The one plus point is that the hotel is in a great location walkable distance from all the spots you would want to visit but that's just about it. As you enter, the lobby is an enormous atrium which is very grand but lacking in atmosphere and not somewhere you can while away a co

This was the first stop on our honeymoon in September, and was a perfect start to our trip. The concierge arranged a pickup for us from the airport for 40 Euro, and the driver was waiting for us as soon as we exited baggage claim. The breakfast buffet is great and the hotel resta

The hotel is tucked away in a Piazza just of the main street with it's entrance in a very quiet side street. The inner courtyard with a collonaded walkway and patios with lovely seating areas with only the sound of the tinkling fountain to break the silence is quite magnificent.

This hotel looks very grand from the outside, and even as you enter from the side through revolving glass doors, with its beautiful atrium to the right and the efficient offices to the left. But our room (208), while nicely decorated on the whole and spacious, overlooked a dingy

This hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the city in a classical building with a huge lobby with a large roofless cloister. The room was spacious but a little quirky with three steps down to the bathroom.

Parking? How close?
as far as I recall this hotel is inside ZTL so private cars without special permits can not enter the area. If you are renting a car then contact the hotel and they will advise re parking options and permits to enter the area. We parked the rental car outside of ZTL on the street (for free) and then took a taxi to the hotel, we had car for just 2 days in Palermo to do some day trips. The taxi fare was not much more than parking inside ZTL and paying for the permit (daily?) plus for parking itself.

Can any one recommend a private transfer provider to get from airport to hotel ?
The hotel will arrange a taxi. It's very reasonable - they won't sting you.

Is there a shuttle to the Punta Raisi airport?
Unknown . Please email the hotel. They are very helpful & speak English. I am sure they can answer your question.

what about parking?
I believe they offer valet parking though personally I'd prefer not to have a car in Palermo.
