Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This simply a hidden Jem in Florence .the hotel is in a quieter area of Florence the hotel is very beautiful with the most welcoming reception they can fluently speak multiple languages including Arabic . It’s very close to the train station . There’s a big market in walking distance and a small local pizza /pasta diner in walking distance in which we had the best pizza in Italy there . Our r Pons were very very specious and with a large beautiful terrace . This is a highly recommended hotel !!

We had a suite which is a bedroom with a small bathroom and an entry room with a desk and a convertible sofa that is separated by a door. The view is picture perfect Tuscan countryside. The wooden details such as the black out shutters and moldings are exquisite and show the care with which this hotel was converted from a monastery. Nice breakfast, free parking, easy location to go everywhere.

It is true what they say, the people make the place! Very helpful front of house team, dedicating time with guests, genuine smile and interest. Can't say the same for the breakfast team, very disconnected, chit-chatting during service, felt rushed, table cleared mid breakfast. The dinner service needs a bit of work too, menu not too good and not particular Tuscan, and the food was incredibly salty. The Housekeeping team needs a little bit more attention to detail, failed to replenish our tea/coffee station, floor was not swept during the stay. The bed was the highlight of our stay, soooooooo comfortable! Thank you to Ricardo, Lydia, Umberto and Nicoleta for being so lovely and genuine as well as for their inputs and help throughout our stay!

Situated away from the hustle and bustle of a Florence on steroids ( even in late September) this was a quiet and serene getaway. The grounds were gorgeous. It has gardens all the way around. We ate breakfast in the garden every morning. The breakfasts were wonderful. We were told breakfasts at the hotels were nothing to speak of. Not so! They had everything. You could actually squeeze your own fresh juice. They were all you could ask for. Great food in the restaurant. We actually had the greatest hamburgers ever. I know that’s terrible to ask for a hamburger in Italy. But it was 5:30 and we had not eaten all day and they made us cheeseburgers that were to die for. The rooms were large and clean and quiet and comfortable. Great showers and water pressure. The staff was accommodating and, for the three days we were there, went above and beyond.

Room Tip: Ask the front desk about the A/C. They lock it in a temp but will let you control it if you ask.

Just returned from a week stay here and so glad I chose it. It's an elegant but not stuffy hotel, beautifully clean with lovely newly renovated rooms, gorgeous bathrooms, perfect beds, a fabulous pool area, amazing breakfasts/food and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Thank you for all your help everyone! It's in a quiet, safe area about 20 mins out of town, and on a bus route than works brilliantly during the day (route 17). Found it tricky to get a bus at night back to the Hotel, but if you factor in the cost of cabs (20 Euro), it's perfect. (Not that this is a negative, but worth knowing in case it's important to you - while there is Sky on the TV, there's no English channels other than a news channel, which is a shame if you want a quiet night recovering from walking. Not sure why they don't have that as there were plenty of English speaking visitors there). I chose this hotel so I could do a city break with relaxing hotel/pool days too, and be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and this was perfect. I was also travelling alone and was very comfortable there. If you don't mind the distance (you wont go into town for the day, then back to the hotel to change for dinner and then back to town again - you'll just stay in town for the evening), don't hesitate, book it!

Highly recommended to stay. Upon arrival, we are greeted by friendly staffs. The room is cleaned and we slept so well because the bed is comfortable. The dining in experienced is great as well. would like to compliment your entire staff for being so professional. With smile on their faces, they have been really very impressive in their service. Especially Sabrina. She performed an excellent attitude and service. We would like to encourage all the staffs to keep up the good work. Definitely a hotel we will stay if we ever come back to Florence. The Ng 🇺🇸

The Good - Clean Rooms - Bed is comfortable - Bathroom shower is splendid. Falls like you are in a 'falls'! just like in USA. Luxury in Europe The OK - Breakfast - few choices - typical European, i guess - Family room has two rooms, but two different rooms connected by a common foyer. to got to the other room, you need to open two doors and cross a very small foyer. You can't talk from one room to the other

Super nice hotel. We stayed in a classic room which was a bit small but tastefully decorated. Small kettle in the room with several tea options was a nice touch. The room window has a wooden door that when closing it, it totally blocks the light from outside. I loved it! The view from our room was of green hills and a small field of olive trees. So beautiful and so peaceful! The room, the bathroom and the all hotel area were spotless clean. I have stayed in hotels were sometimes the room is a bit dusty or the bathroom’s utensils are with spots, but in Villa Neroli it was totally the opposite, their cleaning standard were higher than usual. My only advice for improvement for the hotel is to fill the room with more bathroom supplies like body lotion, shower cap and soft tissue. There weren’t any of them and I needed to go to reception and ask for supply. Breakfast- really liked everything that was offered. All products were fresh and of high quality. The bread, the coffee, the amazing fruit salad, the yogurts and everything else were very good. There was even a corner with carrots, pineapple and ginger to prepare fresh juice and a self service pancake machine. Location- the hotel isn’t located in the center of Florence but it is about a 10-15 minutes drive from the center. Since I came with my car it was perfect for me. The hotel has an outdoor free parking, which was extremely convenient . The neighborhood o the hotel is a residential one. It doesn’t have the lively atmosphere of Florence center, but I didn’t mind about it and suited me perfectly. Last but no least I want to note highly the lovely staff of the reception. What a team! Always polite, helpful and genuinely nice. I liked them a lot. Thank you for making my stay a pleasant and memorable.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in September 2022 and it was great ! First we had a hotel booked in the city center but I accidentally booked the wrong year. How lucky was that ! The city was so crowded I would not have wanted to stay there at night also. In addition the hotel prices were crazy expensive ! Because we had a rental car the distance to the city is not a problem. The hotel rooms are great and everything was new and clean . Experience Italian Hotels and you know what I mean ! Normally you have bad and overpriced hotels in Italy in general. This one you will enjoy for sure. Also try the restaurant ! They have great food Overall I can recommend this hotel 100 % if you have a rental car . In addition I want to thank the Management to send me an item I forgot in the hotel room. The service was absolutely great !

I checked in on Sep. 2022 and everything seemed fine, until I left the property and came back. There are not enough parking for all the rooms and if you come back after 7pm the hotel will ask you to find parking on random streets. BTW, you should know that finding parking on streets of Florence is daunting task! Also, the safety of your car/rental car will be at risk too. The hotel reps are very combative and impolite. If I knew this ahead of time, I would never book this place! P.S. I called Expedia and they are NOT any help at all and this is after over $15,000 worth different booking that I have had with them on this trip alone!!! So I would NEVER Book through Expedia in the future. Hope this help.
