We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel to stay. Every room has a sofa which is a great addition to any room and welcomed, rooms are large and great mattresses ensure a great nights sleep. Preferred rooms internally as quieter than on street side. Any issues were resolved at earliest convenience. Every member of staff at the hotel go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. The Reception Team became like family and nothing was too much to assist us in every way possible, Carola (Superstar!) Alessandro & Luisa (Both very kind and friendly) and of course, sincere Mr Erik, are an amazing team who offer 5 star service with a personal, friendly and caring touch. They made us feel very special and home from home during our stay. The cleaning team greet you every morning and go out of their way to make your room and provide anything you need during your stay. Great towels and robes! The hotel is in a great location too in China Town, a short walk from Sempione, and several trams stops within 5 minutes walk in all directions of the city. Via Paolo Scarpi have some great places to eat, the Ravioli are a must at the take away and enjoy a cappuccino at Montesana. We can’t wait to return to Milan in safer times and we will certainly be returning to this hotel when we return. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Stay safe and sending you all un grande abbraccio.

We arrived at the hotel on the 24th, we planned to stay one night and go visit other places like Como, and lake Maggiore, but because the distances between places were so small and fast to travel we ended staying for 4 nights, and changed the room one time.
In our first room the toilet was not working properly, and water was leaking out of it s side, we mentioned the problem, but we were supposed to leave for Como anyway, and check-ed out, but came back and checked-in again in the evening and took another room. This room was much nicer looking but had the same hygiene problems, if you looked behind everything it was really dirty, a lot of dust, and a lot of things in the room were damaged.
Another point to say is that the parking is not free for guests as it is said on booking, it s actually 17euro a day.
I mention that we paid 188e per night and 17 for parking, we expected that the hotel would be much cleaner. Most of the hotel s restaurant staff did not know any English and it was really hard to order, the brought us the wrong order for 2 times in a row.
The room's mattress was really good, and the room temperature was spot on.
The hotel s location is wy it is so appealing, it s in the heart of china town Milan, a lot of good places to eat, buzzling night life, were close to Sempione park, the Triumph Arch, and about 2 km from the Dome.

Providing our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience is of extreme importance to us and for that reason we are incredibly sorry that we may have missed the mark. We are sorry to learn about the cleaning service, we can assure you that this is not our standard and your observations will be directed to the hotel management for appropriate corrective measures that need to be taken. We look forward to hosting you again so that we can share a better stay with you. Best regards, Erik - Front Office Manager

The beds are small, like really small for anyone not Italian. Breakfast is served in a room with bright neonlights, not what you want in the morning.

Scrambled eggs got stale and bacon was not cooked more than halfway.

The staff is working hard, but you can tell the hotel is old and worn.

paid 210 eur per night on a group rate.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The location is very accessible to public transport and Duomo/ Milan Central station can be easily reached in less than 1/2hr. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.
However, the interiors/facilities of the room we stayed in definitely needs an upgrade to meet 4* Standards.
We had to ask for coffee tea making as it was not readily available in the room though advertised as std. availability for all rooms. There was no milk in the supply and we were asked to go to the restaurant and get some if needed!!!
The mini-bar was empty!!!
The bath tub drain was blocked which was promptly dealt upon notifying the following morning.
The A/C control looked broken, but thankfully it was working.
Overall stay was pleasant and will definitely consider in the future.

Only a 2 minutes walk away from the main shopping road of Chinatown - ideal if you want to visit or do business there. We appreciated the private parking garage.
We reserved a suite (as we were together with our son) which proved to be spacious and clean, however in rather old decoration style with plush furniture, wall to wall carpet etc.
Unfortunately TV did not work, but the daily rate was very reasonable.
Although situated right off Chinatown it was quite calm during the night.

Visit the Far East in Milan. The Leonardo lies in the heart of the Milanese China town, a very lively area both in daytime and in the weekend nights. The hotel is very spacious, the public areas, breakfast restaurant and the rooms and offers all the necessary amenities and services. The rooms, partly a bit tired are well-equipped and the bed was very good and bathroom fine. Everything was clean and tidy, some furniture showed its age.

The breakfast was plentiful, a lot choice including hot items, fresh fruit and bread, the usual charcs, but also salmon. Sweet bakeries were also very nice.

Due to the location there was some street noise, but the for the walkers and tram users it is very convenient. A 15 minute walk to the Garibaldi railway station with connection to Malpensa. But the train station is a bit of a mess...

The WORST hotel I have ever experienced! Very poor customer service from the staff including manager. Upon arrival, they were reluctant to help us as we booked 2 nights here via booking.com and apparently they had no reservation on their system. They were very rude and after several phone calls I made to booking.com they acted as though they did not receive their emails with the confirmation they sent to the hotel. Instead of giving us some options and consideration (we had paid for this and we showed them evidence too) they just said “without the confirmation number we can’t do anything”. We had check in numbers, booking number and pin but the hotel staff didn’t approve of this. They didn’t offer no hospitality or sympathy whatsoever. I highly do NOT recommend.

Dear Grace, We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. You had been asking a paid room that without a valid reservation number we couldn't give to you. We offered you to book a new room and we called with you the customer service of the portal used for the reservation without success. We receive a lot of compliments regarding our friendly staff; thus, I am shocked to learn that you were not made to feel welcomed. I can assure you that you have not experienced our ordinarily high standards of service and I sincerely apologize for this. Our goal is to provide consistent and exemplary guest satisfaction so your comments will certainly help us in filling in the missing gaps in our continued enhancements. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, so that we can provide a better experience. Best regards, Erik - Front Office Manager

I'd describe it as an average hotel with friendly and helpful personnel. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time and luckily there was a room ready for us. Cleaning of the room was OK. Breakfast was perfect. The restaurant in the hotel has average prices for food, but drinks are overpriced. The location is OK, if the weather is nice, it's possible to get to the main tourist attractions in half an hour on foot. it takes you 15 minutes on foot to get to Porta Garibaldi station from where we took a train to Como and Malpensa airport...

Well appointed hotel with large rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in Chinatown meaning there are many restaurants nearby. Prices reasonable for central Milan several tram routes run nearby and a Metro station is not too far away.

Hello Dr. Tracy Phillips, Take the train, this wil cost only around €13,00 first-class. From the train-station Milan to your Leonardo Hotel Milan City Center you will need a 30 minute walk, or grab a taxi, or ask the hotel for a pick-up. A taxi from the airport will cost you up to €100 plus. google; malpensaexpress

Depending which airport you mean, there is more than one. We arrived in the Bergamo Airport, which is far away from the city. We took a bus ride (1 hour) to Milan city center and then a 5 minute ride on the subway to get to the hotel. There are also trams stopping close to the hotel, it's in a good spot.
