My daughter and I just returned from a European Summer vacation and H10 Palazzo Canova, Venice was our last stay. It was absolutely perfect! An elegant, superbly decorated hotel in the heart of Venice. Walking into the hotel was like a cool, chic oasis from the Venice heat. The interior design and decor throughout was just beautiful. The rooms and bedding were incredibly comfortable and we loved our bathroom view out to the Bell Tower and cobbled street below. The reception staff were so professional and helpful and lovely to deal with. Special mention to Victor who I think was a trainee.

The breakfast was outstanding, the food and again the decor, as were the wonderful staff serving in the restaurant during breakfast. Special mention to our waiter Saif who was so professional and delightful to deal with.

The roof top terrace bar and views were just spectacular, during the day and the evening. A tranquil space with a bird's eye view to the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge in the heart of bustling Venice. Our only disappointment was the food at the bar. This could be improved - frozen packet vegetables in the quinoa salad, the bruschetta served was chopped tomato on toasted bread without condiments or garnish, the grilled vegetables and burrata was served plain also without any flavour. The food in the bar can definitely be improved. One night one of the waiters seemed like he didn't really want to be there as his service to the tables was very lacking. Other than this, the bar itself was fabulous.

Overall it was a wonderful stay at H10 Palazzo Canova capped off by a vaporetto transfer with pick up directly outside the hotel to the Venice airport. Amazing!! Highly recommend!

Never normally write reviews, but with this place we just had too! From the moment we arrived it was superb. We took the public water taxi (€27 each return from Venice airport) and our Stop Rialto bridge was literally opposite the hotel.

Location couldn't be any better!! We were greeted with free water or orange juice and checked in, the room was faultless, modern, clean, and a lot of little extras which made a huge difference, such as....USB chargers next to each bedside table, umbrella in wardrobe if needed, toiletries bag with toothbrush, razor etc, EU,US and UK plug socket so no travel adapter needed.

When we came back to the room we were surprised to see the weather forecast for our stay printed and left on the bed with chocolates also.

Breakfast was nice and all in all every member of staff from reception to the roof terrace bar staff were friendly and all super helpful!!

If your looking for a hotel in Venice this is the 1, 10mins to S.Marks square, 20seconds from Rialto bridge and 3mins from local markets!!

We could not recomend this hotel high enough!!

From the moment we walked through the door (at 00:50hrs in the morning after a long 16 hour journey) we were greeted by Silvia, an extremely helpful receptionist, offering us a drink of Prosecco whilst we checked in. Silvia gave us a lot of really useful information straight away, and settled us into our beautiful room.

The location is right on the Grand Canal, closest water bus stop is just a few minutes walk away, and it's right next to the Rialto bridge, surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars right from the front door.

Breakfast is good, although trying to get breakfast room service was a bit of a challenge with one particularly rude and abrupt staff member, but this is the only complaint I had.

There is a bar on the 3rd floor with a wonderful balcony view across Venice and the Grand Canal. A good selection of Wines, Beers, Cocktails and snacks is available, as dinner is not available in the hotel.

The room is high quality decoration, luxury bedding and a good range of toiletries and lovely towels, bathrobes and slippers.

If we return to Venice, this would be our choice of accommodation.

Perfect position just down from the Rialto bridge. The hotel has only been open for a short while and thus everything feels new, clean and not faded like a lot of hotels in Venice. If you are prepared to sacrifice a view of water your can get a really good room in which everything works for a very reasonable price. The breakfast is minimalist but perfectly good with a choice for most, including gluten free people. Rooftop bar with heaters which was great even in January. No restaurant but with loads within easy walking distance it doesn’t matter. A great place to stay

The Canova Suite had two windows plus one balcony overlooking Canale Grande and a view of Ponte Rialto.

The modern double-pane windows and French door sealed out the noises, and the shutters kept out the light.

The suite, Room 104, comprising a hallway, one full bath, one sitting room, and one large bedroom with a four-door floor to ceiling closet, is spacious, elegant, and includes all conveniences.

Several USB charging and three kinds of outlets make plugging in electronics/ using electic items a cinch.

Breakfast is served in the courtyard. Warm dishes made to order, and a wide choice of breakfast items on the buffet (due to CoronaVirus, no self-service).

I would come back here and stay in exactly this suite again next week if I could.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the H10 Canova. Staff was friendly and quickly checked us in and our room was ready early.

Yes, it is expensive. For the amazing location, it should be. We stayed in the Canova Suite, which had a hallway, a living room, and a separate bedroom. The living room had a nice large window, and the bedroom had a window plus a lovely little balcony overlooking the Grande Canal and a view of the Rialto Bridge. While waiting for our dinner reservation we enjoyed a beautiful evening drinking wine and people/boat watching from the little balcony. Even with the windows and balcony, once the doors were closed, no noise came in from the canal, and the shutters and blackout drapes easily kept out all light if desired.

