Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The hotel is in need of new decoration and renovation. The door to our room was scratched and scuffed and did not feel secure when closed. Although the bed was quite hard we found it comfortable for us. The grout in the bathroom is old and stained throughout and needs refreshing. The WiFi is very poor and then broke altogether. No interaction from the staff. No conversation or customer service.

I had no choise but to stay in this hotel because the hotel were my conference took place was fully booked and was not far from this hotel! Everything was of a low standard and they didn´t even serve breakfast just coffe/tea and cakes or a slice white toast with butter and jam! Small and worn out rooms!

Was a very standard room, everything looked clean, but room was small, and the wifi barely reached our room, on the third floor! I dread to think how bad it was for people on the 5th floor. I had to stand by the door to get any wifi signal at all so couldn't use my phone properly while in bed. Breakfast was basic, but the lady serving it was so kind and accommodating, and always wanted to help and get me a coffee or juice, so that was nice, but overall, disappointed for the price.

Absolutely the most disgustingly unclean place I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying. It’s so unsatisfying and there is filth everywhere. It cannot possibly justify its high prices, especially considering its unappealing location. If they took any care and hired new cleaning staff who took pride in their work, the place might be salvageable but its current extremely low ranking is appropriate. Avoid.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast was delicious and there was hot water, but that's all good I can say. The accommodation is shabby, the walls are paper thin, you can't rest, the bed springs are stretched out. Luckily we only spent 2 nights here. I don't recommend it.

The hotel had a great location since the public transport had near stations to it.
The hotel was not updated as regard furnitures, but it was clean and it made us feel at home.
The staff was very friendly and really polite.

Terrible experience, our room was adjoined to another room and it felt like we were in the same room. The noise levels were terrible from the next room. The walls were paper thin and we do not sleep due to the noise. The room was very average, very old, clean, but very dark. The air conditioning is ancient, and we had to switch it off as it also kept us awake.

I will not stay in this hotel, if I go back to Milan. Everything is small in this place, rooms, bathrooms, elevator even the the room where they server continental breakfast. This hotel should be rated one star not three. It is also very pricey comparing the price that they charge.

We have just got back from this hotel after competing in the 5 Nations Squash tournament at nearby Polisquash Club (which we won). We were originally booked in at Sunset City Hotel which is located on the next street, (do NOT stay there, it was dirty with cigarette ash over floor and stank of urine) but because of the state of that place we moved to this Hotel.

Our room was spotlessly clean and Fabio in particular was such a lovely receptionist, great sense of humour and went out of his way to help us. We stayed on 5th floor, our room was simple, light and airy and had a tiny balcony which was lovely to have the doors open in the heat. The shower head was a bit dodgy but that was only complaint about the room.

There are so many local pizzaria's and a few local shops (great fresh pasta at end of street) with a market nearby on Friday's. The tram stop is a minute or two away from the hotel (10 minute journey into Central milan). Metro was about 10 minute walk. We flew to Bergamo airport, got shuttle for €7 to Central Station, then taxi to hotel approx €8.

Make sure you agree the price before staying if booking face to face with hotel as we had problems with a jobsworth night time receptionist who tried for 20 minutes to get us to pay higher price. Apart from that experience this hotel was great.

If you want a base for shopping and exploring Milan without paying Central town prices, our room was €95 double without breakfast, then this would be a good choice.
