The hotel was a 10 minutes walk from the train station which is convenient because there are no Uber’s in Thun. Stayed in room 10, tailor themed design. The vibe is moody mixed with mid century modern. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had an actual separation from the rest of bathroom so water didn’t get all over the floor. They also had a notebook and pencil in the room which we took as souvenirs. The restaurant was amazing - order anything with the rosti. The beef tartare was the best we’ve ever had. Super friendly waitress and hostess. Breakfast was included in the room rate. This was one of our favorite hotels of the whole trip to Switzerland.

Hotel Spedition was easy to find, just around 15mins from Thun mian Station, or even faster around 5 mins walk via bus number 1 from directly outside the main station. The hotel is in a standalone building beside Coop grocery store a garden center and a cinema complex.
The entrance of the hotel is via the reataurant. With regards to the room, it was new and very very clean. It also had fantastic air conditioning which was such a welcome treat as it was boiling outside. Showers and bed were fantastic. I actually stayed in 2 other 5 star hotels before I arrived in hotel Spedition and I can confidently say that the beds at hotel spedition was by far the best. I had the best night's sleep at this hotel.
Breakfast was OK but perhaps just a minor feedback that it would have completed the great stay experience if the hotel kitchen offered a service where we could choose our eggs and how it was cooked. They only had hard boiled eggs.
I would definitely recommend Hotel Spedition. It is one of the better Boutique hotels in Thun for sure.

Moody, dark academia esthetic hotel with plenty of character and interesting details throughout the building. The room was fairly comfortable, and although quite small, it was sufficient for a brief stay. The bathroom is spacious, but the sliding bathroom door does not fully close, which was somewhat uncomfortable.
Hotel advertised air conditioning in the rooms, but the thermostat is locked out at a somewhat warm temperature level and it felt like only the fan was running, which did not sufficiently cool the room. We ended up having to open the windows, which wasn't a big deal, except for the fact that the rail road is right behind the hotel and you can periodically hear the trains.
We enjoyed a fairly short walk to the gorgeous Old Town area, with plentiful restaurant choices, stunning historic buildings and the castle. The walk to the train station was manageable as well and there are busses along the route, should you need a ride.

We had an issue with one of our passports so we had to cancel our room. Hotel Spedition did not honor the stated cancellation policy on the booking. We contacted the hotel directly and had booking company contact them about cancelling before our expected arrival. Hotel Spedition did not honor the cancellation and charged us full cost of the room as if we were a no show. Be careful booking this hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel very nicely decorated. Comfortable, cosy and clean room. Friendly staff and great location not far from the train station and close to the city center. The breakfast was good too. I am definitely recommending this place for a stay in Thun.

It's dark theme which I don't like. The room is quiet but overlook playground which gives no privacy at all. Room is ok with comfortable bed though. Shower area is not close out 100% and resulted in other area of the toilet getting wet. Limited English TV channels. Coffee machine is available at first floor which is convenient. Breakfast choices is limited. It is a bit walking distance from train station main entrance but supermarket and cinema is just next door.

We stayed in the hotel from 13th to 15th Sept. The family apartment was spacious. It was near by the Thun Banhof just 5 mins walking. The hotel Staff and Front desk Managers are excellent. She was really helpful and helped us a lot. Breakfast was also very good. Hotel was clean and well maintained

Well, are you looking for traditional, Swiss style hotel in Thun, that's the place to stay then. Pretty friendly staff on top of stylish room number 13 while Michelin quality restaurant and breakfast.

New, clean, stylish. The Spedition is a very comfortable, boutique hotel between railway line and river in Thun. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Bathroom is terrific with rain shower. Little privacy with sliding glass door but top amenities throughout. Breakfast options are not huge but better quality than your standard Swiss breakfast. Restaurant in hotel seemed very good with a high quality menu. Personnel were very helpful and nice. Only one disappointment: We could here everything from the room nextdoor. Poorly insulated or very thin walls meant we heard everything. Toilet usage included. I hope that was just our room. Interior design was very smart and modern with free coffee machine to use at will. Overall a very good stay.
