enough from city center (10 min drive) but with a magificient view of the mountains across the lake. Probably best spot in Luzern for that. Why not 5*? Small things: at arrival we were told that dinner in the hotel restaurant is not granted (altough considering the covid situation, only guest of the hotel can dine) so being put on a “waiting list” was not really reassuring. In the end, we did get our call at 8:15, but what if we woud’ve not? Basicaly we did buy our dinner outside to be sure and not depend on their call. Another thing that can be OK for some, bathroom and shower do not have doors, so maybe OK for couples but we were specificaly 2 adults with a kid. Really? Last thing... so the panoramic windows are spectacular...but the very very squeking armchairs are ruinuing the atmosphere. Maybe it was just our room.

the hotel room was very nice, large and amazing views from the balcony. Our weekend stay was although ruined because of the multiple accounting / pricing mistakes made by the arrogant reception staff. We booked on a special welcome back pack. At check in however they charged 70 CHF more per night. when i mentioned the agreed pack price, they said the extra was for breakfast...that was however included in the pack I pointed out. she made the adjustment to the agreed price after that. At check out I noted 3 charges on the bill for drinks and food we did not consume. the receptionist first said that i was wrong. i asked for the restaurant bills i singed. i pointed out to her that these 3 items (150 CHF) were not on there. she went to her manager, who sat just behind her. she came back and stated i had to pay it all, they would then check and credit it back. i refused this as i was not going to pay for items i did not consume. she then made a new invoice, but only removed 2 of the items. i pointed out to her she still missed one. she made angrily a third invoice that was finally correct. there was no excuse from her side and her manager who was present did not speak to me or even looked me in the eyes. their rip off attitude is a real shame for switzerland

The staff were very welcoming. They gave us a free pass to use the bus and train system which came in extremely handy as the bus stop is right at the hotel. They also offered free e-bikes to use which were wonderful. We rode almost to the end of the lake. Such a beautiful ride!! The food was excellent at the restaurant and the views from our room, the lobby bar and the restaurant are stunning!! In the room, the shower does not have a door, so water splashes everywhere and they do not provide soap or body wash for the bath and they do not provide conditioner for the ladies for our hair. They also only provide water for the fist night. They also only provide limited coffee supplies and if you need more you are charged. Otherwise, it was lovely

There is espresso, decafe and coffee in the room, as well as shower gel and shampoo. Replenishment can be ordered at any time. There is a filled carafe in each room. Due to the clean and strictly controlled drinking water, the carafe can be filled up at the water tap at any time. We do not transport branded water unnecessarily however, support projects in Zambia and Mozambique with water for water. It would be a great pleasure for us to welcoming you again. On your check in you will receive a bus ticket to use the busses here in Lucerne for free.
For the arrival date you can use your booking confirmation as a ticket to use the public transport (bus) for free.
The bus is running every 15 minutes from the hotel to the city center.
To come back it will be the same frequency.
