Residenza di Ripetta a historic former convent in the heart of Rome. Residenza di Ripetta with its verdant inner courtyard is a place in which to take a tranquil pause from the city outside. A 17th century baroque former convent, artwork, statues, precious sculptures and original frescoes adorn its spaces. Found at the very heart of Rome's historic quarter, the Piazza del Popolo is on the doorstep. Serenity prevails in Residenza di Ripetta's understated guest rooms and suites. Spacious rooms benefit from high ceilings, original architecture, classic styling with modern accents.

Booked a room through hotel tonight. As hotel policy states that kids under 10 stay free when sharing room, I booked a room with Double bed and a crib. Upon arrival I was told there will be a 30 Euros upcharge for the child who is 3 years old. When I argued the policy, the hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect, near Piazza del Popolo, 3 minute walk from Flaminio Station and we walked to all the main attractions. If you don't want to walk you can catch the train! The staff at the hotel were lovely, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very

The hotel is in a beautiful old building, just south of Piazza di Popola, so in a great location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. As others have said, this is not a modern faceless hotel, and it could be magnificent if money and some more care and attention were

This isn't one of those ultra-modern hotels but rather has a very traditional style which some would find dated. I however found it pleasant, warm and comfortable, in other words a small hotel with character. The location is convenient in central Rome, depending on where you

What is the nearest train station to this hotel? What is the nearest airport? Thank you
Yes the airport is Fiumicino (FCO) and the train description above is correct, however the main train station is Termini I am not familiar with Flaminio that maybe a subway stop.

It was wonderful!!
Personally, I would never drive in Rome. The traffic is crazy! Taxis are relatively inexpensive. If you are returning the car at the airport, you can easily get a cab. However, it's not a short distance from the main Rome airport to the hotel (or any centrally located hotel). And, of course, all this depends on how much luggage you have to carry around.

I would think dropping off the bags first would not be a problem - the hotel was very friendly and accommodating - anyway dragging bags round Rome is not recommended as the streets are full of people. Note that you have drive from Piazza Del Popolo as the street the hotel is on in one way (North to South). Hope this helps. M

Hello do you have transportation to Ciampino airport?
We used a taxi service, but there is lots of taxi's at the Piazza that is about less than 5 minutes away. Very reasonable fares and hotel helped us with transportation when asked.
