The only campsite in San Gimignano.. I'm not going back ever again.. Here's why:
The campsite is like a nature campsite, terribly small pitches, all uneven (you seriously have to puzzle how to place your tent and find the most horizontal piece to put your matrass, and even then you tumble sidewards while sleeping). Furthermore it was like musquito paradise.. And i'm allergic to them (so it frustrated me alot). Without noticing i had seriously 56 bites within less than half an hour!!
Furthermore the bathrooms and toilets seem to be quite clean. However I watched the cleaning lady do her job, she seriously used the floorcloth (with an extremely perfumed scent) for the toilets and then used the same one for the showers! And i honestly saw this happen 2 times with two different ladies. Furthermore they did a terrible job, a piece of glass that was on the floor at the beginning (on the floor of the showers) was still there after 5 (!!) days. Moreover the sinks on the toilet were cleaned one during those 5 days and i never saw anyone cleaning the toilets which had stains that to my opinion looked like they could be removed.
The location is quite good, 20 min walk to San Gimignano. Also when it's hot the natural environment provides enough shade so it won't be hot in your tent. We never ate there so i can't say anything about the service. The swimmingpool was tidy.
I expected more out of it, also i thought the price was quite high (2 pers/tent/car €38,- a night)

Great camping! Kind staff, clean accomodation!
Very close to San Gimignano, you can take a bus in front of the entrance. We paid 28€ per night for two persons and a camper.
The showers are very clean and the water stays hot. Nice setting between the trees and the woods. Very advisable!

It’s a Sunday night at 23.30 and there is very loud music playing - AWFUL out of tune singing! Again it’s a private party and only 2 or 3 people listening! We chose the campsite for the location and have booked for 10 nights - really hoping his isn’t regular!

It’s 23:50 and loud music plays right next to about 20 tents. It’s a private party by the way, guests are not invited. We felt all week they don’t really care whether we’re happy or not, but this is just very rude.

We stayed a night here thinking its close to San Gimigno, which it is....and the price was right. Started out well....city bus stops right at the property so off we went to town. It was late when we got back so made the bed and crashed. We woke up at dawn crawling with ants which infested our suitcases, backpacks, shoes....everything we had. At our next stop we literally had to fumigate and wash everything as we opened our bags and there were thousands. In our toothbrushes, everywhere. So not a great experience qñd I wish I had spent a bit more and stayed elsewhere

If you have a tent and not the camping car, you can try other place. Camping is on the steep hill and places for the tents are horrible. Toilets and showers were far away from our tent and you have to climb a steep hill. Prices were also quite high for this quality and wifi was not free, but for 4€/day. On the other hand, facilities were clean, restaurant was good (but with the slow service) and free entrance to the swimming pool was great. Bus service to San Gimignano is also good.

Superb site with an excellent restaurant and bar.
Staff very helpful and polite.
Shower and toilet blocks very clean.
A 20 minute walk from San Gimignano centre which is typically Tuscany Italy.
Couldn't really fault this site and will be back next year when we collect our next lot of new Motorhomes.

Quite a large campsite located 2km outside of San Gimignano. The pitches are large and covered by olive trees. The facilities are numerous and clean (seemed to be being cleaned constantly). There is a public swimming pool 200m away, which guests have free access to.
The onsite restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced, serving wines produced locally. There is also a shuttle bus, running every half hour between the campsite and San Gimignano.

It's always a question. Should european sites speak English or should they be truly Italian? Well this one speaks English. The problem is though that without a full explanation of facilities at check in you simply don't know what's where and when. They are friendly and helpful but this would be my only criticism, that and the poor wifi quality. Buffer, buffer, buffer.
They have a bar and restaurant which I didn't need to try over 2 nights as I cooked myself.
Showers and loos clean.
Simply excellent location and proximity to San Gimignano.
I will come back.
