The hotel is in a great location - right off the Main Street in historic Palermo and walking distance to the four corners. The room was big with super high ceilings and a nice atmosphere. One weird thing - the shower was very small (no...More
I stayed at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa for three nights as a member of a tour group. This hotel seems to be popular with groups. The public spaces are vast and grand. My room was dark, due both to the choice of decor and...More
An excellent hotel in an excellent location. A beautiful building, although a little difficult to find, with good standard rooms and an amazing atrium. Breakfast a little disappointing although not expensive. A bonus is the proximity to a drop off and collection point for the...More

as far as I recall this hotel is inside ZTL so private cars without special permits can not enter the area. If you are renting a car then contact the hotel and they will advise re parking options and permits to enter the area. We parked the rental car outside of ZTL on the street (for free) and then took a taxi to the hotel, we had car for just 2 days in Palermo to do some day trips. The taxi fare was not much more than parking inside ZTL and paying for the permit (daily?) plus for parking itself.
