Spent 6 nights here and would certainly stay here again next time we visit Rome.
Plus points: Location Great shower Heating system Cleanliness Helpful & friendly staff Help yourself continental breakfast Short walking distance from Barbarini Metro
Negatives Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in room Very limited storage in rooms (lived out of suitcase, as only a few hangers and 3 tiny drawers) Loud TV playing pop music at breakfast!!

We returned to this hotel after staying there last year because it is an excellent choice if there are 3 guests, as it is possible to have rooms with two separate areas, as well as a comfortable walk-in closet and a decent-sized bathroom; It would be optimal if the master bedroom also had a desk and a chair on which you could place something. Being close to the Quirinale-via Nazionale tunnel, you can hear the traffic in the early hours of the morning, however the noise did not prevent us from sleeping. On the other hand, the hotel's location is optimal for reaching places of interest and for convenience to various means of transport. Breakfast is quite good with a good choice of sweet and savory foods, a decent choice of juices, while the hot drinks dispenser dispenses poor quality coffee-based drinks; fortunately there is a bar area available. Wi-Fi worked well. The lift is very small: 2 or 1 person and one piece of luggage can go up, however, as it was a low-crowd period, it was almost always free.

Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. The rooms are quite small, not surprising but as Rome was the first stop on our trip, it took us by surprise. The housekeeping staff were exceptional and the sleeping area and bathroom sparkled. One thing I noticed about the room is that the HVAC unit had a musty smell so I opened the window for fresh air, rather than using the system. This worked fine except when the cigarette smoke from the street wafted up into the room - even at 4:00 AM. Keeping the window open also meant being woken up by drunken tourists nightly. We were less impressed by the breakfast buffet. Not a great deal of variety and EVERY morning at 9:00 things were quite picked over and the fruit etc. were not replenished. We were also having to ask for clean cutlery as the baskets were empty. The pastries were fresh. They had an excellent espresso machine at the bar, but wanted people to use the self serve machine which made substandard coffee, cappucino's etc. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Everyone could speak better English than our (duo lingo) Italian. A very good stay. The location was also very good, with just a short walk to the Trevi Fountain, aqueduct etc.

Extremely bad hotel. Rooms smell mold, a double bed and a child's bed were requested and 2 single beds were combined to become a double bed that was living open. Doesn't work towel heater. The shower was getting cold all the time. They charged 15 euros for breakfast per person, including my 8-year-old son who took only a cumbuca of cereal with milk and nothing more. The street noise is dwarfing to sleep, in addition to having a lot of noise internally. Advice, don't get near this hotel.

Booked this hotel for the attic room hoping to sunbathe after walking around Rome exploring. Was told that the sun beds were rusty and they were waiting for new ones which was annoying
Room was nice and spacious. Bed very comfortable, and the air con was brilliant and not noisy at all. TV channels couldn’t find any English TV channels and watched pet videos on the pet collective channel instead. Shower was on the small side but didn’t bother me. Room had a payable mini bar too. No tea or coffee making facilities either (but I knew this when I booked)
Didn’t have breakfast as it was €10 for a continental spread with no hot food. Restaurant remains closed for lunch and dinner as they are waiting government approval to open.
Great location and we walked everywhere with no need for public transport. 5 mins to trevi fountain, 20 mins to colosseum, 35 mins to Vatican City and 15 mins to pantheon.
The elevator is tiny! Could only fit two people or one with a suitcase (didn’t bother us) and didn’t have to wait or queue for the lift. We did have an extra flight of stairs to climb as we were on the 6th floor and the lift only goes to the 5th
Hotel communication was great, they arranged a taxi for us to and from airport at €50. Worth while booking with hotel as it appears to be a fixed price with taxis to FCO airport and we had an E Class from the airport and a Vito to the airport which was comfortable.
Staff were friendly and attentive too. Water is drinkable from all taps with fountains located nearby.
You have a coop opposite for shopping bits and various pubs and restaurants within walking distance
Definitely would stay here again but the hotel needs to think about putting kettles in their rooms and make sure they have sun loungers for the high season!

I stayed in this hotel for two evenings to tour Rome over Christmas. The location is excellent, it allows you to get around on foot without using public transport. The room was small in size but the bar where they served breakfast was nice. Friendly staff, I'll be back.

Rooms were clean, beds were good, very nice bathrooms. Very friendly personnel, helpful and forthcoming. Breakfast was OK, except for the juices, which were watered down.
The location is great , so central that everything within the Roman center can be reached on foot - a supermarket just across the street, the Trevi fountain three and Saint Peters about 20 minutes away, on foot.

Really nice and central hotel, a short stroll to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. The colosseum, Pantheon and other landmarks are all within 20 mins walk.
Service in the hotel was excellent and they organised transfers which were only 60 euro each way, a taxi is 50 but was nice to take the stress out.
Only negative would be the bed was a little soft and the room a little stuffy at times.

Very clean hotel a few tens of meters from the famous Trevi Fountain. We stopped for just one night passing through, an excellent choice for the location which gave the possibility of visiting the center of Rome without any difficulty. Villa Borghese car park just over 10 minutes away on foot along the well-known Via Vitt. Veneto. Friendly and helpful staff, varied breakfast both sweet and savory, served in what from a certain time onwards and in the evening becomes a real cocktail and wine bar.. We will definitely be back.

We stayed 5 nights for our 30th anniversary. We chose the small double knowing it would be small but it didn’t bother us as we spent each day and night outside exploring the beautiful city. The room was very clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent and the room was cleaned each day. There’s no kettle in the room but there is a small fridge. We wanted to save money on breakfast so we bought some milk, cereal and disposable bowls and spoons from the coop across the road. The location is perfect. Overall, I’d highly recommend Hotel Fellini. Our only negative point is that the particular person on reception when we arrived gave us no information about Rome, no map showing landmarks etc. and the same person when we left said the train station is 10 minutes walk up the road when it was over a 20 minute walk and not simply up the road. We’d already researched these things but it’s nice to get confirmation. I’ve read comments about a terrace but we were not told about this if it was available. Also, there’s a few Wi-Fi networks available and we were only told about one which had very poor reception. As soon as I asked another person I was given the correct information and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Again, I’d highly recommend the hotel but thought it’s balanced to note our slight disappointment with one person on reception who was polite but did not give us all the information we’d expect for first time visitors to Rome.

The hotel don't have a problem leaving luggage if you arrive before check in time, also if you check out and have an hour or so to spare. Very helpful staff.

We didn’t take the breakfast option either but when we got there they informed us that breakfast was free and included.
The breakfast was fabulous with amazing coffee machine.
There are more places to choose from in the Rome area.
