Everything about Cima Rosa is exceptional! The communication and interactions pre-stay signalled just how serious the whole team is about client experience. It was a surprise romantic weekend - I made the arrangements with the help of Dora, Lorenzo and Gladys all providing helpful information including fantastic recommendations on restaurants and wine bars. The palazzo, is a few short stops from the main station by vaporetto (water bus), and a short walk from the San Stae stop brings you to this charming boutique b&b. Our room, which overlooked the grand canal, oozed understated elegance! And, as planned, a delightful romantic hamper including prosecco, sunflowers and the most delicious selection of freshly baked cakes awaited us on arrival.

Breakfast was scrumptious and included the daily ‘special’ which is not to be missed. The rooms are super comfortable, tastefully decorated and not over the top - which is sometimes the case in top big hotel chains.

The location is a comfortable distance from the madding crowds of central Venice which are highly trafficked by tourists. Yet, most places were a short walk or short ride on the water. Cima Rosa was everything we’d hoped for! The attention to detail is evident in everything from their website, to their welcome, the breakfasts and the suites.

Simply stunning is not an overstatement!

Cima Rosa...what special, beautiful Boutique Hotel. We throughly enjoyed our stay here in June 2021. Brittany is an excellent host and makes a delicious breakfast! We felt so welcome in Venice at this excellent location. Very tranquil atmosphere along the Grand Canal. We also enjoyed the local neighborhood. Very good food close by. Cima Rosa has is own personal dock if arriving or leaving by water taxi or another option, Cima Rosa is close by the San Stae vaparetto ferry stop. We lookforward to staying here again in the future. Come visit us in Mississippi sometime Brittany & your family! Jeff & Mandy

I found a small B& B that feels like a private home, decorated by someone who really has a feel for interior design. It’s no surprise the owner is and architect and interior designer and his American born wife Brittany is a born host.,
My room was lovely with wood beamed ceiling and a view of the Grand Canal. It was also the only room without an en-suite bathroom. Fear not! The bathroom is literally across the hall and it is for your own private use. Since the place is small, there was not coming and going , so you will find restful peace. Breakfast is cooked before your eyes in the open kitchen /living/breakfast room.
The French toast with bananas, fresh strawberries and blueberries was to die for!
Probably the best thing of all were the insider’s tips you get when you stay here. You get a list of the owners’ favorite restaurants (where THEY actually eat) and tips for things to experience based on your own personal tastes.
I found it hard to tear myself away when it was time to go; it is just that kind of place… that feels like home.
I would come back in a heartbeat and I almost feel bad letting this secret out. It’s only for people who really care about an authentic experience. Shhh.

This was our second visit to Cima Rosa and we will return. Love the location, the historical building, the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, and breakfast is delicious served overlooking the Grand Canal. Brittany the owner is a fabulous hostess and full of very helpful tips and suggestions tailored to our tastes. Can’t wait to come back.

I just returned from Venice as I had the best college “move-in” assignment ever — getting to move my daughter into Casa Artom for her semester abroad program at Wake Forest University. The experience was really special and our stay at Cima Rosa helped to make it that way. Brittany, Valentina and the entire staff welcomed us to this “Secret Garden” on the Grand Canal in the Santa Croce neighborhood. Cima Rosa is the perfect blend of a bed and breakfast and boutique hotel with all the modern amenities found within the beautifully restored rooms of this villa. Our room, the ground floor suite, was spacious with a sitting area, windows looking out onto the water and an amazing bathroom with a full bath and separate shower. The decor was elegant but comfortable and the rooms were filled with both Italian and French country antiques. Brittany provided us with an amazing list of neighborhood restaurants and bars which she had curated in her Eat Like a Venetian document. Our morning breakfast in the living room was always so fresh and it was the perfect spot to enjoy a rest in the afternoon to read and catch up on emails as the vaporettos and water taxis passed by the open windows on the Grand Canal. Every recommendation was authentic and never touristy. If I’m so lucky to get the “move out” assignment I will be returning to Cima Rosa and if not this year hopefully in the future.

Picked Cima Rosa from previous reviews and we were not disappointed. Location on the Grand Canal is perfect, just far enough away from the crowds but close enough to be able to walk to most parts of the city. 1 minutes away from the water bus stop so easy to get around, arrival from the airport by water taxi takes you straight to the hotels own private jetty so no lugging suitcases around narrow streets.
Room was perfect overlooking Grand Canal and could easily spend all day watching the boats pass by. Room comfortable and spotlessly clean, more your own room in Venice than a hotel room. Breakfasts lovely and relaxing with “specials” prepared lovingly in front of you which was very very tasty and tempting!
All of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions of where to go and see and what to do, I’m sure we would have missed out on some memorable experiences if we had not been able to discuss things with our hosts.
Will certainly return here when we re visit Venice

My husband and I were fortunate to spend ten days at the delightful and comfortable Cima Rosa. This beautiful and sensitively restored building on the Grand Canal with a charming courtyard garden is conveniently located just steps from a vaporetto stop and many great restaurants in a part of Venice where it’s possible to escape crowds.
Our elegant and comfortable room with a marvelous view directly onto the Grand Canal was atmospheric and breakfast served every morning is not to be missed with perfect cappuccinos and a special dish each day.
Brittany and her wonderful team work hard to make every guest feel at home and she can help plan all manner of amazing outings as well as restaurant reservations. Her recommendations are fabulous and she was especially kind and helpful when my back was out – not only loaning a yoga mat and roller but also putting me in touch with an excellent massage therapist.
For an authentic and truly charming experience in Venice you need look no further.

Brittney and staff offered Class A service in a glamorous yet comfortable setting directly on the water in Venice. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious every morning. A great way to start the day before sight-seeing. The room was large, clean, gorgeous flower arrangement and fresh bottled water every day in the room when you returned from your adventures. Bath products were developed by the owner and available for purchase and smelled DELICIOUS! CimaRosa's location was ideal and the property was magical. Gorgeous courtyard and furnishings. Book this today!

we spent three nights at wonderful CimaRosa directly at located at Grand Canal. The location is central but not too busy located. Our room had a perfect view directly to the Grand Canal... the host Brittany is wonderful and very helpful to make sure you get the real venetian experience in terms of restaurants and places to visit. The breakfast freshly prepared for us every morning, was a nice start into the day....

I did not stay in one but rather one at the back of the house. But, my guess is that they are larger and the view wonderful. Not sure about the tub either. It’s in a truly Venetian neighborhood as well.
