This was rated a 3 star hotel and that is why we gave them 3 stars. Rooms were small and we are used to European Charm. However, the bathroom was so small and hard to even get into. Not sure a tall person would be able to shower! Greeted by two very grumpy workers in the evening. We seemed to be an inconvenience, not a guest. Having said that, the morning staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location was within walking distance of the Piazza.

Our first night in Italy and all we could do was laugh.. Lady at breakfast was nice and the food was ok'ish.. but the room were shocking if not entertaining! if you were skinny enough to get past the toilet and get into the shower you would just make it. the air con was so loud it drove you nuts lol. Room reminded me from something from the 60's. But the location was very good.

Small room with no AC. The bed was a bit hard, but we found that to be the case all over Italy. The shower was also about as small as you could get. However we felt the staff was friendly enough and the breakfast is what was expected from this type of hotel. The benefit to staying there is its location, a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. There is no parking near the hotel, but they do have a garage to use (about a 5 minute walk away) for 21 Euro's per day.

All in all it fit with our overall impression of Milan. It works but we wouldn't need to go back. I'd recommend getting into town to see the Duomo and the shopping areas around it, then staying out of the city.

I have booked this hotel for only one night and was the biggest mistake I have made in my life, 149€ for a pigsty :(. damp walls, small rooms that you can get without air! the toilet was so small that I don't understand what they thought a person could fit in there 😖😖😖 The stairs were so narrow that it seemed as if you would be crushed from the walls, Everything looked dirty and everywhere had a very heavy smell, you couldn’t breath from the bad smell. the cleaning lady used a bucket of water to wash the carpet and the doors and windows with the same one, she cleaned the room with a cloth like she used to clean outside in front of the hotel. The hotel is as old and bad as its name! People , trust the name it has and don't go, I don't understand how they can ask so much for that hotel and that slanderous service.

On my final night in Vecchio Milano, my air conditioner stopped working😒.
I was assisted by the staff on duty. However, the issue was not rectified.😕
My room became warm and stuffy very quickly and almost suffocating😖.
I am travelling solo in a single bed room. The size of my room is tiny, only 9sqm. With outside 25° at this time, opening a window was not appropriate 😓.
I was flying out the next morning, so sleep was crucial at this point.
😴
I had 1 option, sleep on the couch in the reception area with a table cloth to cover myself😮, all lights ON😮, sound of the passing traffic only a feet away😮 and the staff on duty (a strange man) is now on the couch next to me, not only watching me sleep, but is now asleep himself and snoring 😫😫😫.
I was finally woken at 6am to return to my now suffocating room as guests were coming past 😓
At check out the staff on duty was unapologetic, had no empathy and did not compensate me for my humiliating experience in his motel😟 Instead I was told I complain too much, and then asked to pay the tax fee and hurried me to leave😡. I left embarrassed, disappointed, humiliated and in tears😭.
This is NOT how I wanted to experience my time in Milan😩. I have flown 22 hours from Australia. The staff on the morning shift should not be working in a place with tourists if he can not be helpful and make us feel comfortable😠.
Travel memories are memories for life. This will be my memory of Milan.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Spend just a little more and get the service you deserve when you travel to Milan😔.

This hotel is likely for backpackers, but not for ppl who would like to enjoy a comfortable holiday.
If you book it, you have to ready will get mosquito bite in the room. The room is very small and bathroom is very very tiny. Not suitable for foreigners. The late middle age lady who organised breakfast was late to prepare. She was rushing and showed very rude attitude. She couldn't speak English. That's so hard for foreigners living here.

We had a triple room and it was spacious with plenty of space for our luggages and belongings. We lodged for four nights.

The room is cleaned and supplied with towels each day. The bath towels are long and nice quality. The bathroom is huge albeit the shower stall is small (a heavyset won’t fit).

The breakfast is wonderful with various croissants, hard-boiled eggs, juices, marmalades, honey, yogurts, and a great selection of freshly-made coffee. Receptionists and breakfast ladies were all welcoming and very helpful. The hotel faces an alley and we felt safe each night walking back to the hotel from the Duomo; alleys were well-lit with people walking by. The hotel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, and the Duomo. We walked to nearby points of interests. I will stay here again next time I’m in Milan.

This hotel was exactly what I wanted and expected for the price and location. Yes, If I wanted more space in the bathroom and top of the range than I would have booked that and paid a lot more. Instead, I was very pleasantly surprised with the excellent location (7 minutes walk to Duamo and metro stops), lovely and plentiful breakfast, room cleaned every day, excellent air conditioning and friendly and helpful staff. The room and hotel was perfect for me and my son for our 3 night Milan trip. I would absolutely stay here again - don't listen to the negative reviews who expect top class quality for a cheap price.

I don't have a bad word to say about this hotel. It's located eight in the centre of Milan, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and other attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast has plenty of choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Location good, rooms small and old fashioned but plenty of electrical sockets and good bedside lamps. Comfortable bed, good thick window panes for sound insulation. The bathroom in number 1 a little primitive but the shower although a bit small is excellent. Breakfast correct and friendly and clearly others enjoy coming to Milan and staying in this hotel. It’s clean and cosy. We like unpretentious old fashioned small hotels and this is well located

Not that I saw, it's on a narrow street. Better to confirm this with the staff at reception. There are parking meters in the area and I think there is also an underground car park nearby. But I don't know if it's available to hotel guests.
