Aldebaran b&b, situated in the heaart of Rome, was born in March 2006 in Laura Tiberi's family house. It all started with her imagination, from souvenirs of trips made, and the historical memory to which this place belongs. The idea was to create a unique location, full of charm decorated with warm colors and styles, between the private dwelling and a real and refined hospitality. Breakfast is served in a quiet and bright living room where you can breathe an atmosphere which makes you feel at home but in a mixture of cultures and languages. The homemade bread, the water taken directly from the source, the aroma of our coffee "espresso", a delicious cappuccino, made from a special recipe and other delicacies, make the start of your day a unique moment together with the sympathy of Laura who is always eager to give you valuable information and important tips to discover the beauties and treasures of the Eternal City

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I went to Rome in October 2022 for our delayed honeymoon. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Our host Laura was wonderful: she's friendly, fun and really knowledgeable about the local area. It's around the corner from the train station and it's centrally located so we were able to see all everything we wanted to in less than 2 days so we were able to check out some of the local hangouts. We had a bedroom with a shared bathroom. The bathroom was always clean and the door looks like it's built into the wall which was a neat little quirk.

Amazing little spot! Located away from the craziness of the city, but still close enough for easy access to everywhere you may want to visit. The host was so kind and accommodating. She was available for all of our questions, provided us a detailed breakdown of the city, and gave us lots of tips and tricks to get where we needed to go. The entire home was extremely clean. Our room had air conditioning, a hair dryer, and a private bathroom. We had access to a coffee maker and little treats for breakfast. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The perfect stay!

We loved our stay at Aldebaran! Our host Laura was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us wonderful insights into Rome and great dining recommendations. Aldebaran is so clean and comfortable. The space is eclectically decorated and beautiful. Our room was perfect. Easy access to public transportation and a quick walk to the coliseum. We walked around at night as well and felt safe. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone going to Rome.

We spent five days in Rome and could not have chosen a better accommodation for our vacation. We highly recommend Laura's bed & breakfast to anybody! First off, it's very comfortable, well maintained, decorated with taste and you have ample room for all your belongings. The location is great. You can walk to the Colosseum and the Metro is even closer than that. Then, of course, there's Laura, the kindest hostess and a truly great person who makes you feel right at home. Also, the breakfast, prepared by her, is great, not only for Italian standards. You won't leave hungry, promised!

Such a beautiful B&B perfectly situated in Rome for all the sights. Our room was very clean, with plenty of storage and a comfy bed. Breakfast is served every morning fresh with homemade goodies. As every review states Laura is beyond amazing. She is so helpful and would do anything for her guests. Our flight was delayed 4 hours meaning we would arrive late and it was no problem for her, she was so attentive. If we we ever come back to Rome I wouldn't hesitate to book here again and I will make sure to recommend to any friend/ family travelling. Thank you Laura

A comfortable and inexpensive place to stay. - Great breakfasts, tailored to each guest. - As everyone mentions, Laura is a great and simpatico host, willing to help in any way. - I had a shared bathroom, it was literally next door to my room and always clean. The neighbourhood doesn't quite exude charm, but is safe and their are many hotels and restaurants dotted around. Laura helped me find good places to eat. My main concern when I booked a room here was that it might be too far out of the centre of Rome. However I turns out that if you are able to walk for 20 minutes you can walk to the forum/Colosseum. If not, there's a Metro stop close by and, with a three day ticket I was able to get all over Rome with ease.

We stayed 3 nights in Aldebaran and couldn't have loved more. Laura was really friendly, helpful, had attention to all the details. Her place is located in a nice street and is beautifully decorated, the room was very comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything we needed to a perfect stay while exploring Rome. She also gave us important tips about transportation. The location is very good (easy to reach from the Roma Termini), you can walk to Colosseo and the Metro station is close. The bathroom was always clean, we shared with only 1 more room and had no problems at all. We would like to come back to Rome soon with more family members and would definitely stay in Aldebaran again.

I stayed 4 nights in Aldebaran´s B&B and it was the best place I could ever be in Rome! I loved the cozy room and bathroom, the terrace full of light with lemon tress and the neighboor, very authentic, calm, next to the center and next to Termini train station. Laura was incredibly helpful and really nice all the time. I will definitely come back.

We stayed for two nights at Aldebaran. We were greeted by Emma and Anastasia who checked us in and told us about the city. They provided us with a map and suggestions for areas to travel to or avoid. They were enthusiastic to make sure we had all the information we needed for a great stay in Rome. We were on a room on the 1st floor (2nd floor in US) and they assisted us with getting our bags up to the room. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was big as well. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable!! We met the host Laura the following morning as she prepared our breakfast. She was very hospitable and accommodating. The breakfast was freshly prepared. Laura encouraged us to store our luggage at her place on the day of check out as our train was not leaving until later in the day and provided us with keys in able to easily come and get them. Very friendly host! The location is a couple of blocks from the metro and bus stop, which easily gets you to many sights in Rome. Would definitely stay again!
