We went to Florence to attend a wedding . This was a recommended hotel . What a great choice ! Very close to all main attractions in Florence . Best bit was 5th floor restaurant/terrace . Roberto (restaurant manager) was delightful. Nothing too much trouble...More
Stayed in the hotel for three nights, the hotel has a wonderful rooftop pool and views of florence. It is about a 15 minute walk from the centre which was a bit far when doing this walk a couple of times a day.
Rooms adequate. Nice bathroom and shower.
Above all the rooftop bar was well worth the admission price alone.
Special mention to the sweet girl who looked after my party at breakfast. Also the barman who did not like Schellotto.
We from 8 May to 13 May. We were given a wonderful, spacious room with a balcony. All the staff we dealt with at reception and restaurant were very friendly and forthcoming. The room was spacious, charmingly decorated, well equipped and always immaculately clean. Any...More
This hotel was a very nice surprise. Quiet location 10 min walk from train station and a block and a half from the Arno River. What you need to see is the amazing roof top restaurant and pool area. Gorgeous views of Florence. Breakfast on...More
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
