We initially elected to stay here based on the $600 dollars we would be saving (compared to other Accor hotels closer to the city centre) - we were not disappointed!

We selected this hotel because it had the best price and is close to the Piazza Bologna subway station. We were not disappointed. Rooms were quite small (not much bigger than the bed) and same for the bathroom but that's not uncommon in European cities....More

We took the Leonardo Express from the airport. About 20 minutes to Rome Termini. You can then get a Metro direct to Bologna. There is a bus which does the same journey from the bus station outside Termini station but I think the Metro is easier and probably quicker. Even with luggage you should be able to walk to the hotel in under 5 minutes from the Metro station. The Leonardo is probably the most expensive way to get in from the airport - apart from a taxi - but it is direct and specially equipped for people with luggage and it goes straight into the main transport interchange at Termini. Remember to endorse your ticket before getting on the trains.
