Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Once we managed to get through the one way systems, it was easy to park inside the courtyard. A friendly owner showed us to our room. Decent size and good bed. The air conditioner was a bit tired. Tea, coffee, water and juice provided. We ate twice at a good restaurant-Il Forchetto.

Lovely place in the old city centre. It's charming and adorable. I've been welcomed nicely and provided with a city map and recommendation for a good restaurant not 2 minutes away. Additionally, there's an inside parking so you can sleep soundly. Inside parking was €5 for my motorcycle.

We stayed just one night in Piacenza and in Il Cortiletto. Very nice room and bathroom, private parking on site, very clean room, great wi-fi and also friendly host. Also very nice location. All in all quite good value for the money (two rooms for four people 172€/nigh). We arrived quite early but our rooms were already ready. And that is always plus. Also free water and some juice in fridge. Big minus was that in our room (6B) the air conditioning did not work properly and it was so hot. Almost impossible to sleep. In our friends room it worked. You should also note that you have to carry your luggage at least to first floor and with heavy luggage that is not nice.

Visiting friends in Piacenza, I wanted a small guest house close to the station for day trips by train to other nearby cities. This part of the Via Roma is not a tourist area but it is an easy 15-minute walk to the historic center and less than 10 minutes from the station. My room was quite lovely. The bed was comfortable, the new bathroom spotless and the water always hot. There is no coffee shop. Instead of breakfast, they leave in the rooms some Nespresso capsules and tea sachets, two croissants and two packets of toast with jam. Water and orange juice are in the fridge - all included in the room price. My one complaint concerns noise. There was occasional noise in the area next to me. Worse, this is an old building with wooden beam ceilings and floors. I am not sure who was above me (I was on the first floor up) but the noise between 9 and 10 pm was incessant. Outdoor shoes on wooden floors, lots of moving of chairs and a few other bangs and items being dropped. Thereafter it all but ceased, but if you want an early night, request a top floor room if such are available.

We stayed here for 1 night while passing through the area. The place is located close to the city center and has a parking at moderate cost. Room is beautiful, clean and well equipped. It even includes an air conditioning system. Bed and bathroom are great. Precious little is provided as breakfast but we knew so weren't bothered. Owner speaks little english, but we could understand each other just fine for the necessities.

Very nice rooms decorated in Italian style with old furniture and new beds and bathrooms, very cool and well selected. Breakfast was non, just a role and an orange juice - but a nice offer. Centrally located but not at the market place, hard to park with a car and an extra cost for tourism and parking. Service was offered for parking and welcome service but language was maybe to different to be 100% in sync.

Stayed here for two nights . It's very near to the center of piacenza . Just a 10min walk. This is a little gem. The owner speaks little English but wasn't a problem we all made ourselves understood. The bedrooms are small but nicely done with some nice Italian furniture. Bathroom very clean and amazing shower cubical in our room. There is coffee making facilities. There is a very nice roof terrace to sit out on after a long hot day sightseeing. There is parking in the court yard at a charge but was worth paying as our van was safe. The night before we left the owner brought up a bottle of wine to our room for us. Such a nice touch. Would recommend a stay