The rooms are very spacious and include all conveniences. The bathroom is huge by most standards, but especially for a European bath. Several USB ports and multiple types of outlets make charging electronics easy. There is a small refrigerator.

Breakfast is served each morning in the courtyard (or inside if preferred). Warm dishes made to order, and a wide choice of breakfast items on the buffet.

There is a bar on the roof of the hotel with a great view, but given that we had our own little terrace we didn't feel the need to visit the bar.

A couple of minor issues with the rooms that did not detract from our stay but could be addressed:

1. Perhaps we just couldn't figure it out, but in both the living room and the bedroom there was no way to have any lights on (including floor/table lamps) unless the overhead lights were on. We are not a fan of overhead lights and prefer less direct lighting, so it would have been nice to be able to use a table/floor lamp without every other light in the room on.
2. The shower has wonderful water pressure, but it doesn't drain fast enough. Since the tile floor of the free-standing shower is the same level as the bathroom floor, even with the shower door shut it pretty quickly flooded the bathroom floor.
3. There was an unusual odor in the wardrobes - not sure what it was. Kind of a chemical/paint like smell. When the wardrobe doors were shut it was less noticeable.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very nice, the people were friendly and helpful, and the location could not be surpassed. We would definitely stay here again.

This location and level of comfort of this hotel would be hard to beat. The decor and furnishings are very classy, but also incredibly comfortable. The bed was huge with amazing bedding and the bathroom had everything you could need with a brilliant rainfall shower.
The staff were very helpful with check-in, restaurant recommendations and with reserving a table on the roof top terrace. Overall it was an incredible hotel and I would stay here again in the future. The only area of improvement I can identify is the quality of the breakfast. The choice was okay but the quality of the food could definitely be improved to match the standard of the rest of the hotel (e.g. offer fresh orange juice and Parma ham rather than cheaper alternatives)

We have just returned from staying 3 nights in this beautiful hotel which is in an excellent location, just next to the Rialto bridge where you can easily access all areas of Venice on foot. You can get off the water bus from the airport at Rialto bridge and then walk less than 5 mins to the hotel.

The hotel is on the canal front which has lovely restaurants with outdoor seating (and heaters) on the canal.

Stunning decor in the hotel, we were greeted with Prosecco on arrival and extremely polite staff. The breakfast was lovely and we liked how you ordered off the menu (coffees, pancakes, eggs, bacon etc) but then also have the buffet to chose from. The waiting staff were very polite and attentive at breakfast.

The terrace bar on the top floor was amazing, we visited in Feb so it was cool outside but the staff provided outdoor heaters and blankets on the terrace bar so everyone could still enjoy the amazing views. The cocktails were great and the staff were very friendly.

We stayed in a superior (canal view) room and the view from our room was breathtaking, worth every penny to upgrade to this room.

It was my fiancées 30th birthday on Valentine’s Day and the staff at breakfast brought out a little cake with a candle on, these lovely personal touches made our stay extra special.

We would not stay anywhere else in Venice and will be recommending to all our friends & family.

This hotel had everything You would expect from a 5 star Hotel! We were 50 meters from the Rialto Bridge. We booked a superior but it was very spacious, totally renovated and with a large bathroom. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel and the buffet was spectacular with a lot of sweet and savory choices and the possibility to choose hot disches from the menu included in the price. Our room didn't have a view of the canal but we enjoyed the view of the Rialto bridge from the splendid terrace of the hotel bar where the bartender surprised us with some delicious cocktails, my favourite was the "Italian Job"

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. All I can say is Wow , both in terms of the hotel and Venice itself. This was our first visit to Venice and we can’t wait to return, there are so many things we didn’t get a chance to do and see. The hotel is beautiful and modern and in an amazing location, so handy for everything . The staff are friendly and helpful , special mention to Anna who works in restaurant at breakfast and in the roof top bar , she is excellent at looking after customers. The room we had was a superior room Venezia which was slightly more expensive than the superior. The room was lovely and modern but small , the view was a side view and if you stuck your head out window 😂 you could see the grand canal . The bed was comfy and bathrobes were provided . The rooftop bar is lovely but drinks are expensive. There are so many lovely places close by to stop off for drinks , we particularly liked a small bar/cafe just around the corner were we went a few times for Prosecco and Italian tapas. Breakfast is really good with a wide choice of buffet style items including really lovely pastries. You can also order a cooked option such as eggs or pancakes/crepes. It was my Husband’s birthday whilst we were there and they brought out a lovely birthday cake with candle which was a lovely touch. The only thing I would criticise is there is a beautiful lobby area which doesn’t get used to its full potential , I think it would be an idea if drinks were served here also as it seems such a waste of a lovely area. Would love to stay here again when returning to Venice.
