The MOH Villa Ducale hotel in Parma is the spectacular result of a harmonious coalescence of contrasting architectural styles.First constructed as the official residence for one of Parma's noble families, it has since been transformed into a luxurious hotel, which in two "dedicated" wings, offers either the characteristic charm of the historic building or the serene environment created by innovative modern design.Just one km from the 'Parma Centro' motorway exit and just a few minutes from the historic city centre, the hotel boasts an ideal strategic location which yet again reflects its distinctive duality of history and modernity.Tourists can spend a captivating holiday discovering the many artistic, gastronomic and musical treasures that Parma has to offer; a city that still pays homage in many artistic forms to the Maestro of Italian opera, Giuseppe Verdi.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was visiting Parma, Italy for an exhibition and was suggested this property by the team. I entered at 1am, due to flight delays and was surprised to find a gentlemen at the reception, kind enough to offer my beverages & some packed snack. Check-in was smooth and was allotted a room on the first floor. The room was really, really small, compared to Indian standards but eas compact with a work desk, crisp liners of bed sheets and a nice bathroom. The room, presuming I was solo, is just good for one person not suitable for a couple, may be that’s why was allotted this room. The shower is good, toiletries provided are good as well. Breakfast is available, basic but really good quality like amazing croissants, Parma ham, scrambled eggs, fruit, yoghurts, milk, and of-course, amazing Italian coffee. The hotel is nestled in a quiet road, but also faces the main road, no such disturbance though. About a 7-8 minute walk, there is a small mall that has a big supermarket and few other shopping zones, including a pharmacy. The mall also has a few options to eat, coffee shops as such. Coming back to the hotel, they have a restaurant that serves really good food and is quite reasonable. Mobile network, Wifi are fantastic. As you enter the hotel there is a bar, they serve drinks (paid) and munchies (free) Pretty good place (decent & simple) to chill post work with Aperol and munchies. Smoking is allowed outside of the reception area. All in all, small & compact but yet so neat and comfortable that I will definitely visit it again, if travelling to Parma for work. Safety: absolutely safe Hygienic: absolutely Worth the money: absolutely

My parents and me stayed in this hotel during the bank holiday of the Saints, between November 2nd and November 4th. Our experience was positive, the rooms are clean and liveable (my parents’ room was in the older part, mine was in the more modern one), the staff is helpful and the breakfast is delicious.

I'm giving 5 stars based on what you can reasonably expect for the price. It's well-located for the autostrada having got off the ferry in Bari that morning and driven up through Italy. Our room was spacious, clean and pretty basic - though it did have a refridgerator which was great. Good bathroom and shower. Breakfast was excellent though we didn't have dinner but went to Osteria Imelde 10 mins walk away, which I'd recommend. Dog friendly, plenty of parking and seemed secure. Would certainly stay again.

A quaint spot to stay for a quick over night in Parma. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. There is a dining room on site which was very helpful for us with great food. I recommend the gnocchi! They offer on site parking too. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed a cappuccino just off the lobby in the afternoon.

I arrived late at night and found extremely kind staff at reception. The hall completely available with video, wi-fi, soft music, power corner for devices, coffee. Parking place always silent and comfortable in the green. The outdoor is a great meeting point even at night with comfortable modern business sofas. The staff welcome past clients.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were 2 adults, 2 children and a small dog. We loved that his hotel was pet friendly. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed are really comfortable and we all slept very well. The restaurant had excellent service and food. The tiramisu is heaven! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Clean and tidy, just seconds from autostrada it's perfect stopping point travelling to North Italy. Recommended for short stay or for stay outside of Parma city traffic jams. Staff is pleasant and very efficient.,

The hotel room itself was just average. The room was small for the price paid and the bedding was typical for the area: heavy duvet with no separate flat sheet, thin pillows. The shower was large with ample hot water. Amenities were sparse with no in-room coffee or tea. Hotel parking was easy as there are plenty of spaces available onsite. The location was easy to find, but it is a bit outside the city center, so you’ll have a short drive for seeing the old town and other dining options. The best meals that I found in Parma, however, were in this hotel restaurant: breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent.

Easy to park outside and nice welcome. Rooms good and well equipped but TV is small and hardly any UK channels even though loads of choice. Bar well stocked and offered free food/snacks. Breakfast very good. Would stay again.

Wow.. it does not look much, the rooms are clean, some touch ups could be good in the rooms. but the restaurant made up for the lack of personality of the hotel. Fun , almost siciliana familytype experience. Great fun.
