We spent 3 nights at this hotel in Venice and we were delighted to have started here. The transfer from Venice airport was by water taxi and this hotel was only 5 walk from Rialto bridge water taxi stop. This hotel is in the hart of the City with all amazing restaurants and bars located within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is delicious with a lot of fresh fruit and fresh coffee and delicious food. The transport to and from the city is amazing and well worth it. The train system in Italy is stunning and very really and cheap to get around. We have being there for four weeks in September and we were there for 10 days in December. Ryanair are the best airlines in Europe for getting flights and the only airline to offer flights around Europe

Hotel very clean and surrounded by top rated restaurants. Luciano was a superb host and should definitely get a pay rise. 2 min walk to the grand canal and main square. Enjoyed the breakfasts especially the chocolate croissants which were made in Venice and delivered fresh every morning.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was centrally located, about 10-15 min from St. Mark’s Square. A full breakfast was included w fresh fruit, meats, pastries, eggs,etc. Lattes and cappuchinos were available from the bar, too. Rooms were comfortable although a little too much air on. the hotel was in a busy neighborhood w lots of stores. There was a very nice gelateria nearby. directions to the hotel were clear and easy to follow, and we were escorted to our water taxi on departure. I,d definitely stay there again. 1 negative- the recommended restaurant. We tried to go there. It was full, and the “host” rudely sent us away. There were many other excellent alternatives.

Can not begin to say how amazing the staff where and so helpful. They both saved our first night due to complications with our Air bnb.
Rooms was nice and very comfy in a great location at a even better price.
Luciano put a smile on our faces at 1:30am after a very stressful arrival and Elisa was so helpful and very kind to let us leave our bags there the whole day so we didn’t have to carry them around Venice until we sorted out our issues with the Air bnb.

This hotel was booked 4 to 5 months ago. We are in a 1 star hotel, it was supposed to be large room with a view, Instead, we are currently in the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in around the world. Their excuse was we wanted or you walk in shower so for a walk in shower due to the fact they don’t allocate rooms but that’s what we paid for $600 a night for a one star hotel no view. The bed is like a brick don’t waste your money your on this old rundown hotel that they do not care about you.

Smelly room, rude staff and management, tried to upsell us after we had a bad experience with the room they gave us.
In any other hotel in this world, if you receive a room in a bad condition, they will offer you an alternative. Here the alternative cost 100 Euros more and they said either chose a more expensive room or leave our hotel, disgusting attitude.
Zero empathy for the fact the room they provided was not clean, they didn’t even come up with us to check it! They obviously knew it wasn’t in a good condition because when we arrived the windows were open and it was cold in the room, the bed smell was still there.
They also didn’t speak nicely between each other about us in Italian. Very disappointed.

While the location is right in the center of where all the tourists are, it’s extremely convenient if you want to explore the main historic sites. We found its location made for a great break stop. “April” went above and beyond. Her level of service was first class!

Disgusting place. There were mosquitos and insects in the bedroom, the next morning despite being covered in insect bites they refused to take accountability and just constantly denied it whilst evidently could see body was covered from the bites. Fyi the owner also owns a restaurant down the street called "Trattoria Pizzería Da Gioia" and the hotel staff try to get the customers to head to the restaurant too. That has a 2.7 rating which gives a more accurate representation of the service from the hotel. My mistake in this trip was choosing this hotel; I am writing this review to help future customers. Also the bedding and everything was so old which is unhygienic hence I am not surprised about the insects and mosquitoes in the room.

The room was nice and the staff was kind. They kept our bags after checkout so we could explore more of Venice before our next train ride. From the train station you can take a water taxi that drops you off nearby (google maps is useful). Although, it was a little expensive.

Our 1st stop in Italy was Bella Venezia and April was quite welcoming to weary travelers. She checked us in and gave us concierge advice and was friendly and kind. Our room was spacious and delightful with a canal view. Italian breakfast was delicious each morning. Location is perfect midway between Rialto vaporetto and Piazza San Marco. Beautiful lobby and bar area which we did not get the opportunity to enjoy fully - too busy seeing Venice! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to return one day.

Take the vaporetto to the Rialto bridge and the hotel is 5 minute walk from there in the direction of st marks square. To get to airport there is a bus from the main bus station at Piazzale Roma. Not sure how you get a ticket as we got a round trip ticket from the airport. There a kiosks in the area so would check them out. Allow enough time as the bus was pretty full and some people had to wait for the next one.

Ask to rearrange to be dropped by the water taxi from Marco Polo airport at RIVA CARBON it's by Rialto bridge
In front of you find a little street called CALLE BEMBO; take this one and in 2 min you're there

Hi, about your Question I can say that is not far but it depends.
I rented a car and drove from Milan to Venice.
If you rent a car is less than an hour,in Venice use a parking lot and then take Vaporetto Water Busses nr 2 to Rialto Bridge and then walk like 5 min.
About two hours by Train and then Vaporetto.Train is cheap, clean and fast. I used it in Toscany.Also a shuttle if you like.
There are more places to choose from in the Venice area.
