It’s hard to describe the beauty of Siena. No photo can invoke the emotion of serenity. The hotel provided us a feeling that we were back in time of medieval glory. The staff was very attentive and gracious. They provided a clean and beautiful room. They also guided us with booking reservations for wine tasting and dinner. The location was close to town and breakfast was delicious. Thank you for kind and warm hospitality. Hope to come back to see the horse race…

I stay in this beautiful hotel this July. I love the breakfast, very tasty and delicious. The rooms was very clean and big. The view from the hotel was unbelievable. The city is not so far, in 10 min by walk you can reach the city center.

Finaly allowed to travel after lockdown so decided on a stopover in Siena. We needed safe parking so decided on somewhere close but not in the centre. We called this hotel to ask if they would accept a dog and two cats and the unflappable host assured us it would be no problem. No extra cost. The property is set off the main road so is very quiet. The views from the lovely terrace and gardens are stunning. The rooms were perfect for us and I loved the quirky mix of antique, liberty and 60's vintage which is typical of properties which have been restored at different times by different owners. Everything was very clean, comfy mattresses and soft towels. Very good breakfast and lovely informative host Lorenzo. We walked back and forth from the hotel to Siena on both days and the walk is quite pleasant, about 20 minutes to Piazza del Campo but only 10 to the Porta Romana entrance to the city walls. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for something different from a chain hotel. I'm sure it will not disappoint!

We stayed here for just one night, but would love to be there longer next time. If you like modern, bland hotels this is not for you. If you like tradition and character in spades then this hotel should be for you. We had a lovely large room with frescos on the walls and ceilings. The views are heavenly across the Tuscan hillside. Breakfast was good, and it was a pleasure to sit with a drink on the terrace admiring the view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well located for the hills, or beautiful Siena.

Perfect for a family trip! The view from the window was stunning! The breakfast was soooo tasty.. there’s something for everybody! The terrace around the hotel is worth walking around, to relax, to enjoy the view..or to have a seat while taking a sip from a glass of wine! Giacomo’s hospitality was outstanding, he gave us so many tips and facts about Siena. If you ask him he will love telling you all about the beautiful city he lives in :) Thank you, we will visit again!
