Very Nice Hotel. Cosy athmosphere and very friendly staff. They have a inner garden where you can relax, also breakfast is served there. Room had aircon and had good space. The area is Trastevere, which is a great location with lots of restaurants
This hotel was *fabulous*. I absolutely loved it. I stayed in January 2018, and it couldn't have been better. Trastevere is a wonderful neighborhood and just a short walk from all of the sights in Rome (Pantheon, Vatican City, the Colosseum, and so on). It...More
Friends referred this hotel to us and it was perfect for our short stay in Rome. Situated in a great neighborhood, lovely courtyard and very helpful hotel staff. The baristas make tasty and beautiful cappuccinos!
This is the second time staying at the wonderful Hotel Santa Maria. The Hotel is a welcoming place from the owner, and Chantelle, and all the staff at the hotel. Even before the stay the staff have always been helpful and go the extra mile...More
This is a lovely little hotel and I'd very much recommend it. The Hotel Santa Maria is tucked away off one of the many little winding streets of Trastavere. Rooms open onto cloisters around a pretty little courtyard. Attic suites open onto a little 1st...More
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
